Terrible service. I can't even obtain a quotation for the supply of a pergola. I lodged an on-line enquiry more than three weeks ago; and all I have received to-date is an auto response confirming they received my enquiry. Since then, I have phoned Stratco at Thornton 3 times to follow up on the quotation and all I ever hear is "I will chase it up and get back to you" I have even sent them a copy of the auto response email and still I hear nothing, not even the courtesy of a phone call or email to say they are working on it. All I hear is crickets. For god sake, it's a standard bloody pergola kit. Sorry Stratco but I certainly won't be wasting "my" valuable time to call you again

My family has paid for materials and invoicing to have a roof put up over our back deck. The materials for it were delivered quite some time ago now and we even took down the old roof ourselves.
The day came for them to turn up and put the roof on. Nothing. Rescheduled and again nothing. It’s now been multiple reschedules and no shows and the materials for the roof have been sitting on the front lawn since they were delivered.
The back deck is virtually unusable now as it’s just baking in full sun all day long.
I have zero trust in Stratco now and absolutely think they should at the least provide a partial refund for screwing us around and not following through with a paid for service. I am well aware that under Australian consumer law if a company fails to provide a customer with a paid for service that customer is well within their legal rights to take legal action to recoup the costs of that service.
To anyone considering going with stratco my advice is don’t. They’ll take your money and blow you off.

Had a delivery today by Richard delivering my new roof. He went above and beyond and new his stuff. He had a tight spot and a big load. Deserves a payrise Thx Richard

Ordered some parts for my patio from Stratco Thornton and had a wonderful experience putting my order through with Taneisha. She was very helpful, friendly and even laughed at my jokes! Taneisha was able to find what I wanted, even though I bought the patio over 5 years ago. I would employ her in a heartbeat!

Great product, and a very helpful delivery man. But the administrative process post-purchase was a total mess. I received three SMSs, one after the other, stating my order was ready for collection. Only one of those was actually my order, and I had paid for delivery (as the items were much too big to fit in my car). Office staff apologised and blamed a faulty system. My order would be delivered that day, they said. Later, they called back and said it would arrive the next day. They couldn't give me any idea of delivery time because they use an external contractor. Finally the delivery man called the next day with an ETA, which he kept to, and he kindly carried the large, heavy items to where I wanted them.

I bought 2 patio heaters via click and collect. Once I got them home, I realized I only needed the one. Refund process for the 2nd one when I returned it was super easy. Great company to deal with.

The great value & quality products were eclipsed by the great friendly service.
We ordered on a Saturday And received a friendly phone call on Sunday to check that we knew that they were not open and save us doing a wasted trip.
