I purchased a 3 year VPS from SSD Nodes.

When I have a question, I look at the detailed documentation. If the answer is not in the documentation, I submit a new support ticket.

Once I have submitted a support ticket, I get a response from an actual person at SSD Nodes in less then 30 mins. This is the best customer service I have recieved from a company!

So I was very skeptical about SSD Nodes the first time I saw the website. The prices seemed *really* good, especially if you went for a three year contract. Like, for just *that* much, I could have a 32GB, 8-core machine? It's a lot up-front, but wow, that's cheap across a three-year period! And I knew at least one person that vouched for them, despite the fact that I heard multiple people say in reviews that they ran into problems. I figured, "I won't run into problems, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt!"

So I threw a lot more money into this than I wish to share, especially given the star rating of this review. The first few months were a dream, it was everything I thought it'd be. I ran all of my stuff just fine. Everything seemed to work perfectly. And then, one day, I couldn't access my server anymore. It wasn't because it was suspended or down or anything, it just... suddenly couldn't handle the load it had been able to handle up until that point.

I rebooted it, I turned everything off that I was using and it seemed... functional. But something felt wrong. It felt like it was a lot more sluggish than I ever recall it being. I reset the server to a fresh, new OS, then ran a benchmark on it and it was far, far slower than it was the last time I ran the benchmark. I contacted support and they insisted that the server was not being throttled, and when I pressed, they insisted that there was no issue with my server, no hardware problems, no abusive programs running, and that it was functioning the way it was supposed to and had plenty of resources available.

So I figured I'd live with this disparity in their words and my experience. I'd use this server sparingly, for long-term stuff that didn't really need any resources, period, because I knew it wouldn't be able to handle it. I got at least one service up and running on it, so I figured maybe things would be OK and I could at least somewhat get my money's worth. But then, I just woke up this morning and the server was randomly shut off. No attempt to restart on its own, no attempt to reach out to me and go "hey, the server was shut off"... This broke something in me. I'm... I'm just... I'm done. (Edit 1: A day later and it shut off again. Still no warning. It seems like this is going to be a constant thing until I just completely give up using this server. I put in a support ticket, let's see what reason they'll have to disregard it...)

This reminds me of a time I used another virtual machine hosted by another company a good few years back, one that had *extremely* cheap monthly cost hosts but had constant issues, and when I asked "hey, what gives" they told me something to the effect of "you got what you paid for." I vowed never to use that company again. Now I've thrown a ton of money into this server, with this company, but over a three year period, it's a very small amount monthly. And I'm getting what I paid for.

My experience with SSD Nodes is certainly not a polished experience. The performance of the server, past those first few months, were not the kind of performance I would expect from even a cheaper, smaller virtual machine, let alone an 8 core, 32 GB one.

I gave them more chances than I should've. I should've stopped when I realized that their deals on servers basically run perpetually. I should've stopped when I read the reviews. I should've stopped when I realized that I didn't even know the person that vouched for them all that well. But I didn't, and now I have a slow server that I paid way too much for, for the next two and a half years, that I can't even guarantee reliability from.

If you're reading this review and you're looking at those prices and thinking "maybe I should", a word of advice: RUN, don't walk, away.

Everything works quite well, the servers and the price is super affordable for such a VPS. Customer support is fast and effective. I recommend them 100%.

Worst vps service I ever used.
I've got a vps with 4 vcores and 32gb ram but it can't handle a couple of wordpress site with virtually no traffic. Time to first byte it's like 2 seconds...

Everything is working well.
Good choice of server locations and pricing is super affordable for a VPS.
Customer support is fast and relevant.

This is my second time in this month were servers are down and they just said sorry for the inconvenient, very frustrating, there is no phone support.
How come they keep having DNS problems over and over very but very disappointing service ;(

Good Service.
First I was on a very slow node instance.
I opened a ticket (fast support ! ) , their migrat (delete + re-create) my VM, after that their is no performance problem.
So good service, good price, very good support.

We have all looked for the good stuff and good support when I need it. SDD Nodes gives you just that. Not to forget a good price. Now, something I would also like to start supporting in the future is a be able to get multiple IP addresses for the server.
So far, what they have promised they delivered.

I have been an SSD Nodes customer for over a year now and found that the performance level of their VPS's are bellow average.

The first thing to note is that the VPS user interface is very restrictive - in that customers cannot simply spin-up a VPS at their own leisure, such as with providers like, Amazon, Digital Ocean or Vultr

The second thing to note in the aspect of user control panel, is that some of the used control features require that a service ticket be created in order to change or setup properly - which is time both consuming and and creating undue delays in productivity.

On the aspect of performance, this is where SSD Node pales in comparison to the competition - to which I'd add, the website makes use of various competitive performance metrics in order to promote their own services, and of which the CPU and memory are terribly misleading - in fact, I would go as far as to say, that the claims made on their site with respect to competitive comparisons on the CPU and memory side, are completely false.

In continuing, it has been my observation that the CPU and memory aspects of the SSD Nodes VPS's are very misleading, in that the CPU slices are highly oversold or overloaded, and where the memory allocations are completely misleading, in that it cannot be used for caching - as the architecture used to share memory between VPS's will not retain cached data. Thus rendering all hope of added memory useless in terms of performance enhancements.

Having said all that, it has been my observation that SSD Nodes VPS's are often as slow, if not slower than many shared web hosting services - and that there are no advantages between SSD Nodes VPS over any other low-end VPS provider - and in spite of the inflated claims of resources being made.

I've had great response times from their customer support. I also have found their blog very helpful as well. I looked around when deciding on purchasing a VPS and they had the best prices. I'd recommend them any day of week.

I found ssdnodes over 3 years ago on a forum listing cheap VPS deals. I just wanted a cheap sandbox to play with, so reliability was not my primary concern. Much to my surprise the service and reliability have been exemplary, and I've ended up buying multiple instances over the years to run even critical stuff like Jira, Confluence and Bamboo for a startup I was working on. I've had to rely on support a few times, and they have always been absolutely brilliant. Recently I decided to cancel auto-renewal of one VPS and they offered to end it immediately giving me account credit for the remaining time! I could not be happier.

I've been a customer of SSD Nodes for a while and have had only good experiences. I've also canceled services and didn't get any resistance about refunds or credits to my account, so I can't empathize with the negative reviews regarding refunds and account suspensions. Perhaps paying the invoice on time and not violating the Terms of Service would be the best approach.

Most of the Jing and looked after to provide quick assistance at a cheap price. But you get excellent service and server quality that nobody can do for sure. I like and love ssdnodes.

ssdnodes.com is a fraudulent company . Even after cancelling the service they keep billing you. They try to shake you down when you question them for bad business practices . even some kid in the basement running a server will have better business ethics than these guys. Stay AWAY !

I had previously tried their service in 2018 but VPS out of North America data center was very slow in Asia. I sent them ping responses and all the details they asked but they were unable to make it better so I canceled the service within allowed 14 days.

Now after 2 years, they started VPS from Frankfurt datacenter so I wanted to give them another try due to attractive prices for 3 years; so ordered a VPS. Everything looked good until when I tried to purchase additional IP, I was told no additional IP was sold. Why would you not disclose before placing the order? Second issue, support turn-around time was very bad and no phone number to call. Third problem I faced when VPS was unaccesible, I found Console was disabled in their custom version of WHMCS. Lastly, I was not able to remove my credit card info (I know WHMCS provides this but they had it disabled). Due to these issues, I raised ticket for cancellation leveraging the 14 days refund guarantee provided. Guess what... here comes the catch of so good prices to be true... I was shocked when I was told that 14-days refund was ONLY offered to new customers. Wow... what a trap! I paid for 3 years of service ONLY with assurance that I have 14 days refund guarantee offered to try out and it was my first order in this new data center. After going back and forth for a month, finally I started dispute with credit card company but they decide din merchant's favor due to hidden terms & conditions listed somewhere on their website stated that 14-days refund only applies to first order. My bad, I should have read that and could have used different email address with new account. Any way, the worse part is not over yet... after losing the dispute, they suspended the VPS also. So now I have lost almost $300 and no server. STAY AWAY!

Terrible service. They always spamming my email with various promotions and did not deign to notify that they will bill me for another year. Once they billed me for another year, I asked support to terminate the service and issue a refund. They declined to refund and still shilling me with their servers. I asked several times to delete the account and all associated data according to GDPR policy, but they still keep data of my credit card and I will be not surprised if they charge for another year. Keep away from SSD nodes, Hetzner is much more adequate

I'm running my dev servers with them, solid company for the money. Only ipv6 is missing for me.

I have been using SSDnodes for over a year and I am very satisfied with this company. Before buying I did research into their CPU performance because I was concerned about sharing CPU's with other customers. I am happy to report that performance has been excellent.

I've been using SSDNodes for just over a year now. What I quite like about the host is that it's extremely cheap! While I have had some issues here and there, they are usually resolved quite quickly and especially for the price, it's 100% worth it. It gets the job done and works for me, 4 stars for me!

Had my doubts at first that at those dirt cheap prices this would be too good to be true, however after several months of using production servers on SSD Nodes im satisfied with both speed and uptime and service support they are providing although TBH the first server a got first 2 weeks was plagued with a few problems but after they sorted it out it has been smooth sailing with all 5 servers I have for several months now.
