Decent Price but the new content isn't for me

They use to have decent content and good exclusive content. I have had none to very minor issues with the service as far as streaming and finding what I wanted to watch (if available). My issue that caused me to cancel is it seems to have lean so far that is it a lot like BET and pushing specific race centered content. That part is fine, it is a business that made choices. Problem is the content isn't very good and they are betting the house on it. Those that like the content, good on you and enjoy. Personally I'll spend the few $$ on a different app like Paramount, Apple TV, etc. where the algorithms show content I actually might like and not ordered by race.

The $5/3 month deal is a scam. They trick you into thinking your getting everything but you're not. So basically they take your money and then want you to extra $10 to $15 dollars after that. How are these practices even legal. STR up bullshit tactics

IF YOU NEED ANYTHING REPLACING DUE TO A FAULT DON'T BOTHER TRYING
THEY OFFERED A REPLACEMENT BECAUSE THE PRODUCT I ORDERED WAS DAMAGED ON RECEIPT.
OVER 3 MONTHS LATER I AM STILL WAITING
THERE HAVE BEEN OVER 60 MESSAGES BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS .
THEY HAVE TOLD ME ON 5 OCCASIONS THAT THE REPLACEMENT THAT THEY SAY THEY HAVE SENT HAS BEEN "LOST IN TRANSIT"
IT SEEMS TO ME THEY HAVE A STANDARD LIST OF EXCUSES TO SEND BUT CANNOT REMEMBER WHICH ONES THEY HAVE ALREADY USED AS THEY HAVE SENT THE SAME ONE (WORD FOR WORD) SEVERAL TIMES
I HAVE ALSO CONTACTED ONBUY ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND THEY SAY THEY WILL DO WHAT THEY CAN TO HELP BUT THE NET RESULT HAS BEEN ZERO

“Playback Issues” all of a sudden

The $24 promotion is a setup. All of a sudden there is “playback issues” it wasn’t doing that with any other promotional offers I have used. Last straw type of day today. Thanks Starz I just wanted to watch Tv and forget how toxic the world is for a few hours ugh!

I can't get them to cancel my subscription. Starz told me to get through Google and Google said that can't find my account but can take money from it every month.

If you use a streaming service. Use someone else!

What happened to Starz

What happened to Starz? Used to have great selection of old and new movies. Now seems to cater to mostly a black audience. Added my membership based on previous service, truly disappointed with current selection.

They only cater to a certain race and will not give refunds. Racist company. Update; they gave me a one time courtesy and refunded my money. I still think they’re a racist company you Google starz and it says that this is the race that they are targeting..

Too much buffering

Every time I subscribe to Starz I can't watch anything because it's constantly buffering.
I've resubscribed at least five times now. It's a waste of my money.

Not tonmany movies...you repit movies to make it look like there is alot ..so ridiculous...i regretted paid for 6 month...i dont even open the app...tubi and other free apps have even more movies...i so mad i wasted my money...

My sister flew in from New Zealand to…

My sister flew in from New Zealand to take care of me after my mastectomy surgery. The first series that I wanted her to watch with me since she had never seen it was "The Pillars of the Earth". I found it on Starz and rented both season 1 and 2 for $3.99 each but we were never able to see it fully due to that fact that "a something went wrong" kept coming up on the screen. I clicked on that and it prompted me to click resume which I did and then one minute later that sign would come up again. We perservered for so long, going back and forth, totally missing the whole story. We thought it was a streaming issue, but we had rented both so there should not have been a problem, but, we kept perservering just grabbing little snipbits of the movie. Obviously I am very upset at this point, even after going fast forward all the way and then going backwards to start over, only to have that sign come up again. Needless to say we are soooo pissed off with Starz - will never subscribe again.

Starz is full of shit the 3 month promotion for 2.99 + Tax. The promotion appeared on my Roku TV so I sign up for it March 15, 2025. Starz tried to take a payment for my bank account today while I was at work lucky I my bank card was lock so I called them and customer service tells me he see that I have a subscription but it's every month not for three months. I told him he was wrong and I have my bank statement and I will send it to them. He states don't bother it's just 3.00 dollars u can pay that every month...These promotion Starz Optimum and Prime is doing is a host it's a game they r playing so u can sign up for their BS and they can take it for your account without notice. Starz needs to be boycotted and shut down like Targets and I'm going to start the boycott on social media because they r greedy embezzlement liar. Starz TV you will be added to the boycott list.

Customer Support wont help

Contacted support with proof with the email and my cash app that they took 10.99 out of my acct. It was done by mistake by my special needs daughter and they wouldn't refund me basically told me it wasn't their problem and to contact Google Play store. Any other place would of done the refund but nope not them.

It is absolute garbage. I tried watching three shows shut all of them down. I don’t know what you’re thinking or how you think you can charge people for that crap but I can watch better on YouTube for free or even TikTok for free. Your content is garbage.

I purchased a year subscription in…

I purchased a year subscription in January it is march and they charged me $50 for a 6 month subscription, it was all a scam, during the holidays they put out the scam to purchase a year for $2 a month if you purchased the full year, I did that and now they stole $50 for 6 months.

Cant even get a password reset

Cant even get a password reset. Emailed them, chatted them, called them (was told at 30 mins, I reached the maximum hold time) and they finally emailed me 3 days later a link to the website where the password wasn’t sending me a reset initially. Couldn’t just manually send me a password reset? No wonder they want $3 a month, I’m not sure they could give me free service at this point.
