The email is not from TheBSBCo

It is interesting that people have received the same email as me. This is not from he real thebsbco. The contact email address in the email is slightly different (extra s added), and the payment site is nothing like the one offered on the real website. The email is a very elaborate scam, do not pay.

Also had a threat of a CCJ - saying basically we will ruin you for 6 years unless you pay. This is for utility point that goes back years. I maintain I paid and spoke to them about this. I said that Utility point, would have not let me move if there was an outstanding debt.

I have never had any outstanding debts in my life.

I said fine if they can prove I owe ie statements and meter readings and payments made them fine but they can not prove. I say I don't owe please prove it. They can not but still pursue with threats at one time daily texts, emails etc.

I have sent them a invoice now for my time for £175.00 and will pursue in courts in they don't pay.

They are bullies and a lot of people who are not sure would pay in hope of it going away and that is there modus operandi

Basically another corporate scam

Keep chasing me up and threatening about money I owe Igloo energy (who actually owed me money). funny thing is I also naively paid them this the other year. It seems they ignored that and kept the case open so they can continue to harass and threaten me.
Don't pay them! They'll just still say you haven't.

Awful threats coming from this company

Awful threats coming from this company. Demanding £4500 from our so called eventful time with Together energy! We had a bill for £18000 at one point from TE, disputed it as we had a small 3 bed semi and they said it was £3500. Took them to the ombudsman who fought for us and an agreed £1500, paid straight away and transferred to OE. OE said we had to clear our TE dept before they would take on our account, so know we owe NOTHING! 2 years after they've gone bust this awful BSB Co threaten us with bailiffs and court! Money we don't owe!!! We all need help getting them off our backs. Just hope the elderly and vulnerable don't pay them! Shocking behaviour!

UTTER SHAMBLES AND DISGUSTING BEHAVIOURLeft Together Energy in 2021 because…

Left Together Energy in 2021 because they never sent me a bill and the Ombudsman awarded compensation of £75 because of lack of customer service. Gave meter readings every month and TE told me I owed nothing but still did not send a bill. I paid to the end by Direct Debit. Eighteen months later I received a final notice threatening bailiffs if I did not pay £836.51. Never received a final bill until I asked for it nearly 2 years after I left. Gave proof last October that I owed nothing and heard nothing more until 6 January from BSB threatening bailiffs if I did not pay it in three days. Emails back and forth for the last few weeks and BSB still say I owe this money. Have now found out energy and financial Ombudsman can't do anything about it. Have now complained to their so called customer service as the FRP advisory have now finished business with TE. Where does this leave the dozens of customers being harassed continually for years?

Join the Facebook ‘Together Energy Facebookgroup’

Join the Facebook group, ‘together energy customer support group’ for advice on the BSB clown show, always dispute what they say you owe in an email, they won’t hand your case to a dept collecting agent, they need to go to court for that to happen and to go to court they need billing evidence which they don’t have. Don’t ignore them, dispute their allegations then tell them your happy for them to take legal proceedings… it’s on them.

Disgraceful

This company is disgusting sending threats to innocent people. I too was one of many who was pursued for a debt from Together Energy when I was actually over £700 in credit.
Took numerous emails and phone calls to sort it out wasn’t until I made a complaint through their complaints procedure that I got them off my back.
I have tried to pursue them for their behaviour through the ombudsman but as there was no REAL debt no case to answer. What a joke. It appears from the reviews that they are still continuing pursuing innocent people dispute the number of times they got it wrong.
This is on par with the Post Office Post Master scandal.
They do think that they are clever and know how to play the system. I have been advised to try the
The National debt line the number is 0808 808 4000 to see if they can investigate.
I have sent the company a bill for all the time I had to spend proving my innocence and their attitude and response was the the same as their collection services. Maybe if all of us wrongly accused call the National debt line they may investigate and seek compensation for us?

Difficult to make contact with. They don’t read any content of emails just pursue the debt

Received a letter from them claiming they’d tried to contact me many times regarding a debt with utility point. They had my name wrong, the utility point account number wrong. I know I didn’t have any debt with utility point as I kept my DD running and paid an additional payment to ensure I had zero debt when it transferred to new company. They sent a 7 day warning which conveniently arrived on the 7th day . They had my mobile wrong so I asked them to prove it was my debt, they ignored the request and said I owed £103 but if I paid it today they would reduce it by 50% which I reluctantly did. Now I’m just awaiting further emails saying I didn’t pay it. Disgusting

This could have been a one star

This could have been a one star. I was with Together Energy to which I had a dispute with them as they sent me a bill for nearly £2k, I never missed a DD with them but got slapped with this, TG then went into administration and never completed this dispute. BSB took over the debt kept sending me letters/emails to pay and I explained the situation on many occasions but no one was listening and very little response.
I disputed I owed a couple hundred but never £2k. I decided to put in a complaint due to lack of communication and not listening. I have heard back today and my case is now closed and I’ve paid £300 which is a great end result.

These people are a complete joke.
Please do not take them seriously.
Even if you provide proof of payment they will still waste your time. No one will read or reply to your emails and shortly after they will send you other letters requesting payment.

If only I could give them a zero!

I have been having issues (putting it nicely) with this company since 2019. An account was set up in my name fraudulently to which I contacted Action Fraud etc and provided details to BSBCO and I am constantly now being threatened to pay my final bill. For context, I never lived at the address which they are claiming I live at and I live with my parents who pay the utility bills. I’ve emailed previous communication and evidence but still they are telling me to pay! They don’t listen to anything you have to say! They now want more evidence of me proving I don’t live there. I asked them to confirm the name on the bank account but they conveniently ignore that along with the Action Fraud number and every other bit of information. Absolutely disgusting practices but I guess they just don’t care how many reviews they get

Threatening emails

I have received an email from this company demanding payment from an account I had with together energy over 6 yrs ago! Together energy didn’t bill me for months yet I was constantly calling them/emailed them for a bill update which I would have obviously paid! I heard nothing, now they are in administration I have this debt company chasing me with threatening emails, like sending people round to my home! I am on benefits, I get £650 a month, I don’t own anything to the value they are asking! I am very ill with end stage liver disease and been given not long to live….I’ve explained all this to them in my recent email! I also told them if they send collections to my home I will end my life as nothing to loose, I have written a letter to my children explaining this and they WILL go to the national newspapers! I’m suffering enough!

What an absolute joke of an alleged company. If you provide evidence of their alleged debt, they just change their contact that's dealing with you and start all over again. They even ignore the frp.
They try and intimidate and bully without knowing the rules. In short. Clueless, immoral, nasty and ignorant

Found this company to use bully boy…

Found this company to use bully boy tactics to scare people into paying debts , without providing evidence of debt when requested, and threatening bailiff's without court judgements, alot of ex together energy customers are experiencing same issue with them

Together Energy debt collection scam

As with June Munroe, received a non reply e mail threatening doorstep collection etc if I fail to pay £250 in 3 days, no tel or alternative means of contact.
This was sent to an old e mail account and referred to a property I vacated several months ago.
Never had any other contact regarding TE matters. As far as I am concerned I paid by DD, and again advised by BG that no outstanding monies were passed to them when they took over the account.
They appear to threaten action that is outside their legal powers, such as forced collection, seizure of goods etc
If this is true why arent they being shutdown by the FCA ?

Fake debt

Been having threatening emails for a while now saying i ow together energy £193 pound.. i have social anxiety and struggle so much speaking to people so i have been emailing over and over and getting no response .. friday i was told i have 2 days or door baliffs will come and collect my things.. even though im confused as i no i dont ow them anything i havent slept at night worrying people will come to my door.. i finally had the courage to phone them and explain that In 2021 i went to switch to together energy but i cancelled the switch and was never with them and i shouldnt have a debt with them .. all they said back was “ok they will close my account” no questions nothing just ok we will close your account? These are clearly scamming people for money because if debt was owed they would send out proof of debt and carry on trying to chase debt if its owed … but if you ask me they no the debts aren’t right and there just trying to get money out of the vulnerable people who will pay instead of question it and thats why they just close account of the people who phone to say it isnt true?

Disgusting

Reading the reviews, made me realise I'm not the only one with the problem, what makes me feel a bit better. I am also ex Together Energy's customer. They are trying to make me pay £1000+ for an outstanding bill... I had many disputes with TE as they charged me incorrectly, which I can prove as i have all the emails. It's ridiculous!!! Even British Gas themselves told me to stop making payments for TE, so I can't imagine how some made up company can make me pay this amount of money.

Another ex Together Energy customer

Another ex Together Energy customer. No problems with Together Energy. All bills paid by direct debit, final bill paid. 2 years later recieving strange looking emails with screenshots of my name and address rather than typed requesting an amount to be paid within 3 days or legal action will be taken. I ask for evidence as I have all my evidence of my final bill payment and confirmations from Together Energy, and receive another laughable email 3 month later asking for payment within 3 days before legal proceedings. I've asked them to send their "doorstep collection agents" and I will quite happily show all evidence of payments but they have not confirmed this nor sent their agents. I suspect I will receive another email in another 3 months requesting the payment be made within 3 days before legal proceedings start. Once this arrives, all the evidence I have from this unprofessional, laughable company will be sent to the FCA and Financial Ombudsman to review along with the hundreds of other reviewers I have read contacting them about fake debt.
Hopefully thebsbco will be shut down and the couple of employees they employ struggling to find any evidence of any debts, reverting to sending out generic copy and paste emails to any ex customers of Together energy, will be forced to look for a job that actually gives them a reason to live.
