I have used a number of services from Stephen Rimmer LLP during the past year, including probate, Wills, and for moving house. I have always found them to be very helpful, sensitive and informative when dealing with my affairs. Especially during difficult times like probate, when grief is still so much apart of life. They were also very professional during Covid and made sure it was still business as usual. An overall thoroughly good service, and I now firmly consider them as my family Solicitors.

We had 2 matters dealt with by them , a flat purchase and a flat sale . Both were appalling experiences . They never bothered to phone or mail without my constantly chasing them . Then they got the completion statements wrong several times . They’re not cheap either.

I was always told someone was away or unavailable and the matter Was being dealt with by someone else . The assistants seemed thorough enough but changed all the time. On a separate occasion my son booked in about a court matter , drove all the way from london , only to be told there was a conflict of interest .
Our matters were dealt with by Steven Judge and Noel Martin .

I had to deliver some papers on one occasion , whilst waiting the receptionist told me at length how she hadn’t been vaccinated and it was all a conspiracy . She said anyone vaccinating their kids, including her sister were child abusers . Really? Hardly appropriate

Stephen Rimmer (Joe Richardson) was excellent, he dealt with my mums probate not only efficiently and quickly, but with kindness too at a difficult time. Also used Stephen Rimmer for the sale of my mums house. Both services were exemplary, as well as very competitively priced. Highly recommended.

First rate service - always above and beyond the call of duty. We've used Jack Prosser on several property purchases and sales over the years but this recent one has been a total nightmare, navigating between an unmotivated seller, the Inland revenue and 3 changes of solicitor from the seller and yet still he managed to complete on the deadline.

My husband and I have had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with this firm for the sale and purchase of a house recently, and I must say they have been the most unprofessional, professional services company I have ever dealt with. We have found them to be vague, sometimes only getting three or four word responses to our emails, I have been laughed at and mocked down the phone by Leta Kerin on one occasion which I find unbelievably rude when we are paying for a service. I never wanted to use this firm yet my husband wanted to save money, he learnt the hard way that you get what you pay for. Using this firm you get rude, slow and vague responses to your queries, they have no manners and lack basic communication skills. I can't wait for us to be able to close the book and move on from this awful experience of using this firm. Unfortunately were are not quite there yet!
