Tep Wireless Opiniões 

Recently purchased a 4G TEPPY device to use for our trip in Italy. The device worked pretty well although occasionally was slow to connect. The one request I'd love to make is a upgraded web portal. Three times in 10 days the data was blown through early on and theres no way to check what used it up (many phone settings trigger limiters off of cell service but they consider the TEP usage to be wifi). One morning we arrived in Venice after an hour drive and 1GB was gone by 11am. We had already turned off every auto-update would could think of on the phones. There's a setting within the web portal thats supposed to block large uses of data but it seems to get reset frequently. After the 1gb of 4G is used up the device switches to 3G which doesn't have sufficient coverage or speed most of the time. Even at 7.95/day for 1Gb at 4G speed is a bit expensive - unlimited is more of an emergency safety net for minimal use when it switches to 3G speed/coverage. It would also be nice for there to be some method of confirmation if you'd like to start a new day of data rather than if it detects the device is on, it just starts the ticcer. Anyhow we were pretty satisfied overall but there's room for improvement.

I went to South Korea with a Teppy 4G. The service immediately worked after switching on my device upon landing in Incheon Airport. The connection was spotless and seamless, simply amazing. I could not imagine how I could have been able to navigate Seoul without my Teppy! The Tep concierge was very useful and helpful, too! I will definitely use your service again and again whenever I travel.

Horrible customer service! My Tep device stopped working properly after the first 2 days. I chatted with, Ben, one of their customer service agents that refuse to believe me that the unit was no longer functioning properly and to send me a replacement for the rest of the trip. He argued with me through the chat and ultimately refused to send out a replacement unit or refund me. I had to resort to contacting my CC company to contest the charges and expect s full refund from them. This is a deceptive company who’s had many other complaints from other review sites other then their own as they don’t post the really bad reviews. They didn’t post mine and I sure many others. Stay away from this company and rent from some other! I expect a false response from the company as others have reviewed but it’s all fake!

I can leave no star if I would! I placed an order one month before my travel date. Yet they waited until the very last minute to ship out my order, and they finally shipped out my package on the Wednesday before July 4th and it was after I called them! The package was couriered via UPS and was delivered to a UPS access point on Friday. AND THIS ACCESS POINT DONT OPEN TILL MONDAY! MY FLIGHT LEAVES ON SUNDAY! There is no way I can get my package and my service for my trip. It’s not UPS’s fault. It’s totally their fault waited until the last minute to ship your package via next day air. Jesus, not everybody will be there just waiting for package the day before travel!!!! We have a life and we work!!!!

I rented a wireless wifi to use in europe.As i arrived in italy i call because the machine did not work ,after talking to CS they said they can not doi anything and they can not provide a new machine fast enough beacause i was going to leave by car in 2 days.Today i am back in miami and the machine was sent 2 days ago back to Tep.They treate me like i was lying and that they have to check the usage without reading the logs of the calls.Also i placed a review in their website and they deleted the review

It's compact and the battery lasts for almost 12 hours. I really love their customer service! Before I rented I asked a lot of stupid questions and the support responded patiently.
After I received the device, I didn't know I have to long press to turn it on, so I asked their support again. And as always, they replied in a second.

This company should pay these support staff more. They are the keystones of the company.

Sometimes in life a company provides a service where it is really appreciated either by the service provided or by the money saved when using the service. In this case Tep provided both.

I recently travelled to Canada from Spain for my wedding and honeymoon. I live in Spain and my mobile provider (movistar) quoted me 12€ (£10) per mb !!! For data and 5€ to connect a call. In fact upon my return I received my bill with a 30€ surcharge for the sms messages to tell me about roaming costs.

Regardless I needed to find an alternative and following much online searching I found Tep. Looking at the website, the feedback I decided they were the company for me. The customer service was fast, accurate and helpful.

The Tep arrived 48hrs before I departed from Spain to Canada and the instructions were delightfully simple..... turn it on.... wait a minute and connect.

Other than when we were caught in a freak snow storm on the icefield parkway between Jasper and Banff where there was no mobile or 3G/4g signal it proved a godsend to us. Always in our back pack, never running out of juice it was great and most importantly of all saved us a fortune in one of the most expensive internet countries on the planet.

Will I use again... of course.

A word or advice..... I am an Apple person. Using iCloud and google photos. Turn off the auto sync of photos if you take as many pictures as we did as you will use your 1g or 2g allowance. We turned off auto backup when we realised how much data this uses and backed up when we got home. We also used a backup pen drive just to be sure. In 2 days I used 1.89gb, so work out what that would have cost a 12€ per mb.

Took this with me when travelling with my now fiance. Super useful to get around and thanks to Tep for allowing me to share the photos of the big moment with my family once it happened!

IMPORTANT: TEP solicited a review and I wrote and accurate negative review. After verifying my email THEY DELETED IT. Do not trust the reviews on TEP's website.

(Edit: My review is now up with other TEP reviews. After I originally wrote it, I could not find my one-star review, or any other recent one stars. Going through 10 pages of reviews, with the exception of mine there are no other one stars - the lowest is 3)

We had extremely slow / unusable service in Europe. The data speed was much less than our very expensive cellular data. Contacted customer service several times and their suggestions to reboot the device or "the network is slow and try later" did not help.

We wound up paying expensive rent for a useless TEP service on top of expensive cellular data.

Buyer beware

We have just returned from a holiday in Japan and the Tep device worked everywhere we went. We used it to navigate to really out-of-the way places and had connectivity everywhere. We just had a rental unit but will go ahead and buy a Teppy ready for our next trip.

I have been using Tep Wireless for 3 years when traveling the world. I am a blogger / digital nomad that works while traveling the world. My greatest struggle used to be finding reliable and secure WiFi. I found Tep through a quick Google search and now can't imagine traveling without my Tep. I have the Tep 4G global device that seamlessly connects me to networks throughout the world. Tep has wonderful customer service. Each time I rent a device, I receive a Tep packet with Tep, a charger, adapter, luggage tag, and carry case. Tep also includes a prepaid shipping label to send the device back when I return home. I'm currently spending the summer through Europe, hopping countries and Tep has worked everywhere I have traveled! It connects quickly and provides me with internet great speeds. It has been a total game-charger for this travel guru! Especially as a solo female travel, staying connect is super important for safety. Tep has never failed me! Thank you so much for such an amazing product! Don't travel without your Teppy! I'm so happy with the product!

I used Tep for the first time 4 years ago I had a glitch where the device needed to be reset after losing service. That was ok, I understand.
The I purchased one of their devices and for 3 years when on vacation for 15-21 days I have been without service several days each time. Although I paid for their service in advance and did not get that service Tep did nothing or offered me nothing.
Without WiFi you can’t communicate with Tep abroad and the whole purpose of having this service if to have WiFi when you need it.

Great product! I travelled around Asia, and it worked well everywhere. It saved me a lot of hassle with buying local SIM cards in every country. Just pressed one button, and I was connected within minutes of arriving in a new country. The customer service is also great, they replied quick to my queries (within minutes on messenger)!

Tep have been a great partner to work with.

Very flexible service, and very prompt communcation.

Wifi can be sketchy, but definitely a great device, and I would recommend!

We have used Tep through our travels around Iceland and France and we found the device to be very helpful even in the remotest corners of the world. It's a small device which can be carried in your pocket and charges quickly. During our France trip, we were travelling with family and on one Tep Wireless device multiple phones were connected and accessing internet. My mom was even able to speak with her mom from a small village in Alsace and at first it took us all by surprise because she didn't have internet roaming on her cell phone. Later we realised that her phone was connected to Tep Wireless. It's probably one of her fondest memories.
I highly recommend this device for any traveler.

We’ve rented a Tep unit for past trips, and did so again for a recent trip to Denmark & Norway. The unit performed capably in both countries, and even during a brief stopover in Amsterdam. Even though it’s increasingly common to find free hotel and public wi-fi and sat-nav functionality standard in rental vehicles, we found that having the Tep unit was quite handy for our family while in on the move — in cars, planes, ferry boats, hiking, in small cafes, etc.

And the Tep folks were friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. The Tep unit arrived at our home in the mail, as promised, on time for our trip. And it came with a pre-paid mailing envelope, so returning it to Tep was very simple — you just drop it in the mail.

All told, we had a good experience with Tep, and can recommend it unreservedly.
