Assuming they moved a neighbour out but decided to leave their old beds in our bin store. Said they would return and move them but still left and not come back. Now deleting reviews about this. Disgusting.

Dumped mattresses and bed frames in the bin area of our flats causing the bins to be blocked for residents. Said they would collect but haven’t

Fly tipping in bin stores of apartments where I live. Admitted this to the management company but never collected it!

You might want to come back and collect the beds and other junk your company dumped at Dorchester Court in Camberley!!!
Caught on dashcam dumping waste and admit it to the management company, yet doesn't have the decency to come and get rid of it

This company have been reported for fly-tipping and disrespecting property! They have been caught on camera dumping mattresses and large furniture in our communal bin store (residential). They have admitted this to our management company and promised to collect the items but have not done so. Residents are unable to get to the bins and the council have suspended our regular refuse removal, as they cannot get to the bins to empty them for us.
Our rubbish is piling up and becoming health hazard, thanks to these inconsiderate and unprofessional people!

This company are avid fly tippers. They have been caught on video illegally fly tipping at our residential property.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from this company, as they had been fly tipping in our apartment block. I would not give them business. COWBOYS

Cowboys, they flytip your unwanted stuff in OUR bin store. Which we then get charged to remove.

My possessions were packed and moved into storage in April last year. I discovered the damage when my stuff came out of storage in September.

Where do I begin! Valuable and irreplaceable items broken. Completely inadequate and non-existant packaging. I have photos! (I agree with all the points made in Janine's review - packaging not as described in the quote, untrained young guys chucking stuff in boxes and not wrapping items, plus sofas and mattress not wrapped.....it goes on. Like her, I chose South East Movers because of the in-person visit which gave me confidence they would know exactly how things needed to be packed and what size trasnport they'd need etc.)

In addition, this company is not a member of the British Association of Removers (BAR) or any professional body, so you have limited recourse if anything goes wrong.

The insurance South East Movers has in place is inadequate. I incurred hundreds of pounds in repair costs and losses.

After much wrangling, Lee would only admit liability for one piece - a carved stone work of art which had been put face down at the bottom of a cardboard box with no protection. It cost £550 over ten years ago and would cost a lot more to replace. I received £175 as this was deemed to be its 'second hand value'. There is no 'new for old' cover, so the claim handlers can set the lowest second hand value they can get away with.

The losses I incurred have been a complete heartbreak and very upsetting. I deeply regret using this company and not checking whether they belonged to the BAR.

Would highly recommend Lee and his team of movers. From obtaining a quote in person to moving day, the whole team were so professional, friendly and polite and couldn’t do enough for us. They were hard working and accommodating all within a reasonable price.
Would highly recommend and definitely use again.

Lee and his team helped us with moving from London to our new home in Surrey. They worked quickly and efficiently and showed the utmost care. They arrived at our destination 10 minutes before we turned up with the keys and unloaded and placed everything as requested and in both instances made every effort to do a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend Southeastmovers for your removal needs! Thank you again Lee, Dan and the rest of the team.

I was nervous about doing a big move by myself but they made the process easy and hassle-free. Friendly and polite, straight forward to communicate with. It was a fair price too and they don’t charge extra fees if it takes a certain number of hours. Would happily use their services again.

Nothing was too much trouble, pick ups from multiple locations and last minute changes all included in the price. Danny and his mate were quick and accurate. Even missed their (well deserved) lunch break to get it done

VERY Poor & Never again, they arrived late, van wasn't big enough (part of the reason I chose them is they came around in person so should have had a better understanding of items to be moved!), they sent a second van, that also wasn't enough.

Didn't finish loading until 4:30pm, left electrical and leather furniture in the rain.

Didn't include any of the things they mentioned in the quote e.g., packaging for pictures and mirrors, bag for TV's, Mattress protection covers. They then folded the expensive mattresses in half, causing the button things to pop.

Furniture was scuffed, items broken, no protection provided for floor coverings (dirty trainers)..... New felt pads added to furniture before we moved were black/filthy when they were brought into the new house with new flooring.

I was told I had a strong team, which I thought meant they were experienced and worked well together - ha, they were members of the local rugby team, as the firm had ocver committed for the day we were completing.

SO disappointed and angry - made an already busy day ALOT MORE STRESSFUL than it needed to be. Luckily our buyers were not moving in the same day and were very understanding.

Definitely wouldn't recommend - you get what you pay for, and while they weren't the cheapest by any means it wasn't worth the saving/hassle.

I arranged the movers on behalf of my dad and the process was straightforward and without any stress! Lee arrived and gave us a quote without any unnecessary sales pitch and was honest about what to expect.
On the day of the move, he was there to assist and had my dad’s home packed up and ready to go effortlessly. Great team, friendly and respectful of personal belongings.
Amazing service provided and I will be recommending them a lot!

We used Lee and his team a few weeks ago and we cannot recommend them enough. They were super efficient and helped make our move as calm and easy as possible. Their packing (tetris) skills were seriously impressive! Thanks so much guys, you made what could of been a super stressful couple of days surprisingly chilled!

I cannot recommend South East movers enough. They went above and beyond and made the most stressful day manageable. It was the hottest day of the year and they kept working and never complained. They were so friendly and easy to communicate with. The move went so much easier than I thought possible. Thank you so much to the whole team.

Absolute highly recommend this company, Lee and the guys went out their way to make this move painless as possible for us !! Totally exceeded our expectations for being a " smaller" company!!!! They totally made up in professionalism !! Nothing was damaged, all arrived the same as it left !!

Seamless efficiency! Cannot fault them. They made the move totally stress free. My little boy was fascinated with the van and they included him in the unpacking even giving him a few pennies for his work ❤️. Really friendly, professional and everything safely packed and unpacked. Very competitive pricing to top it off. Would 100% recommend!
