After setting up Oxford's first independently owned coffee shop in 2009, we then opened our Roastery in 2014, where we source, small batch roast and serve the best coffee we can get our hands on. We pride ourselves on sustainably sourcing our coffee with the highest environmental and ethical standards, with 6 of coffees being sourced through direct trade. This means our farmers get a fair wage, encouraging sustainable production and ethical labour practices. Sustainability with no compromise on quality is at the heart of what we offer.

The one thing I am fussy about is coffee and the Missing Beans coffee is exceptional. Also the delivery turn round from the time of order is first class. The only thing I noticed especially since COVID is the coffee varieties change quite quickly and you find an amazing flavour but can’t always repeat. But they are always getting more varieties of beans to try and taste!

Great coffee, great service. Speedy and reliable delivery if you live in Oxford. Excellent brewed coffee and pastries on site at their roastery on Magdalen road too. Highly recommended.

An amazing independent coffee shop in Oxford
This is an amazing independent coffee shop in Oxford. Both their cafe on the Turl St in town and their roastery on Magdalen Road in East Oxford can get you your caffeine fix.
They sell an excellent range of beans roasted freshly and ground to order and even deliver (on a bike!).
Talk to the knowledgeable staff to discover your new favourite coffee, and rest assured that they trade fairly and are providing you with an excellent product.
