Nice place to visit with kids. Bowling was good, reasonable price for Manchester City Centre. Other games were good mainly cashless, normally £1 per game.

Bowling good - Food Dickinsonesque
Had a good experience- The person booking us in dealt with us adequately and efficiently. however feel a little cheated on drinks and portion size of food. Food was quite tasty for what it was, Just could have done with a more honest portion in my opinion bearing in mind the price we paid.

Delays
Booked for 5 pm but when I arrived was told that there was a delay and I would have to wait until 530. Was told there was seating downstairs where we could wait. There wasn't. Stood near the end of the lane we had been assigned to expecting that the people on this lane were just finishing up but they advised me that they had only just started. I asked to speak to a manager and was then given a different lane so we could play. The people on the lane next to us took all of the bowling balls and lined them up on their seating area, leaving only one XL ball for my 5yo to use. Couldn't find a frame for my son to use. Staff didn't seem very friendly or helpful. Have been to Harpurhey before and had a much better experience.

Avoid at all costs
Really disappointed with the way we were treated at Tenpin Bowling Manchester Printworks. We’ve been regulars for a long time, often visiting both this branch and the one in Harpurhey. Never had an issue before — until now.
One of us had ID, the others have shown ID plenty of times in the past, yet suddenly it wasn’t enough. The security guard was completely unreasonable and refused to let us in, despite us explaining we've been here many times.
What really shocked us was that shortly after, another group showed up — not everyone had ID, but they were let in without any problem. The only noticeable difference was that they shared the same background as the guard. It felt like we were being treated differently because we’re Jewish, and when we calmly pointed out the inconsistency, the guard got defensive and dismissive.
This kind of biased treatment is unacceptable. We came for a fun night out and left feeling judged and unfairly targeted. Not how any customer should be made to feel.
Will seriously think twice before coming back.
