I can't write a bad review about a bike…
I can't write a bad review about a bike shop because we are all cyclists and the bike trade is tough enough to make a go of these days. So all I will say is that they are nice & well meaning people at Slane, but if you are buying something that you need them to deliver quickly, it is worth a quick call to check that the item is actually in stock and ready to ship. I should have done that.

Spent more time tracking down the parcel.
Despatched and goods never delivered or any attempt to deliver. Tacking and chasing was just a hassle
2 week delivery time line.

HI Gavin, Thank you for your review and custom. After reading your review I called twice as I was hoping you could provide some info but got answerphone.
Sorry Royal Mail didn't deliver your order in the timeframe that we paid for.
Your order was placed on Saturday 25th May Bank Holiday weekend. We upgraded your shipping free to Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery before 1pm service and despatched your order on the first available collection day which was the 28th. According to Royal Mail tracking delivery was attempted on Friday 31st of May which was behind schedule but they are stating addres was inaccessible. I've checked delivery address you provided and postage label both match so don't understand why Royal Mail are stating this. I was hoping that you could confirm that address was correct as I wish to raise your delay with Royal Mail.
Royal Mail tracking is now showing that redelivery was requested on the 4th of June for redelivery on the 6th.
If you have any problem at all best to contact Slane Cycles by email or phone and we will endeavour to do our best to resolve any issue you may have. We can only help if we are made aware of problem.
