Edward Church of the Canterbury office having taken over from another Estate Agent managed a complicated probate estate sale. After a lack of interest in the sale as a whole he devised a 3 lot plan that has, with his patience and persistence delivered a result. His professional and courteous manner and common sense got us over the line.
We don’t normally write reviews, but in this case, my wife and I were so impressed and happy with the service provided by Strutt and Parker, and in particular by Aaron Turner, that I felt I should, in the true spirit of reviews – to offer help to those who are seeking insight into Strutt and Parker!
We selected Strutt and Parker because we liked the clear market insights and the realistic approach to marketing our house, offered by Aaron Turner at our initial meeting.
Once selected Aaron Turner was directly responsible for acting on our sale, but he did so much more, working to coordinate agents and solicitors above and below us in the chain, as well as keeping communications open and frequent with our buyers even when things went temporarily wrong in the chain.
Friendly, calm, sensible, frequent and reliable communication from Aaron – what more could be desired?
We have just exchanged contracts on a house marketed by Strutt & Parker, and Aaron Turner has been a delight to work with.
Although he was acting for the vendor, he invested more time and energy in keeping our purchase moving than our own estate agents did with our sales. He is calm, measured, experienced, and a great communicator.
When my partner’s sale fell through and we had to pull out of the chain temporarily, Aaron was constructive and realistic about the steps needed to get things moving again quickly. Today we exchanged not only on our purchase, but also on the sales of both our properties, and Aaron has kept up momentum behind the scenes by proactively contacting all parties involved.
Having experienced good, mediocre and poor estate agents in the past, Aaron — and by extension Strutt & Parker — stands out as the best we have dealt with.
