Vi beklager naturligvis den oplevelse, du har haft med din SCALA2.
Da vi ikke sælger direkte til private husejere, vil næste skridt i sådan en situation være at tage dialogen med den VVS installatør, som har solgt og installeret pumpen. Installatøren har de rette forudsætninger for at se installationen på stedet og hjælpe med en afklaring.
Jeg håber, at du sammen med din installatør finder en god og brugbar løsning.

Spares seem to be a problem for this company .

The flexible hose referenced (part no. 97775364) is designed specifically for use on the inlet side of the pump. When installed correctly on the inlet, this part does not split under normal operating conditions.
Issues can occur if the hose is fitted on the outlet side, where pressure conditions are different and may cause the hose to expand beyond its intended use. In these cases, the part is not considered faulty, which is why it would not be supplied under warranty.
For this reason, spare parts are supplied via plumbing merchants, who can also help ensure the correct component is selected for the correct installation.

A positive response

In December 2023 I had a Grundfos shower pump Model A98950217 TYPE STR-2.0C fitted.
It was installed to replace a Mira pump that had worked perfectly for 12 years. It worked for a about 15 months and then started making a lot of noise. It then stopped pumping completely. The installers came to examine it and decided it was seized and must be replaced but was out of warranty. I think a replacement should be offered as the amount of use this product has provided is very poor in a fairly short time.

I received a positive response from Grundfos and they have agreed to supply a new pump despite the expiration of the warranty. I think this is a very fair outcome and appreciate the offer.

Harry Kraus- schnell aber Wucherpreise

Die Firma Harry Kraus ist zwar schnell, aber leider auch viel zu teuer. Für nicht mal eine halbe Stunde Abfluss reinigen ohne ein Ersatzteil zu benötigen musste meine Schwiegermutter 279€ zahlen. Für mich ist das Wucher, aber bei alten Menschen kann man das ja machen!

Grundfos Pumpe Scala2 3-45 UNTERIRDISCH

Ich habe mich im Frühjahr 2023 (leider) für diese Pumpe entschieden. Sie war von Anfang an in unserem Keller im Einsatz - keine Witterung, keine Fremdeinflüsse. Nun ging sie rund 6 (!) Wochen nach Ablauf der Garantie kaputt. Eine Kulanzregelung (Umtausch gegen eine andere oder ein preislich-attraktives Angebot für eine neue) hat man mir, trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage, bewusst nicht angeboten. Zitat: „Leider können wir aufgrund des Alters der Pumpe in dieser Angelegenheit nichts weiter für Sie tun.“
Abgefertigt von einem Möchtegern-Premiumanbieter! Ich kann aufgrund dieser Erfahrung (Totalschaden kurz nach Ablauf der Garantie und super-unfreundliches Kundenverhalten) jedem nur dringend empfehlen, einen anderen Anbieter zu wählen. Bitte recherchieren Sie auch eigenständig im Netz nach weiteren Erfahrungswerten; Sie werden fündig. Schlimmer kann es nicht kommen.
Jetzt suche ich eben eine Alternative, die hoffentlich deutlich länger hält.

Zeitfestigkeit der Pumpen ungenügend.

In meiner Heizungsalage wurden 5 Pumpen des selben Typs und der Spezifikation Grundfos 25-40 180 verbaut. Ich habe nun nach 12 Jahren heute die 4 Pumpe getauscht. Nach meinem Gefühl ist die Elektronik bewusst so eingestellt dass die Pumpen nach 10 Jahren, obwohl mechanisch ok, elektronische Fehler aufweisen. Bei allen Pumpen gleich. Sorry das ist nicht nachhaltig und verdient eigentlich nicht einmal einen Stern.

Das entspricht keinesfalls unseren Ansprüchen an Qualität und Nachhaltigkeit. Unsere Pumpen werden mit dem Ziel entwickelt, eine möglichst lange und zuverlässige Betriebsdauer zu gewährleisten. Die tatsächliche Lebensdauer kann jedoch – insbesondere im elektronischen Bereich – durch verschiedene äußere Faktoren beeinflusst werden, zum Beispiel durch Betriebsbedingungen, elektrische Versorgungsschwankungen, Verschmutzungen im System oder thermische Belastungen.

Ersatzteile Preiswucher!

Die Anlagen sind ja ok solange alles funktioniert.
Die Ersatzteilbeschaffung und Garantieanspruch sind jedoch eine Katastrophe.

Für meine Hebeanlage benötige ich ein Kunststoffteil welches einen Materialpreis von wohl nicht über 10 Euro hat. Ich soll dafür über 500 euro bezahlen :-(
Zudem bekomme ich dies als Privatperson nur über den Fachhandel. Und hier ist schon das nächste Problem. Da die Anlage über einen Onlinehandel gekauft wurde ist kein Fachhändler bereit das Ersatzteil zu beschaffen. Selbst der betr. Onlinehandel führt keine Grundfos Ersatzteile.
Somit werde ich jegliche Artikel von Grundfos generell ablehnen, das ist Abzocke!!!

Grundfos UPS4 commissioning problem.

Fitted a new UPS4 onto an existing unvented system with some trapped air.
Pump limped into life and wouldn't even pump with enough pressure to clear trapped air from coil in hot water cylinder - let alone make enough effort to pump radiator circuit of 4 rads.
Spoke to Grundfos customer service who treated me as as if I've never fitted a pump, assuring me that the UPS4 is s "smart pump" and that air prevents the pump pumping at full speed.
This may be true, but ...
The UPS4 pump seems to be lacking a commissioning setting to put it on full power to perform an initial setup of a heating system.
Wasted one and a half hours trying to get the pump to kick into life.
Should have opted for a basic pump instead - would have got the system running in 5-10 minutes!
UPS4 pump is no improvement on earlier products.
Nobody at Grundfos of the 3 individuals I complained to seemed to think there's an issue.
Would steer clear of this pump given choice.

The UPS4 is designed as a smart pump, which means it automatically adjusts its speed based on system conditions. However, trapped air can significantly affect performance during initial setup.
To help in situations like this, we recommend the following commissioning tip:
Close the valve on the flow side of the pump and allow gravity to flood the pump and remove air.
With the valve closed, you should see the wattage display increase as water fills the pump.
Once the wattage rises sufficiently, slowly open the valve on the flow side while the pump runs at full speed. This should clear the air and restore normal operation.

Zelfs 1 ster is te veel voor deze…

Zelfs 1 ster is te veel voor deze abominabele regenpomp/dit merk.

1e regenpomp na net geen jaar in gebruik kapot maar binnen garantie en vervangen. 2e volledige nieuwe pomp, ook na een dik jaar kapot. Binnen garantie en weer vervangen. De derde pomp is nu WEER kapot, niet meer in garantie dus we zouden nu zelf een nieuwe moeten kopen. We zouden dus aan de VIERDE regenpomp zitten . Wat een klucht van een merk, men zou dit beter volledig uit de handel moeten halen.

I have purchased two grundfos SP7-23,total failure




I have purchased two Grundfos SP7-23 borehole pumps over the past year, with the most recent purchase made just two months ago. Unfortunately, one of the motors has already developed a phase failure, requiring a replacement motor. Despite having a John Tech control box installed to protect the pump, the fault occurred on one of the Grundfos motor phases.

It is disappointing that Grundfos appears to attribute the issue to external factors rather than acknowledging a possible motor winding defect. Grundfos has long been regarded as a premium and reliable brand, but the manufacturing quality seems to have declined in recent times.

Produkt OK, Kundenservice lächerlich!

Produkt OK, Kundenservice lächerlich! Ich hatte (privat) eine Anfrage an den Kundenservice. Ich habe mir für 150€ (UVP 179,93€!) einen Grundfos Reader gekauft. Ein kleines Bluetooth Gerät, um einen hydraulischen Abgleich durchzuführen. Das ist schon ein lächerlicher Preis für so ein Mini Gerät, was nichts anderes tut, als den akuellen Durchfluss per Bluetooth ans Handy zu schicken. Auf jeden Fall sind mir beim Einsetzen der kleinen Knopfzellenbatterie die Mini-Füßchen an der Batterieklappe abgebrochen. Mein Fehler! Anfrage an Grundfos ob die Batterieklappe ersetzt werden kann. Nach 3 Tagen die Antwort:

Grundfos bietet für die Batterieklappe KEIN Ersatzteil an und ich soll mich an den (Zitat) "Fachhändler oder Installateur in Ihrer Nähe" wenden. Auf Rückfrage was der Fachhändler / Installateur tun soll, wenn Grundfos selbst kein Ersatzteil anbietet, wurde erneut die identische Antwort zukommen lassen.

Da die Batterie im Batteriefach nun nicht mehr hält, habe ich durch diesen kleinen Fehler nun 150€ Elektroschrott Zuhause und da die Garantie des Readers bereits abgelaufen ist, kann ich mir jetzt für 150€ einen neuen Reader zulegen. Natürlich kann auch auf Kulanz kein Austausch stattfinden!

Wenn das Teil nicht 150€ kosten würde, würde ich nichts sagen, aber das ist einfach nur lächerlich wegen einem 5 Cent Plastikteil!

NACH ANTWORT VON GRUNDFOS:

Sie haben mir jetzt im Endeffekt auch hier nochmal den gleichen Vorschlag gemacht, den Sie mir bereits per E-Mail zukommen haben lassen, der mir bei meinem Problem aber NULL weiterhilft… Das 150€ Gerät was ich von Ihnen erworben habe FUNKTIONIERT einwandfrei, wenn man die 5-Cent Batterieklappe tauschen würde. Und nein, es ist keine „Alternative“ anzubieten, den Ausgleich für mehrere Tausend Euro bei einem Installateur durchführen zu lassen. Vielleicht „leiht“ er mir ja seine Batterieklappe für 50€?! *sarkasmus aus*. Ich denke die Bewertung mit einem Stern ist gerechtfertigt. Danke für die Antwort.

Happy to take your money even happier to do nothing for it

This company has charged me £231.00 to send someone out to investigate a faulty pump which is under warranty and after doing absolutely nothing apart from identifying that a pump seal had failed (which he assumed was caused by an underground pipe leak) he then advised they will need to order parts and speak to a manager to see if this falls outside warranty with no proof of any external leak at all.

We cancelled the return visit after deciding the pump was not worth the hassle causing more issues and used constant electricity from never turning off to avoid any further costs! To then be told the full £231.00 will be taken as the issue fell outside of warranty (no proof whatsoever of external leak) and the failed seal still broken with water coming out of pump....to top things off the site report shows that "customer was not present" to sign off the report when in fact I was there the entire time and have a video on my phone of the leak from failed seal.

I will be taking this further and simply.... looking at the other reviews one customer had 5 faults in a year, speaks volumes.

Don't ask me to reach out to your support email either because I already have and this was the response I got.

I have been fitting Grundfos pump for…

I have been fitting Grundfos pump for many years. Based on their reputation as market leading pumps.
Since the introduction of GRUNDFOS UPS3 15-50/65 we have had replace at least 5 faulty pumps in the last year. These pump were either under 1 Year Old or 2 max. These have been replaced at the expense of my business both in time and replacement pumps.
At this point the penny has dropped that these have design fault and will have no choice but to find alternative manufacturer. I hope Grundfos are a company that realises that they have problem and need to make changes or their reputation will really suffer.

Bureaucratic nightmare

SOLOLIFT2 WC-3 Macerator pump stopped working within warranty. First of all, trying to find a number to call them on was a mission in of itself...when I did get through, I was told they need the part number and manufacture date...which is on the macerator, in the holiday let, with guests in...was told that they would need to send someone out...i just want a spare part, I'll fit it myself! It really shouldn't be so hard to provide customer service...

Want to see if I can buy spare plug to fit there Alpha 2 auto detect .tried filling out their form on website which said failed try later,an hour of trying I gave up found phone no for head office after ringing and pressing relevant buttons was told info available on web site Good bye.
Correct I will not not be back for your products

While we aim to support all users of our pumps, accessories not made by Grundfos may not be listed or supported through our standard channels. Grundfos UPS3 15 50 65

UPS3 installed Oct 2024,not used for few months,went to put on for Hot Water,not working.Works for heating,same water same system,was told needs servicing every 6 months or less and won't work if not used all the time.Last one lasted 10-15 years,no maintenance needed.Told to get serviced or refund,most say same problem,design problem clearly so don't buy them or Grundfos stuff as no help,don't work properly,and who wants to fix it themselves(if able) or pay to do so every 6 months?Our survey said...

We’d like to clarify that the UPS3 is designed to operate reliably across heating and hot water systems, and regular servicing is not typically required every six months. In fact, based on our records and a recent conversation, it appears this may not have been a pump issue after all. If you spoke to our team, we hope everything has now been resolved. Worst customer services

Worst customer services, we have multiple pumps at our premises, but cannot get any meaningful help from Grundfos direct. A new pump is £2000, yet the service parts are £2200, total theft, yet they refuse to respond or help in any way whatsoever - avoid this company at all costs

waterpomp defect, slechte service

Jammer genoeg net zoals vele andere een heel slechte ervaring met een waterpomp van Grundfos. Gaat na 5 jaar kapot (waar volgens hun site + chat een pomp minstens 10 jaar moet meegaan), maar Grundfos geeft niet thuis. Ze trekken hun paraplu open met allerlei excuses om niet te moeten vergoeden. Ze bieden een korting aan voor een nieuwe pomp. De volgende zal zeker geen pomp van dit merk zijn. Echt schandalig slechte service.

Edit: mail gestuurd zoals gevraagd, maar uiteraard geen antwoord gehad. Ook hier weer een extra minpunt voor service...

My pump(Grundfos STN-4.0 B) has started…

My pump(Grundfos STN-4.0 B) has started to cycle on/off. I had a plumber come to investigate and he said it isn't a leak anywhere so suggested I call Grundfos to get the valves changed as most likely the issue. I rang the Dublin number to check it in but have been told I have to go to the premises in Ballymount to get a quote but I need to bring the pump with me so they can see what the problem is. I asked for an email address or phone number but was told they don't have either. I asked if they had a phone in the building and was told NO. I want a quote to replace the 2 valves and asked for this before I remove the pump but was again told that I would have to bring the pump to the premises. Beggars belief how these guys are in business. Wish I had looked at Trust Pilot reviews before I bought this pump. Haven't seem a worse reputation.
