At the DHL site

At the DHL site! I’ve got to say what a big scam and con, AI doors to see what you pick up and you have to deposit 5 pounds minimum. On the menu, you can see it before you buy, and the prices are different as soon as you checkout! 2.40 for a wrap then 3.40, and then also a yogurt said 1.50 was 2.40.

Joke! Wouldn’t recommend at all, scam at its finest.

En la biblioteca de la facultad de traducción e interpretación de la Universidad de Vigo hay una máquina de Pelican Rouge café y ya van varios meses que no renuevan bebidas y menos en época de exámenes en que se sale tarde del estudio y está todo cerrado. Es imposible tomar té al limón por ejemplo y luego el chocolate caliente sabe mal y no sienta muy bien que digamos... Si hay universidades que piensan en contratar con esta empresa, absténganse de hacerlo. Gracias!

Unterste Schublade und absolut schlechter Service. Wer seine Kunde, Mitarbeiter etc. verärgern möchte, holt sich Selecta ins Haus. Immer Defekte und Probleme mit den Automaten, dazu noch Mangelhafter Support!

Disappointing Experience

Disappointing Experience: Overpriced, Poor Selection, and Faulty Vending Machines.

The food is significantly overpriced and the selection is very poor. However, the most urgent issue is the malfunctioning vending machines. They are consistently taking money without dispensing the product, resulting in lost funds and significant frustration. This needs immediate attention.

I’ve been waiting for a refund for 9 months

I’ve been waiting for a refund since the 12th of February! Everytime I ring I get the same bull and nothing happens. They tell me my case has been logged and they can see it and will process my refund. It’s been 9 months and still nothing. Terrible terrible customer service.

Today in Derby

Today in Derby, I wanted a hot chocolate but got warm water instead.
When I called the number, they refused to refund my money. So, it turns out I need to know the device ID number. But I live in Sheffield, so I have to go back to Derby to find out the number???

Joke of a company

Machines never work, it stole my money and you can never get the contactless to work. Absolutely a waste of time. They also cannot spell authorising incorrectly.

Terrible company to contact

Terrible company to contact. Machine at Manchester airport is dispensing hot water instead of soup. Trying to contact them for a refund is a nightmare. On the phone they say refund department isn't available and they will call you back and they don't. On line they give a big list of things you have to do to get the refund which again involve calling the company and being passed around. Yes I know it's only £1.50 but the principal is the same and it feels like they are just hoping people give up. Won't ever use one of their machines again.

Très "Expérience très décevante avec Selecta" expérience avec…

Très mauvaise expérience avec l’automate Selecta situé à ESSO EG La Ferté St Ambreuil – A6.
Le 6 septembre 2025, j’ai payé 5,80 € (2,80 € pour un chocolat au lait et 3,00 € pour un chocolat spécial), mais la machine n’a rien délivré.

Malgré mon contact avec le service consommateur et la transmission de toutes les informations nécessaires (IBAN, date, montant, référence), je n’ai à ce jour reçu aucun remboursement.
La communication est lente et aucune solution concrète n’est proposée.

Très décevant – à l’avenir j’éviterai d’utiliser Selecta.

Absolute crooks

Absolute crooks !
I got 2 water dispensers from them and in the small print somewhere on the contract they apparently put that I have to have are visits every 6 months to change the water filters. They charged me £1500 per visit !!! For changing filters !!
Then when I got a £4500 bill that I can’t pay they won’t accept £500 per month! They’re saying I have to pay if off in 3 months. Criminal!
Mot once didn’t get a call or email to see the engineers were coming.
Not once did I see the engineers. And here we are with a £4.5k bill that might just been closure of my small independent business.
Avoid selecta at all costs !

Stealing Money from My Account

Have a receipt for £4.59 yet they charged my bank £5.00.

It's not the first time I've had an issue, It charged me for a ghost sandwich the last time I used it.

I emailed a complaint but they just ignored it, I guess they know you're probably not going to bother chasing it up.

Proper sketchy company, won't be using their machines again.

I'm sorry that you have had an issue with one of our machines. This is not the experience we wish our customers to have. We have requested further information so that we can determine the type of machine you purchased, allowing us to address your complaint effectively.

If you purchased a Smart Fridge, please note that your bank will hold a £5 charge as pre-authorisation, much like a petrol pump. This should be automatically refunded (or the difference between this and any purchase you made). You will only be charged for your actual purchase, which may take up to 7 working days.

With regards to your previous complaint, every contact should be logged and responded to by our Customer Experience team, and I apologise if this was not the case. Please ensure you use client.support@selecta.com or call us on 01256 348 600 so that we can look into this further.

You can also contact us using these details to log your current complaint if a refund has not been processed automatically.

Leider sind Minus-Sterne nicht möglich

Leider sind Minus-Sterne nicht möglich, denn das Verhalten von Selecta sucht in Sachen Dreistigkeit und Ironie seinesgleichen.

Nachdem ein Selecta-Fahrer grobfahrlässig – durch unerlaubte Handynutzung am Steuer und fehlenden Abstand in einer stehenden Kolonne – auffuhr, war die gesamte „Entschuldigung“ gleichentags von Selecta:

„Wir hoffen sehr, dass es Ihnen gut geht und Sie weiterhin Ihr Fahrzeug nutzen können.“

Die Realität:
• Meine Frau verbrachte den ganzen Tag in zwei Krankenhäusern mit Schleuder- und Beschleunigungstrauma.
• Sie konnte vier Tage nicht arbeiten und hatte drei Wochen lang Schmerzen.
• Unser Auto musste mehrere Tage in die Werkstatt.

Nach über vier Monaten Schriftverkehr (>100 A4-Seiten, >40 Stunden Aufwand) mit der AXA, bei der Selecta versichert ist, erhielten wir als „Entschädigung“ gerade einmal CHF 11.05 Taggeld – nicht einmal genug, um eine einzige Stunde Arbeitsausfall zu decken.

So einfach macht es sich Selecta: Verantwortung abwälzen, Probleme aussitzen und Betroffene zermürben.

Fazit:
Boykottiert Selecta – ein Unternehmen, das weder Verantwortung übernimmt noch Respekt für Geschädigte zeigt, verdient keine Unterstützung, sondern einzig und alleine Negativwerbung!

Habe für eine simple Flasche Wasser…

Habe für eine simple Flasche Wasser 3,90.- bezahlt – eine absolute Frechheit. Das Schlimmste: Geld wurde abgebucht, aber der Automat hat nichts ausgegeben. Man zahlt also einen übertriebenen Preis und bekommt nicht mal das Produkt. Kundenfreundlichkeit = 0. Das grenzt schon an Betrug. Nie wieder Selecta!

Miserabler Dienst & Finktionen der kaffeautomaten bei Lidl.

Seit die kaffeautomaten in den Lidl Filialen zu Selecta gehören, ist der Dienst miserabel. Früher konnte meist ein Lidl Mitarbeiter das Problem lösen. Heute sendet man einen Techniker. Den Kaffe will man an Ort und möchte nicht all zu lange warten. Miserabel der Dienst seit diese zu Selecta gehören.

Spülwasser Automat

Wieviel Geld gerade abgezogen wurde weiß ich noch nicht aber der Kaffee soll angeblich von Lavaza sein, mein Spülwasser schmeckt sehr wahrscheinlich besser! Aber mit einer Bewertung von 1,2 was soll man da erwarten!

We have a water cooler

We have a water cooler, it takes over 5 working days to get our water delivered.
We have no service plan so when I asked for a service was told that it would cost £700 + VAT Cira for just one service and filter change ( we could buy a brand new machine for less than £200). I asked for an upgrade with service plan and was quoted £34.84 A WEEK!. So we have sent a letter terminating our contract and now I have radio silence. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS FIRM.
