I visited Root Cause, Glasgow on 9 October 2025 and saw Wil. Before my visit I completed a Pre Consultation Survey and uploaded photos of the problem areas on my scalp.  Wil also wanted to see my Blood Test results too which were also forwarded on before my visit.  
Wil really cared and explained everything to me in a way I understood.  I have come away with a treatment plan and will return for a visit in 12 weeks time to see how things are progressing.  
Would highly recommend Wil to anyone suffering hair loss.

I attended the clinic to see Wil on 1st Oct, after an acute onset of severe hair shedding, which was extremely distressing.
I was met with warmth and kindness which put me at ease. Wil was very thorough and I felt confident that the assessment was much more holistic that I had previously experienced.

Wil explained everything as he progressed through the consultation and arrived at a diagnosis and treatment plan. He provided me with confidence in his expertise and some hope for a positive outcome.

I received the report from Wil very promptly, and I will follow the treatment plan suggested for 12 weeks. I will attend a follow up consultation with Wil to assess the situation.

Mr Wil Fleeson was very didatic explaining my health issues that were causing my hair loss and proposing a path of treatment. His report is very informative and the treatment plan is affordable and easy to follow.

I visited Will a week ago with concerns about chronic hair thinning. I had already submitted a pre clearance consultation questionnaire and I was impressed with his empathy, real listening to my concerns and professionalism. He gave me real hope that something effective could be done. I have now ordered Minoxidil through Will’s clinic and will be returning in 6 months for a review. The written report was sent to me quickly (though Will had already given me a verbal assessment at my appointment) and was genuinely informative.
The impact of my hair problems on my confidence has been considerable over the years and I now have a sense of hope that something can be done. Highly recommend

I visited Wil today for a six month consultation after my initial visit in March 2025.
I visited in March as I’d noticed that my hair seemed to be thinning and was anxious to see what could be done.
Wil explained that my hair was growing back in much thinner strands and this explained the loss of volume.
He explained that a solution containing Minoxidil with oestrogen would help with growth and that we should see the difference in six months to a year.
At today’s visit Wil was able to check my hair density and inspect the hair follicles and after six months there is considerable more hair growth and the hair follicles are much thicker - absolutely ecstatic!
I will continue with the solution and will be back to see Wil in another six months.

I attended recently due to hair shedding. Felt vey welcome, and Dr Fleeson was friendly and concerned, explaining things in a way I could understand. Was quick to follow up with his report and recommendations. highly recommended.

Excellent, I attended the consultation with my mother in law who has been suffering with hair loss for some time. Dr Will was able to provide reassurance to my mother in law and actions she can take to help with her hair. Dr Will knows his stuff and offers a calm and non-judgemental space. My MIL is so happy and optimistic for the future.

I attended RootCause Clinic on the 11th September for advice about my worsening hair loss.Wil put me at ease straightaway,he was very welcoming and I felt relaxed. I was glad to get answers, reassurance and a treatment plan for my hair loss and hair thinning. I should have visited a lot sooner! There is so much information online but it's best to see an expert! Thanks also to the Rainbow Room staff (where the clinic is) for being so friendly and helpful.

I had a consultation with Wil last week. I would give more stars if I could. He was fantastic from start to finish. So knowledgeable and helpful. Put me at ease right from the start .Went over my history. Guided me through the blood results and products I’m using.He also advised me on the genetic test which is available without and pressure to go ahead with it. Profession and courteous.consultation did not feel rushed.
Report was sent to me in less than 48 hours. After booking consultation I tried to book bloods with the company that they use and had an issue getting booked. Victoria was right on it getting it resolved when I contacted her. To anyone having hair loss issues I would say do not continue struggling with it. Go ahead and get booked up for great professional advice. Would also like to give a shout out to the girls from the Rainbow Room where the RCC consultation was. They welcomed me and were extremely polite and helpful. I’m looking forward to getting the results of the genetic testing.

Attended Root Cause Clinical in Glasgow this week after experiencing hair growth problems for the first time in my life. This follows a period of ill health.

Will put me at my ease immediately and could not have been more supportive and knowledgeable.
Fortunately he was able to diagnose the problem as well as to reassure me.

I found the session very encouraging and I shall be strictly following the recommended regime in order to bring back good health to my tresses.

After waiting far to long before making an appointment to discuss my hair shedding ,I eventually met with Will in the Glasgow clinic. I had spent months worrying and purchasing numerous products which the Internet told me would solve all my problems!!!
Will diagnosed Telogen Effluvium and gave me advice on what was happening and how to manage it . He did not try to sell me any products. Everything was to be on my terms.
Today was my second visit and my hair growth although slow, (which is perfectly normal), has shown that the hair density has improved a lot(before and after pictures) and should continue to do so over the coming months.
Losing hair is a very emotional and stressful journey and most GPs or hairdressers are not trained in this subject so cannot help. So you feel at a loss on how to go forward.
I wish I had gone to the Trichologist much sooner for effective advice given in a knowledgeable,kind and friendly manner. Thank you Will.

I visited the clinic on Friday, due to rapid hair loss, scalp inflammation and irritation after a hair colour appointment in July the last 2 months have been traumatic!
Wil was so kind & and knowledgeable giving me his diagnosis and explained everything including my blood results obtained from my GP.
I just wish I had went to Wil sooner, he is a true professional!
I will be getting my bloods done again in Nov , but privately this time not at GP’s although sympathetic he not really interested in my hair/scalp health !
I will book follow up appointments with Wil and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone finding themselves in the emotional rollercoaster that is hairloss.

I visited the clinic with my 17 yr old daughter who has been experiencing hair loss and scalp issues. Will discussed her medical reports, day to day hair management and helped us to understand what is happening. He provided clear direction of travel, gave us a list of things we need to do. Only one week passed and we already see an improvement! Going back in 12 weeks for another consultation. I would recommend Will to anyone who is struggling with scalp and hair issues.

I attended Root Cause with my 18yr old son as I had concerns, with son experiencing excessive hair and shedding over 6 - 12 months resulting in son's hair becoming much thinner. Will instantly put my son's fears and mind to rest, with his extensive knowledge and re-assurance throughout in depth consultation. My son felt totally at ease discussing his medical history and concerns. Will provided excellent advice, possible causes, and treatment options available to help. I wish I had taken my son to visit clinic months ago, as recent visit from GP just dismissed concern "its just he start of Male Pattern baldness, happens to most males, you just need to accept it".

A professional, friendly and informative experience during which Wil took time to fully explain what are most likely to be the causal factors of my hair loss..
I left my appointment with a much better understanding of the 'why' and some hope that the proposed 6- 12 month pathway we discussed may be a way to improve the thickness of hair in the thinning problem areas.

I felt very much at ease discussing my hair thinning which I have had for many years. The experience was very informative and I was very interested in the numerous things in diet, lifestyle and certain products that can make a difference to the hair and scalp. I was very impressed with the consultation and will be doing my utmost to achieve a good result in improving the condition of my hair.
