I feel it's a blatant attempt to get the money upfront as a free loan. If this is happening to hundreds of people, which I wouldn't doubt, the dollars would be considerable,

Just a warning. I have ordered from this company for years. BUT BUYER BEWARE now. I made an order and paid for it and the shipping they charged then they added nearly 40 dollars shipping and then cancelled my whole order. it's just plain BS. there were NO FREIGHT CHARGES!!!! WHY WOULD GAUZE NEED TO BE FREIGHTED? until REVIVAL ANIMAL HEALTH TOOK OVER everything went great but now shopmedvet is terrible.
IN THE YEAR SINCE YOU TOOK OVER YOU HAVE A 1 STAR RATING SHOPMEDVET ALWAYS HAD 5 STARS. NOW THIS IS A DIFFERENT STORY THAN I WAS TOLD WHEN I CALLED. YOU NEED TO GET5 YOUR STORYS STRAIGHT

What JERKS!
THEY sent me 20 boxes of the WRONG item, (nitrile gloves if it makes a difference) and it's 100% their fault, but they wouldn't budge on sending me the correct ones.

AFTER A LOT OF *INTERNET DIGGING* I FOUND THAT SHOPMEDVET NO LONGER EXISTS, AND THE NEW COMPANY, REVIVAL ANIMAL HEALTH HAS "INTEGRATED" IT INTO ITSELF.
I even querried the AI about a merger, it lied to me, I caught the lie and this is what came back as a lame reply:

Why should I take time out of MY schedule to return something that was THEIR OVERSIGHT. This is the BS email that I received:

I understand your frustration in the matter. I, as the customer service manager, have even spoken with my higher up managers.
However, per our policy we cannot ship out the correct gloves unless we receive the incorrect ones in return.
We also cannot issue a refund without receiving the items in return.
We have offered to cover the cost of the return shipping, so all you would need to do is drop the package off.
If you wish to not return the items, please let us know and we will cancel the return.

Med-Vet International, the worst place to buy from.
I purchased some items, but they were canceled because the billing and shipping addresses did not match. After they informed me, I immediately completed my order by phone. She told me that, as they had the items in stock, my order should arrive in two days.
Last week, they sent me an email to charge more to ship a specific item. I asked to cancel, but it is still in my order. Three weeks pass, and I have nothing. Ridiculous. First and last purchase. I don't have the things I bought. I really don't recommend!! Starless.

Same experience as recent reviews have listed. Items were not listed to be backordered and yet have a one month delay which is not reasonable. Will update review when I get my refund or whether I have to chargeback

I'd give 0 stars if I could. ShopMedVet use to be a great place to shop a few years ago but now they are horrible. I've placed two orders within the last two weeks and even though they sent a confirmation receipt they turned are and canceled them both. They didn't even send a email stating why. Won't shop there again.

This used to be a good business not sure what happened lately their employees don’t know how to count or pack orders. Their customer service is nonchalant, sassy and condescending. I’ve paid for my order and received only 1/3. When I called them about it they were unprofessional and not helpful to say the least. I will not do business with shopmedvet.com ever again.
Used MedVet for 4 years, but the company has dropped down in reputation. Back orders and delays for syringes needed ASAP. The inconvenience and runaround is unacceptable.
Used to be way better. Not sure what happened. Things aren't being shipped, and communication is nonexistent. Won't reply to messages. Probably going to have to dispute charge to get money back. Disappointing because they used to be flawless.
Update: ShopMedVet was purchased by Revival Animal Health in February of 2025, which explains the plummet in service. Finally got a reply back that canceled my order. Revival obviously does not care at all about carrying forward what ShopMedVet created. This store should be avoided now.
I ordered an item 3 months ago that was back-ordered. Company gave several dates that the item would be delivered, each time they never came. Finally was getting no updates, so called the company and they said it would be another 2 weeks. I asked if there was a comparable item, and they said yes but it woud be more expensive. I asked if I could get the item for the same price as the item I originally ordered since I've been waiting for 3 months, and the customer service rep was not very friendly and said no we don't do that. I asked to talk to a superviser and got a lady named Nancy. She was short with me and not very friendly either and said we won't do that. I then asked to talk to someone over her, and she said his name is Dan and that he won't do it. She went to talk to him and he approved the lower price, which I appreciate. Overall, not friendly people. I don't think my request was unreasonable as the price difference was not that much. You would think they would wan't to keep a long-time customer happy.
Extremely fast shipping. Ordered on Christmas Eve and it shipped that night, much faster than I expected. Best prices I could find and accurate order, quick communication. A+, will buy from again.

Been customer for years with no issues until recently. Ordered products that appear to be in stock and part of shipment but not in package. After calling company, I’m told currently out of stock from vendor but can get from another vendor?? Never called or contacted me that it is out of stock nor suggested to get from different supplier. Shipping isn’t cheap and typically slow. This happened twice with same medication. Called and briefly spoke to a manager that already had the vibe of “here goes another old white guy mansplaining “. Said would call back after reviewing the orders… didn't happen.
