Found a property to suit, e mailed a date [ 8 October to 14 October]. Had response that date not available but 26 September until 9 October ok. Emailed back the 2 October until 9 October is ok.
Her response was ok I'll send booking form in the tomorrow.
Next message, " Sorry I made a mistake, thought there was a gap but not available until November. "
I know we all make mistakes but what a way to run a business.

Booked our Villa in the South of France through SimplyOwners. Works very well and enables you to liaise with the owners directly which gives you so much peace of mind. Villa was exactly as described and we were not disappointed in any respect. We had a lovely holiday and wouldn't hesitate to book through them again.

I rented an apartment close to Torremolinos town centre. Most evenings we walked into town for food and a browse. Good access with lift or stairs, 1st floor. Very clean, new kitchen, well stocked with equipment. Oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. Good bathroom with washing machine if needed. Comfortable bed, one fair sized bedroom with plenty of closet space. Nice seating area in lounge/dining area. Lovely aspect with big windows. Very clean pool and bar area which provided food at reasonable cost.
Car parking was in the college opposite, but it was during Spanish holiday so I suspect if the college is being used you may have to enquire, but good parking space out on the street. Overall a good experience, the apartment had good security and it was clean and tidy on arrival.
The only thing I would say is that it did not have air con and it got a little warm but with the big windows opened it was fine.

The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, from the stunning views to the cozy interiors. The kindness and helpfulness did not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything she did for us.

Our return to Monte Verde with a 3 generation family was just the best experience for everyone - the pool was the center of everything for the children & the adults too. Lots of outdoor seating for everyone to find their own quiet space and the Air conditioning made sleeping easy in the heat - all in all a 10/10 holiday
