John DJ’d at our wedding reception last night and I couldn’t run here fast enough to write a review.

From the minute I made an enquiry with John I felt reassured that I’d made the right choice of DJ. He was quick to respond, professional and tbh just really cool. The portal to upload songs and requests made the whole experience so much better as we knew we could easily let John know what music genres we wanted.

On the night…
Where do we even start?! 🤌🏼 John was ABSOLUTELY unreal. From the second he started playing, my husband and I looked at each other with that knowing look of “this is about to be 🔥”. We didn’t want a traditional cheesy wedding disco. We wanted a r&b/hip hop heavy set, with a few classics thrown in. The dance floor was packed and it genuinely didn’t empty all night.

He completely understood the vibe we wanted and somehow managed to play every song that had everyone screaming, singing and throwing themselves around the dance floor 😂 The atmosphere was INSANE and so many of our guests have said the DJ was one of the highlights of the whole day.

He absolutely smashed it. Great music, great energy and just the perfect person to have behind the decks for our wedding.

If you’re debating whether to book him… DO IT. It’s not surprising he gets booked up with back to back events We honestly couldn’t recommend him enough.

10/10. Would get married again just to have that party back. 😂

Absolutely fantastic experience with John, very professional throughout even when there was a lot going on with the setting up he was very helpful and very professional throughout.
Was super fast and responsive throughout the booking process.

The Mrs & Mrs signs were perfect and added a great touch to our marquee.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Southwest Discos Direct enough! John was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and made the whole process so easy.

He was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all of our requests, and even helped us with booking a Photo Booth, which was such a great addition to our wedding. The online portal for requesting songs was really easy to use and meant we could make sure all of our favourites were included.

On the day, his set-up looked incredibly professional and, most importantly, he had people on the dance floor all night! The music was perfect and created such a brilliant atmosphere for our wedding at The Barn at Upcote.

Thank you so much for helping make our wedding so special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or event!

We couldn’t have been happier with John as our wedding DJ. He was fantastic from start to finish, making the whole process easy, loved the ability to add songs we wanted and didn’t want to the playlist prior to the day. Everyone has been raving about the playlist that catered to all ages and kept the dance floor busy all evening, even during a 33 degree heatwave. John from the get go was swift with his responses and putting my mind at ease with all my questions! The portal allowed us to pick all our must haves and do not plays, he also allowed me and my girls to live out our karaoke dream! We would recommend John again and again for a wedding!!

John could not have been more helpful. on the lead up to the wedding he would respond to queries quickly and was happy to answer any questions. On the day everything was provided as promised and the service received was excellent. we highly recommend John and his company to anyone.

John delivered excellent service, coming the day before to set up our flower wall so we had it all day and also brought some props along to use with it! Having a portal to add our favourite songs onto before the wedding was the best thing ever even giving guests the chance to do so too if they wished! John kept the vibe going all evening which was lovely to see a dance floor full of our guests celebrating with us! We couldn't thank John enough for his service and would definitely recommend using him for your wedding celebrations.

Southwest Discos were absolutely fantastic, we barely noticed him setting up it was so quick and quiet, the music all night was perfect and being able to send in requests made everything so personal, we had so many compliments! We also hired the photo pod which was such a fun touch with tones of props, which made their way onto the dance floor too hahaha, receiving the link to the photos the day after helped the fun continue, we couldnt recommend him more!

ohn did our wedding disco at Waters Edge in Ewen and I would highly recommend. Communication was great when I was booking and when I wanted to add the rustic letters at a later date it was no problem and he replied quickly.
Disco on the evening was great, guests were able to request music and the music was just what we wanted. A very trustworthy company. Thank you

John was amazing, great communication before the wedding, he was so accomodating and friendly, his set up was swift, and he played the best (non cheesy tracks). His extras are so worth it and great value. We'd highly recommend him ☺️

We loved having John as our wedding DJ, he perfectly captured the vibe we wanted, and transitioned seamlessly between moments throughout the night. Our guests commented on how cool the music was! Highly recommend :)

We couldn't be happier with the service we received. John was super helpful from the first contact. Having been to our venue before he was happy to advise what was best and sent pictures so we could see exactly what we would be getting and how it would look in the space. The communication was excellent, all emails were responded too really quickly and the customer portal made everything really straight forward. John upgraded our confetti canons for us from hand to electric ones and these were fantastic. We didn't want to ask for too many song choices so let John know our preferred genres and left him too it. The music choices were excellent all night. He read the room so well and if the dance floor went a little quiet he was on it straight away playing tracks that filled it up again. We had so many compliments on how excellent he was! I honestly can't recommend John enough. Probably the best DJ of any event I've ever been too. I'll definitely be passing his details on to any future brides.

We cannot thank you enough for our special day on the 19th December! It was everything we could of imagined and more... reading only the reviews online about yourself and taking a leap of faith having never met... I am glad we did❤️.

The set up was amazing, took us by surprise with all the lights and how amazing the speakers were.
The love letters we hired stayed with us for the day and were a lovely added feature throughout the day!

We only wish we had another wedding to invite you too! However we will be sure to have you back for parties, future events!.
