Replacement cabinet promised but not delivered

Rang 01.04.2026 regarding a problem we are having with the Stratco 2 door titanium cabinet and was requested by the Stratco Customer Service Officer to support this phone call by email and to attach photos, which was provided the same day.
Email received from Stratco Customer Centre Service Officer on 17.04.2026:
“I do apologise that it has taken so long to get back to you, they do have 2 in stock at the Bunbury store we can have this delivered to you…
… I will organise for the new cabinet to be sent out to you.”
Email received from the same Stratco Customer Centre Service Officer on 29.04.2026:
“I have reached out to the store to get this sorted as quickly as possible, I apologise this has taken so long to get sorted but we are having the team work on it and to contact you with confirmation of the delivery”.

Rang the Stratco Customer Service Centre and left a message, 01.05.2026, for the Bunbury Store to contact me regarding the delivery and no-one has returned my call.

I have emails stating Stratco’s willingness to replace the faulty cabinet and we would appreciate if the Bunbury WA store would arrange for a replacement cabinet to be delivered.

Store being refurbished

Yesterday, I purchased fencing rails at the Kadina store. As the store is undergoing refurbishing many items were not in their usual place. The first customer service chap (no name mentioned) was not helpful at all. However, Deiter spotted me wandering around confused and helped me out to no end, the purchase was completed quickly and efficiently.

Excellent customer service from…

Excellent customer service from Stratco. This included being able to view the Umbra shed at the Dandenong store prior to purchase. Once purchased there was excellent communication, delivery was on time and we grately appreciated the skilled installation. The installation team are diligent and professional. Also - very grateful for the quick (and kind) follow-up when I misinterpreted the door closing instructions. We highly recommend purchasing from Stratco- Vic - Dandenong team.

I’ve been a customer of Stratco for…

I’ve been a customer of Stratco for over a year now, and throughout that time I’ve regularly worked with Zachary Vidal. Every experience has been consistently excellent.

Zach’s knowledge of the products is outstanding — he knows the range inside and out and always provides clear, confident advice. No matter how simple or complex the project is, he takes the time to understand what’s needed and guides you toward the best solution.

What really stands out is his problem-solving ability. When things get tricky or require a bit of creativity, Zach is always willing to think outside the box and come up with practical, effective options. His input has been incredibly helpful on several challenging projects.

On top of that, he’s always friendly, professional, and easy to approach. He communicates clearly, follows through, and genuinely cares about getting a good result. It makes the whole process smooth and stress-free every time.

It’s rare to receive this level of consistent service over such a long period. Zach has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and he’s a big reason I continue to come back to Stratco.

Walked into the Blacktown store

Walked into the Blacktown store. No other customers at time we entered seen 4 staff. Not 1 spoke to us or asked if could assist. We were hovering around the outdoor kitchens, walked towards where the outdoor unit that opens up for when kitchen in use. We went back to kitchens, back and forth a female went sat at a computer and couple guys chatting. Was in store for twenty minutes. Nobody spoke to us. I asked hubby should i ask he goes no if they cant be bothered will shop elsewhere. We left there and drove 4 minutes to Weber at ECQ and was spoken to before we actually got both feet in store. Quoted over 20k for kitchen alone as they do not do the closed unit.. but thats a loss to stratco because of lazy staff

An hour after purchasing online

An hour after purchasing online, I found I had ordered the wrong thing. Stratco were so helpful and immediately agreed to refund me as they did not have a suitable product. They even called me two days later to confirm approval for the refund. I had ordered from them before successfully so just confirmed that they are an excellent company.

HM4 Shed

I bought a HM4 shed (sliding door) and overall I'm fairly happy with it. It looks beautiful and assembly was pretty straight forward with good instructions. This was a replacement to an older (10+ year old Stratco shed) and honestly I think the metal feels less sturdy for example, as door doesn't feel secure as puling the handle bends the jamb. I solid yank would probably open it, which I'm slightly worried about. Then we come to the missing parts and one incorrect item delivery. Installation manual said drill bits were supplied, but it wasn't. To be fair, contacting Stratco they did send out the correct item and missing part fairly quickly.

Rude staff member

Our initial visit was underwhelming as we were not greeted or helped until we had walked around and found what we needed and had to then ask for help,( in an empty store with 2 staff members ) which while she was efficient enough she made us feel talked down to. Once we were advised our order was ready for pickup, my husband was ignored for 30 minutes while they unloaded their delivery truck. When he asked if he could just pick up our items he was told quite rudely by the same sales person to go and park on the street and wait for an hour until they finished unloading. He was quite upset and left, and when he returned a couple of days later, this same woman yelled out to the staff member who had offered to help him carry the items and told him not to help. This person does not belong in a customer service role.

Put up a review. Got a "cut and paste" reply like ever other negative review on here. Sent an email and l still haven't got a reply. Absolutely disgusting customer service and after sales service! Do something to resolve your issues.

No communication by Stratco of backorder

Ordered fencing planks,poles, screws etc for our fencing contractor to install a new front fence. The supplies arrive on the start day, my husband asked the delivery driver where are the screws? Oh, there on back order! Rang Stratco, yes there on back order. NO NOTIFICATION of this delay to us! If they had told us we could have transferred the start date. How do you put up a fence with no screws. We now have poles and nothing else to show for it. The contractor was booked for 3 days. Now we'll have to wait until he's finished his other booked work. In a month or two. Stratco very disappointing business.

Tried call stratco Malaga several time…

Tried call stratco Malaga several time this morning no answer, canningvale actually picked up the call and said they would get someone from Malaga to call me , nearly 4 hours later still no phone call 😑

Great Pool Pump Shed

Fast delivery. Reasonable easy to assemble for a flat pack shed. Instructions provided on assembly are step by step and are not hard to follow. Providing you have the correct tools and equipment to do the job it will take about 2 hrs. A 2nd person to help with the project is recommended.

Terrible service

Terrible service. I can't even obtain a quotation for the supply of a pergola. I lodged an on-line enquiry more than three weeks ago; and all I have received to-date is an auto response confirming they received my enquiry. Since then, I have phoned Stratco at Thornton 3 times to follow up on the quotation and all I ever hear is "I will chase it up and get back to you" I have even sent them a copy of the auto response email and still I hear nothing, not even the courtesy of a phone call or email to say they are working on it. All I hear is crickets. For god sake, it's a standard bloody pergola kit. Sorry Stratco but I certainly won't be wasting "my" valuable time to call you again

Very Poor Aftercare

When you spend over $15k on a louvre pergola and it stops working after just 3.5 years, you expect better. I raised the issue with Stratco and had to follow up multiple times over 1.5 months just to get a response.

To finally be told it wouldn’t be covered under warranty — and that I’d need to purchase not only the motor but all associated components — was incredibly disappointing. On top of that, Stratco doesn’t repair; they only replace, and the parts alone were quoted at $1,200.

Ignore the flashy brochures and advertising. Consider this experience before choosing a company with such poor customer aftercare.

The fact that it took 1.5 months to provide an answer, right in the middle of summer when the pergola is actually needed, just adds further insult.
