Jamie & Richard, both made my BMW experience really amazing. They had arranged some major engine works and a full service on my car and the day I was told it was ready, they had my car - washed & hoovered it and had it all ready for me. While I was drinking coffee, in the amazing customer lounge area !! ....and even the reception staff, were all very courteous and offered me, coffee, biscuits and other refreshments. Sytner Chigwell BMW are really amazing. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Last but not by anyway, least, Paul Trotter, stepped in, when I was about to make payment, and even offerred, some management discount, due to me having to wait an extra day for the completion of the works, my car needed. Five Stars to all the staff at Sytner Chigwell BMW.............Thanks for everything.

I would like to Thank you Ricki Henry for making time to book my car into repair after I told him I lived an hour away. For double checking me EGR cooler and valve which was a recall job to be working fine. I went in because I thought this was the problem throwing dpf errors and all sorts of air mass issues as they all interlink which is a nightmare.
I would like to Thank Richard for his expertise and assistance today in resolving the issue and identifying the exhaust back pressure pipe and sensor. I thought the dpf sensor and back exhaust pressure sensor was the same but for the BMW X3 F25 this is not the case. These words are used interchangeably on the internet.
I would like to Thank Reggie for doing a good job with the EGr cooler and valve recall
Overall Excellent service customer service, troubleshooting diagnostics and fixing the problem. No more forced dpf regens on the motorway and harm to the engine and dpf because of this problem
I always use google review and trust pilot to pick my preferred mechanic this is why I made my way to Loughton. This is definitely worth the journey to get reliable trustworthy good service.

Jackie was superb, she handled the case with ease. it was a seamless process so far. The quote for the damage, hire of the courtesy car, the repair and the fast turn around, and finish off the return of the vehicle and the hire car!! Wonderful service!

HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE (aside from the reception team)
The 2 ladies on reception were amazing, I felt bad that they had to deal with the poor service from the other connecting functions.
First of all, Kevin who mans the WhatsApp is rude, difficult and blunt. After attempting to replace a windscreen BMW Chigwell and BMW insurance had disjointed processes and unfortunately got caught in the middle of their battle to have things done there own way. Which resulted in Kevin calling my insurance, putting through a claim on my behalf (without my permission) so he could obtain an authorisation code. I raised a complaint around things but over 2 months later I’ve heard nothing back as expected.
2 months later, I reached back out to BMW Chigwell to get Kevin again, of course he was difficult but finally got a manager to call me back. The manager had then arranged for me to have my windscreen changed. I was asked on 3 occasions if I’d like my car to be washed and cleaned in and out, I accepted on all 3 occasions. I was asked if I wanted anything else done, I requested a quote on a few scrapes on 2 separate occasions. As expected, no car wash and none of the scrapes had been looked at.
At this point I discussed the fact that none of these had been done with the ladies at reception, they were extremely apologetic and you could see they were embarrassed. I genuinely felt sorry for them, most people would take the frustration out on them.
Over the phone they offered “express check out” labelling it pick up your keys and leave. I got there and still had to wait 10 minutes so they could find my keys and bring my car round. As soon as I got home, I got a text, requesting me to take photos of the scrapes so that they can raise an insurance claim. Hilarious.
The worst experience I have ever received from a garage. I’ll be taking the long drive to Enfield next time, never again.
