Fantastic customer service
The guys at the Southampton St Mary's branch are absolutely fantastic, it is impossible to overstate just how helpful and friendly they have been!
Ana has been absolutely phenomenal with helping me find the right unit, getting me all set up, and also dealing with an IT issue I had at first really promptly. Her colleague who helped me on a different day was also brilliant. Big thanks to everyone!
I am very happy to be a customer of theirs for the next few months, and will not hesitate to recommend!

We booked a storage unit with Safestore…
We booked a storage unit with Safestore in June to hold our belongings while we moved house. We went i to book and confirm the dates and the month before we were supposed to move in I received an email with different dates on the booking. When I called them they admitted that they had messed up the dates but I still had to pay the difference and charge for last minute changing my dates. The day which we were then moving our belongings in and out of storage the lift was not working which resulted in heavy boxes and furniture needing to be carried up and down flights of stairs. We were not the only people in the position as other customers were complaining they had rented vehicles and would now not get everything done in time due to the lift not working.

Met the Manager Syed and he was very helpful and friendly and sympathetic to my circumstances. Got excellent service and was allocated a good space. Service on a Sunday felt like a normal working day service.

dirty dusty units, their lift is often not working, rude staff (especially female member) AVOID
st.mays store near town BUT staff bad attitude, treat customers like a dirt especially female assistant yet expensive storage, go somewhere else

Long term customer, very happy with this storage solution
Been using Safestore Southampton for years now and always happy with the storage unit and ease of accessibility. Always well lit, clean and cool with plenty of carry carts. The staff always happy to help. Ample parking as well. I always look forward to visiting my unit as it feels like an adventure with the sliding doors and quiet corridors.
