I have been very pleased with the speed and efficiency of putting my property on the market. I was advised in adequate time of the viewings and after each I was contacted to tell me of the outcome. I have now had a written offer and so far everything is in place. I trust that I will get the same advice and help through the onward sale process. My Estate agent Katherine is always on hand and most helpful.

Tailormade Moves have been very good in communication. They are prompt in responding to request for property viewing. On viewing day they allow you to check whatever you want to and they answer all your questions. I would recommend Tailormade to anyone.

We met Louise while viewing another property and from then we knew she was going to be the lady to sell our house. She was very professional, contactable around the clock and willing to work unsociable hours for viewings if required. Louise worked with us to get our house on the market as soon as possible so we could put offer in on house we had seen. She ensured pictures were taken promptly and they were uploaded to the website within a few days. We were very lucky to have our house put on the market on the Tuesday and offer accepted by Friday. Louise then helped guide us through the process of purchasing new house. We can’t thank you enough for all the help you gave us and would recommend Tailormade Move to a friend.

We instructed Tailor Made Moves to sell our home late last year while we had a reservation on a new-build property with a strict deadline attached. The purchase depended entirely on achieving a sale within a defined timeframe. This was explained clearly from the outset and the agent indicated they were confident working within that timeframe. Concerns about the practicality of the deadline were only raised much later.

There were some positives. Communication was generally courteous and viewings were arranged once interest emerged.

However, the early stages were slow. We waited around a month for the first viewing and during that period no alternative strategy, pricing adjustment or marketing change was proposed. In a sale where timing was critical, that lack of early momentum was significant.

There were also practical issues at the point of launch. We had to prompt both the installation of the sale board and the property being listed online. Photography required two rounds after an initial set appeared rushed, and the final images were not of a strong standard, which may have affected how the property was presented.

More broadly, the process was reactive rather than proactive. Periods of limited activity were not accompanied by a clear or structured plan to generate momentum. When feedback from viewings raised questions about the condition of the property, we made clear we were willing to act, but were advised that no changes were necessary and this did not develop into a defined strategy. Pricing and marketing decisions were taken in line with the advice provided.

In the final week before our onward purchase was withdrawn, there was no change in approach despite the known deadline. Given how critical that stage was, we had expected some form of escalation or renewed effort to engage potential buyers.

When we raised concerns, the response from the office felt defensive, with points challenged before there had been an opportunity to fully clarify the issues.

Given the clear time pressures attached to our onward purchase, a more proactive and structured approach was required.

For sellers working to a deadline or dependent purchase, it would be important to ask in advance how strategy will adapt if activity is slow, what specific interventions will be made, and how momentum will be maintained.

Rachel and others at Tailormade moves went out of their way to find us a rental property. There were adaptable to our needs and always friendly. An extremely professional service, they appear to be a tight knit team and we are so pleased with our new place and the support we continue to receive. Would definitely recommend.

During the process of my partner and I buying our first home we had Travis assisting us which made the whole experience effortless.
