Watch out for these cowboys when buying parts online. They illegally charge a restocking fee which is not allowed for items bought online. Worse still, they promised they would issue a full refund on this occasion only for me to return them and them not issue a full refund. Dishonest, illegal practice from a BMW main dealer. Disgusting- formal complaint raised and reported to trading standards.

*Regretting My BMW 320i Purchase – Poor Quality and Even Worse Customer Service*

I purchased a BMW 320i from BMW Sytner in October, expecting premium quality and service for what will ultimately be a £40,000 investment. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of disappointing.

Right from the start, the car had *chips and pinhole defects* in the paintwork and *air bubbles on the passenger side window*. I reported these issues immediately, but over 7 weeks later, they still haven’t been resolved. The dealership has repeatedly delayed the repairs, offering to fix the chips and pins only if I drop the car off separately from the window replacement. I’ve made it clear I don’t want to go through the hassle of dropping the car off twice for issues that should’ve been addressed before delivery.

What’s most frustrating is the *complete lack of accountability and urgency*. Before the sale, the staff were incredibly attentive—constantly in touch, eager to help. But once the car was sold, that support vanished. Trying to get post-sale issues resolved feels like shouting into the void.

For a brand that prides itself on luxury and customer satisfaction, this experience has been a major letdown. I expected better from BMW and Sytner. At this point, I *regret every second* since I signed the papers. If you're considering buying from them, think twice—because once they have your money, *you’re on your own*.

Good communication and no hassle sales

The sales person was very helpful. The only negative was the garage was unable to provide a road test in the model that we were interested in buying.

I like having a dedicated member of staff to deal with me. I find the videos of the procedure reassuring. The showroom is welcoming & comfortable. I like having a waiting slot & was able to work on the show room whilst waiting for my car to be ready.

Not a good as when the dealership was Specialist Cars . They don’t seem to be able to keep their sales staff so had several managers and salespeople and it lacks that caring feel . Bodyshop still excellent but it’s the same staff . Service area has improved recently . But unless sales improves I may move on after 25 years of buying cars from the same BMW dealership

Effective and efficient and friendly

I purchased my first BMW from Sytner Stevenage in 2023. The sales experience was excellent as was the subsequent service experience. So when it was time to get another BMW just over a week ago, I did not hesitate to go back to the same dealership. I was looked after from start to finish by the lovely Jason. I was quite indecisive about which model to go for, the colour and options and asked Jason many questions. He was incredibly patient and provided me with all the information I needed, and most importantly listened as I worked things out during the process. Not once did he apply any pressure or mention costs, his only concern was getting me into the right car for me. He helped me work through my questions and then find the right car for me. I went for a nearly new 1 Series in Thundernight metallic purple. I cannot fault Jasons professional service or the smooth process of arranging BMW finance. The treatment offered to me at all times by Sytner BMW Stevenage has been excellent. If you are looking for a BMW you will not go wrong in reaching out to this dealership and asking Jason's advice. When the time comes to replace this car I won't hesitate to go back to them. Thank you for a hassle free experience once again.

I highly recommend Jason Ungaro. He made me and my wife feel really comfortable. he was great at his job, listened to what we wanted and delivered. We had a budget and he helped us keep to it rather than trying to go above it unlike other dealers we visited.
