We will be on our 4th pump within 2 years!! The latest has lasted a whole 2 months.
We’ve had their engineers out to check on faults, rectified anything they’ve found and still we have issues!
My 3-month old Salamander shower booster pump had failed and I wanted to claim under the warranty. I contacted Salamander Tech Support and they required me to submit quite a detailed description of my installation and system which included 13 images, 5 system configuration measurements and 3 flow measurements.
Having sent them the requested information, I heard nothing for a week so called the Salamander Tech Support phone number.
The lady who took my call, Susan Haley, could not have been more helpful.
First, she apologised for the lack of response. Apparently my ‘case’ had been mistakenly filed as ‘completed’. She then decided to look into the problem there and then, live, over the phone, rather than fobbing me off with a ‘we will get back to you’ response. Over the next 40 minutes she went through the stuff I had sent in, with Susan asking for clarification where needed and explaining to me various shortcomings in my installation in terms that I, who have no plumbing expertise, could understand.
She then agreed to replace my pump, which may be more than was strictly required, and gave me detailed advice as to how the pipe configuration could be modified to allow the installation to comply with the warranty conditions.
Ms Haley was clear, competent (and charming!) throughout the process and I could not be more satisfied with it and the outcome.
Had to contact Salamander due to a pump breakdown within the warranty period. Their representative I spoke with was so helpful and knowledgeable and guided me through what I had to do to give her the information required, and hope now this will enable a satisfactory conclusion.

As it was still in warranty I phoned salamander and spoke to a very pleasant young lady named Heather. She asked me a few basic questions about the install, so a few measurements and pictures later, I was informed that a new replacement would be on the way soon. I cannot fault the service I received and I'm very happy with the outcome.

I had issues with a malfunctioning hot water pump. I contacted the customer services line and got through to someone who promptly put me in contact with the technical support department.
Lee was the technical advisor who handled my query and provided support and guidance to rule out common issues. When the tests I was instructed to carryout revealed the fault was with the pump, he authorised the dispatch of a replacement unit under warranty.
My experience was very positive and my advisor was knowledgeable and helpful.

Salamander pump to my shower failed to operate. Found failed part and was unable to find anywhere selling a suitable replacement part. Contacted Salamander customer services by email advising what had failed and inquiring if spares were available. Very quick response from Lee in their service department who quickly identified required parts and advised that he had sourced replacements and could send them out the next day totally free of charge. Parts arrived next day to my delight and fitted perfectly. Could not ask for a better customer service response from Lee and the effort he went to to make sure the parts would correct the issue I was having. Would highly recommend Salamander as not only has the pump never missed a beat in six years use, the level of customer support on failure was swift and second to none and it is obvious looking at the new parts that a small redesign has been carried out since the pump was first manufactured which will eliminate that part failing in future.

The pump became faulty after 2 years it was still under warranty but Salamander are refusing to honour the warranty .They have suggested the flow rates in my system are too low .So I connected an identical Salamander pump CT50XTRA to my system and the shower pressure was fine proving that the pump has become defective .Very poor customer service and still won’t honour the warranty .Its clearly not worth the paper it’s written .Avoid this company like the plague very poor quality pumps and even worse customer service .Im truly surprised they are still in business.

We are plumbers, and mainly install bathroom and shower rooms.
There customer service is pointless, as is there warranty, lots of messing about.
We will never use this salamander pump's again, your better off going with Aqualisa they have an excellent customer service, they come and fix the pump with no call out fee no photos and no taking for ever to return emails .
A warranty is only as good as the company. And this lot a crap.
Regarding your response, I've wasted too much time as it is , calling , emailing, sending photos , doing flow test. THE PUMP failed due to a internal seal allowing water into the bearing.

Other companies should take a look at how customer service should be. What I thought was going to be a major headache has turned into a little bump. I was happy with my Salamander product before, now I'm ecstatic with the product. Highly recommend.
