Lovely, friendly atmosphere to learn or improve your decorating techniques. Very useful hints and tips provided to achieve a decorated cake which I never thought possible. Will be looking at more courses in the future.

Good clear instructions and useful booklets

Attended the Professional Wedding Cake course even though I am not a professional. We were taken through everything, step by step and furnished with detailed course notes. We all went home with very impressive cakes and oodles more confidence.
The pace was good, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions; all in all a very professional but relaxed atmosphere.

The tutorial was very detailed. Lots of tips and able to print out a hard copy for just £2.00. There were so many to choose from. I intend buying more once I’ve mastered this one. A brilliant idea and I would high,y recommend.

Had an amazing day at couture cupcakes course, teacher (Lou) explained everything whilst demonstrating techniques,most helpful. Purchased some bits moulds, boards, dust etc when I had got home from the website, almost everything was ready an waiting on my collection the next day (my choice) one thing was out of stock which Elly obtained for me a few days later , have to say nothing was too much trouble for Elly. Very happy customer who will be back for more.

Evcellent service and delivery

I attended a one day cake decorating course. It was enjoyable and I left with 6 beautiful cupcakes. A range of tools and techniques were discussed and I now hope to teach myself more about the ones I enjoyed most.

I found the site easy to use but had a question which was answer by return and they were very helpful.

Spent a really enjoyable 4 hours learning how to decorate cupcakes. Lou explained everything clearly and we had time to practice. I was coming from the 'I bake for taste not the look' school of homebaking but I was so chuffed with my creations I was sending pictures to everyone!! Will definately focus more on the look of my baking from now on.

Very helpful and accomodating with the booking. Wife and daughter due on course in November....many good things heard about it.

The cakemakery have given lots of fantastic advice and tips even before I have booked a course with them, which I intend to do.as soon as I am able, no query is ever too much trouble to answer and they respond to emails the same day. Highly recommended.

We have done 2 courses and they were both amazing. In each one we learnt new skills and the teaching was great with easy to process steps and help all the way along. The ladies were lovely, very kind and more than helpful. Thank you for the lovely days and all the help you have given us.

The course was absolutely excellent - just the right pace in order to learn loads whilst still having the confidence to do all aspects of the wedding cake. Lou’s knowledge, skills and tips were invaluable. I would very much recommend and will certainly be doing other courses at The Cake Makery myself.

Three day wedding cake course was so lovely, gutted to have finished it ! Lou was endlessly patient with me and so informative. The notes sent after the class are so helpful because you can concentrate on creating your masterpiece, rather than taking endless notes. I loved it so much and will be back for sure ! Thank you ladies !

I learned so much from this class and it hasn’t given me the confidence to experiment more with my cake baking. Louise was a great teacher and both Ellie and Lyndsey were lovely. Will hopefully be coming back for more classes!

Just completed the three day wedding cake course and loved every minute! Never thought I would be able to create such a great cake. Very proud of myself! Great people, great teacher and loads of support and cups of tea!

Excellent courses and fun atmosphere. I am soon to attend my 4th course here. Love it.
