Really happy with the service
Really happy with the service, first time I have used the Flash Centre for purchasing my professional camera lighting equipment and I was very happy overall. Product came with UPS tracked delivery and was really well packaged. The LED light panel was also at a very competitive price which is a bonus.

Do not use them, a company full of criminals
I don't even know where to begin. I bought two products from them after their website said both were in stock and would be shipped within 3-5 working days. The items were not in stock! So phone them and I found out they ship it from a wear house to them which takes few working days snd then ship it to customers which takes more time so probably a total of 10 working days. So after their website lied and been in touch with them sand hearing more lies I cancelled my order. Refused both items and guess what, one of them was lost....how in 2024 you loose an item with a tracking number....shocked. So now they are refusing to give me a refund until they fix their issue, and btw I don't have the item so basically I am paying for an item who has been returned and lost, so those criminals now are refusing to refund me the money for an item I don't have! So basically I have been emailing this criminal from Flash Center for the past MONTH and he still hasn't realised a refund for the product. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, I don't even know how they can still trade. Also they don't ship to mainland apparently, in NI so when the product arrived I was charge half of the whole price in duties and taxes even tho I live in the United Kingdom. Please police, arrest them

Thank you for your review of The Flash Centre. While it’s disappointing to receive negative feedback, I appreciate the chance to address your concerns, to see what we can learn and improve for future.
After thoroughly reviewing your order, I can see the initial communication on October 23rd unfortunately, this led to some confusion about delivery times, for which I sincerely apologise. Recognising the urgency of your order for an upcoming job, we quickly assigned it to a senior team member who clarified the situation the next morning.
In that conversation, he explained:
“The Pavoslim 120C is in stock in our warehouse and will ship today. This should be with you by Wednesday, dependent on the courier and customs. The Pavotube II 15X should arrive in stock tomorrow and can also be delivered within the 3-5 working days advertised. Again, we are dependent on the courier and customs, but we will do everything we can.”
When you asked if the delivery could be expected by the end of Tuesday, he added:
“If all goes well, EOP Tuesday.”
He further emphasised:
“Couriers never give a cast-iron guarantee on deliveries, especially with customs clearance into Northern Ireland. However, everything is leaving us on time, and I understand your frustration.”
Despite these challenges, both packages were dispatched promptly. The UPS tracking that I have emailed you privately shows one was out for delivery on October 28th and the other on October 29th—the 4th and 5th working day's respectively, and within the advertised timeframe. Unfortunately, the packages were refused upon arrival, I can only assume due to unexpected customs charges, which are outside our control.
I acknowledge your frustration, particularly with the initial miscommunication, and I sincerely apologise for that. However, after our senior team member clarified the situation, the packages were dispatched with your approval and arrived on time. You didn’t request to cancel the order before shipping, as stated in your review; if you had, we could have refunded you immediately. Since the items were already sent, we had to wait for their return to process refunds. While the first package was refunded promptly on November 1st, the second refund took longer as it was never returned to us, with UPS stating "This package has been delivered and can no longer be returned to sender". Despite this, we issued the final refund on November 20th to resolve the matter.
I hope you can also appreciate this situation has been frustrating for us too. Our team worked hard to meet your urgent needs, dispatching the items as quickly as possible to ensure you had them for your shoot. I hope you can see that our team acted in good faith.
Thank you again for your feedback. While I don’t agree with all the claims in your review, I understand they stem from disappointment. I regret this experience didn’t reflect our high standards or your expectations, and I apologise for how it concluded. I wish you success in your career and hope we can better serve you in the future.

Item showing as in stock and delivery within 3-5 days but no stock until end of December
As other reviews have mentioned the stock status is not accurate. I placed an order for a Godox V860iii flash as it was showing in stock and delivery within 3-5 days. 6 days later and no update. I chased up the order and was told the item was out of stock and delivery would be at the end of December so a 6 week wait!! Other companies would have stock early December so if I'd have known I'd have ordered elsewhere. Even though the item was out of stock the website still shows it as in stock and delivery within 3-5 days. This was my first time using The Flash Centre and it'll be my last. So I would take any item as being in stock with a pinch of salt

Hi Phill, thank you so much for your honest and detailed review of The Flash Centre. Whilst it is never nice to hear negative feedback, in many ways it is a lot more important to us than all the 5-star reviews we receive, as they give us the best opportunity to analyse what we are doing, and how we can improve things. We are constantly striving to perfect are service, and whilst i'm not sure we'll ever be 100% perfect, feedback such as this is invaluable for us to get closer to that goal.
I'm sure you would appreciate some explanation as to what went wrong with your order, i'll give you the short answer here, but i'll also reach out to your personally with some more detail for full transparency. The quick version though, is that unfortunately a stock reporting error at one of our warehouse locations, meant that we thought we had this item available, when unfortunately it was not. We do try our very hardest to make sure that all stock is advertised as accurately as possible at all times. With thousands of products available on our site, one can occasionally slip through the cracks. For this error, we hold our hands up and can only offer our sincere apologies. Rest assured, we'll be looking into the specifics of this stock error, to see what we can learn and improve to reduce the chance of something happening again.
I can completely appreciate your frustration over the situation, and would feel the same in your shoes. I can only but extend my apologies, and thank you again for this opportunity to improve our service. We are only human, and the occasional mistake can happen, but we will always do our very best as customer satisfaction is our number one priority!

Professional dealers who help you get the job done, communicate brilliantly and check up to see if it all went well.
I've only used the Flash Centre for about 20 years so my experience is a bit limited...
The difference between the Flash Centre and a normal camera shop is that they are a pro supplier and when you need to hire something obscure, try out a specific bit of equipment for potential purchase or ( very importantly ) need Colorama, stands, lights whatever couriering to a location last minute they will move mountains to achieve it. Both Aran and Graham at the Leeds branch have helped me out of a hole in the last month without whom the very expensive shoot would have been cancelled.

I wasn’t sure what I needed when I…
I wasn’t sure what I needed when I called but the London branch had information on my ancient lights which got me out of trouble on a short notice shoot. I will definitely be back to them when I can eventually upgrade. Only good things to say about them.

Superb Service and Advice
I have nothing but the highest praise for The Flash Centre London, specially for Mike Rowley, Product Manager(Consultant).
