Amazing final result (looks very natural) and throughout the process Kristy has been excellent, she is very friendly and accommodating to ensure you are 100% happy.

I was very nervous going into the treatment as it last such a long time and I had a bit of a rollercoaster of feelings about how it was looking after the first and second treatment as it looks quite different immediately after walking out of the studio to how it looks a couple of weeks later once the ink settles in.
However I trusted the process and Vinny who did my treatment and a few months after finishing the treatment I can say that I am very satisfied with the result.

I went in for a top up having had the original treatment 8 years ago. Whilst only minor fading over that time, the main reason for me going back was because I had lost more hair in the intervening years and had some bald spots. Vinny was brilliant; informative, engaging and very skilful, I have received another fantastic experience with Skalp and love the end result. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking into a hair loss solution, particularly MSP. I did some research before I first attended 8 years ago and felt they were the best out there. It still appears to be the case.

SMP was something I had been considering and researching for about 5 years.

I finally made the decision Skalp were easily the best in the UK and decided Skalp is the only way forward for my treatment.

Rosa was my practitioner in the Edinburgh Team , she has an eye for detail and was excellent at communicating the process throughout each of the sessions.

I am glad Rosa did the work as your practitioner is your artist so needs to be exceptionally good.

Rosa is such an affable, interesting person and we chatted throughout my sessions which put my initial nerves at ease.

Rosa always took the time in her friendly way to explain anything I wasn't sure of or that I needed more information on - she was great!

We started a little lighter as the hair I have is grey and on my request darkened and increased the density after each session healed.

I have very sensitive skin but the week between sessions was fine and the head went red for a day or so , then healed quickly.

The pain levels are minimal in my opinion, but you could take a paracetamol before each session if you have a very low pain threshold.

When the head heals and you shower before the next session, the SMP will lighten a little as everything then settles in and then I apply some Bepanthen cream for a little while thereafter.

I always learn from other peoples experiences, so if you have the opportunity to travel over to the Edinburgh clinic, it is on the outskirts of the city, off the A720 , so easily accessible and has lots of off street parking for free, it was easy for me, coming from Glasgow with the commute taking just over an hour.

I arrived early to ensure I was on time and parked up and walked near the city , 1.5 miles and got a Greggs for lunch each time.

Final thoughts, I wish I had not waited so long and that's the common theme I read throughout my research !!

I was nervous at first but Sabina was very reassuring and skilled at her work. She combined micro pigmentation with the hair I already had and I'm very pleased with the results.

Communication with Skalp was easy and effortless from start to finish, always had time for me and my questions and were always friendly and helpful.

In regards to the actual procedure, I can’t rate them any higher. The finished result is absolutely perfect and the knowledge and time they put in to each person makes it all the better.

Sabina in Manchester was my practitioner and she was just amazing, so friendly and really is just incredible at what she does. We’ve become friends over my visits and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She really is an asset to Skalp and I couldn’t be happier.

Today I had a session 1 of my micropigmentation procedure, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The entire experience, from consultation to attending the appointment was smooth and professional. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable(Christine & Rosa) and made me feel comfortable throughout. The procedure itself was performed with great skill and precision by Rosa , and I am massively looking forward to seeing finished result in around 4 weeks time. I would highly recommend this clinic for anyone considering this procedure and I will review again once all of my sessions have been completed. So far, so good 😊

I had my third session on 8/12/2023 and I’m delighted with the results.

After the second session, I was feeling a little bit underwhelmed and expressed my concern to Christine. She was really receptive to my thoughts and reassured me that the results would be more visible after the third session and she was completely right.

I’m thrilled with how my hair looks now and would thoroughly recommend the procedure to anyone considering it.

I’ve been really impressed with the service from Christine and Rosa and it’s definitely made a huge difference to my appearance and confidence.

My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.

I had SMP before and my hairline looked very artificial. I was very conscious that other people also noticed this. Vinny did an excellent job correcting this and giving my hairline a much more natural appearance. Really pleased with how it turned out and I appreciate the attention and care he gave to make sure I was satisfied with the result.

It has been three weeks since my third and final treatment with Vinny @ Skalp in Carlisle Street,Soho.

Sabina has a beautiful energy and vibe about her, and is a master of her craft.

Had some SMP done on some scars and Vinny was such a great person that took care of it.

From starting out uncertain, to doing the sessions, he put me at ease and was so honest and helpful in answering questions. The results were brilliant and sometimes you have to trust the process, when a professional that has been in game as long as Vinny has, explains every aspect of the work and is alway able to give an honest answer.
