Slips Away Opiniões 

Had a new shower room installed and decided to replace the old rubber bath mat as it didn't fit well and was a nuisance to dry. Decided on the slips away discs as they stay in place, and seem more hygienic. Did wonder if they would have enough grip, but pleasantly surprised how safe they are. No issues with grip,look nice, easy to clean.
Very pleased. Good product. I would recommend these as a safer alternative to a rubber mat.

Disappointing

The web site listing clearly states these strips are pre-drilled.

It clearly says that in a couple of places on the listing.

The strips arrived quickly, but NOT drilled.

Customer services were quick to respond but said the listing “clearly” states these strips are undrilled!

In fact, the listing has an ambiguously worded component in red which does not read well at all, as follows:

WE CAN CUT THESE STRIPS DOWN TO ANY SIZE FREE OF CHARGE BUT PLEASE NOTE PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE STRIPS ARE UNDRILLED

I read that if the strips were ordered to be cut down, then they would not be pre-drilled. This did not concern me as I wanted the standard size.

Maybe they should have used some punctuation?

Maybe they should have removed the other multiple references to the strips being pre-drilled?

After all, customers have no idea what the manufacturing process is, for all we know they have a drilling jig that is set up for standard sizes only and can’t drill bespoke sizes.

Anyhow, whilst customer services responded quickly, they did not offer any resolution other for me to return for a refund.

Frankly speaking it would cost more and take longer for me to return them than drilling them myself.!

As soon as I said that I would not buy from them again and would leave an appropriate review, they suddenly asked what they needed to do to rectify the situation.

I asked for a partial refund and for them to consider the wording on their listing.

Radio silence this time.!

So one star for customer services and two stars for the product.

Why just two stars for the product? Well as they were not drilled, as described, and as they sent “rust free” screws that are not actually rust proof.

I note they have now removed the offending wording, no doubt because they now have the drilled items in stock despite telling me they would not be available until December.

Other suppliers do actually deliver exactly what is on their listing and also include stainless steel screws as standard. the devils is in the detail - buyer beware.

Quick service. Good quality product which came with good instructions and useful cleaning wipes.
The only minor niggle was the non slip strips were described as clear but they actually had a very slight yellow tint.

Bought replacement discs after slight discolouration of originals .. but this is after after 13 years of use. Originals were still safe to walk on .. removal and replacement going well.
Great customer service to quickly deliver additional discs required.

Useful product but getting the backing paper off is a pain! Maybe a little tab would help
