We had an outstanding time with Lore Obscure and Suffyan. This intro to D&D with a local folklore twist was funny, exciting, intriguing and, at the end, strangely moving. The whole setup is extremely professional and well done - from the mood music and lighting, through to the snacks and props. Our party had experienced players and novices, adults, a child of 12 and a neurodiverse adolescent and everybody had a simply brilliant time. Suffyan was a delightful host and a magical storyteller. Could not recommend more highly.

I book a trip on Seek Sophie.Munduk: Ancient Jungle Trekking and Remote Waterfalls Adventure. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves nature and outdoor adventures. The rainforest walk was enjoyable and not challenging at all, making it suitable for people of all fitness levels. The canoe ride was incredibly relaxing—just sit back, enjoy the cool breeze, and take in the peaceful surroundings. One of the highlights was taking a refreshing dip in the beautiful waterfall.
I also enjoyed meeting fellow travelers and had the pleasure of getting to know three wonderful women from the USA who share the same passion for travel.
The entire trip was very well organized. Breakfast and lunch were included, and we even got to sample some delicious local fruits and snacks along the way. The driver and guide were professional, responsible, and attentive, ensuring that everyone was safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the day.
Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My Partner and I have been travelling for 2 months now, but this has honestly been a highlight of our trip. Everything was perfection, from the amazing food, to the comfortable rooms with en suites, to the incredible and attentive service of the crew, to the boat infrastructure itself. After every excursion we were greeted with smiles and waves as well as snacks and refreshments. Every meal was so delicious, we were so well fed and looked after.
Our tour guide was Dedy Sadhy, and he was amazing!! He was so friendly and funny and great company, as well as being a great photographer and videographer. He made sure we had fab content, conducting photo shoots with so much passion and expertise. He knew everything about all the animals on both sea and land that we encountered and treated everyone so kindly.
The crew and captain were extremely professional and experienced, they were always so friendly and smiley and accommodated every request.
The tour itself was unbelievable. We saw komodo dragons, manta rays, turtles, deer, monkeys and more. Scenic landscapes and stunning sunsets.
The boat having a projector was a massive plus too, we had a movie night!
A few major pluses was fast and reliable wifi on the boat at all times, free pick up before and after trip, quick customer service and endless included snacks and refreshments.
5 stars - we could not recommend more!!

I have done three Seek Sophie experiences and have thoroughly enjoyed both. They seek out local guides and I feel like I am supporting ethical tourism. I loved doing the Ha Giang Loop. They were the only company I saw to have the options of camping and kayaking. We had a blast and really got to know our small group!

This company strives to share the wildlife, knowledge of the rainforest and excellent food. We were blown away with how our guide managed to spot so many animals and birds, going above and beyond to make sure we saw as much as possible. We saw five crocodiles, so many proboscis monkeys we lost count, hornbills, silver leaf monkeys and so much more. We also learnt about the local culture and the plants in the rainforest with not one but two walks in it. The accommodation was beautiful and going to sleep with the sounds of the rainforest surrounding me is something I’ll never forget. If you are looking for a place that really cares about you and the environment then you must come here. It was excellent from start to finish!!

I would highly recommend this tour! The tour guide was super knowledgable and answered all my questions, from jelly fish facts to the fishing villages and Cat Ba people. The boat is super cute and the staff served an incredible spread for lunch. The experience left me satisfied with kayaking, wildlife viewing, swimming, cruising, and getting to see a fish farm. Also, this is a local tour run by local guys who can share information about Cat Ba life, history, and people. Tourism is obviously exploding in this area, and as a tourist, I try my best to be curious about the place I’m visiting, learn about the people and culture, and do my best to support local businesses. This tour definitely checks those boxes! Thanks for a great time and best of luck for the future!
