Now, let me be real—dealing with both sets of solicitors was a bit of a pain! But Mary was a rockstar throughout the entire process. Whenever I felt stressed, she quickly adjusted and managed to generate a quote in just a matter of hours! Talk about impressive!

Advisor didn't understand self employment, took my gross sales figure as my net income so came back with super distorted lending options.

He was also uncertain how my partner could be included given her poor credit history.

The mortgage product he came back with wasn't even available to anyone with poor credit.

He was also super pushy that we only look at new build shared ownership "as it would be all we could afford"

Once he asked for my p60 I knew time was up, self employed people don't get p60s.

Went to a better boutique broker who actually understands more complex situations and oddly enough, we bought a house thst isn't a new build junk house on a shared ownership scam.

Avoid.

I would recommend the mortgage brain to anyone. Liz guided me and my partner who are first time buyers through the whole process. Every query we had she answered and with her guidance we successfully completed on our first home together. They also provided us with insurance quotes and guidance on how we could choose our own if needed/wanted. Amazing company so helpful.

Louise Onn has been outstanding and has ensure our customer's sale has gone through when facing a number of difficult challenges. She jumped on each challenge as soon as was needed and didn't give up until everything was sorted. A process made smooth and easy!
As first time buyers we didn’t know where to start the process, I was recommended to speak to Rob Williams. He was fantastic from the get go, so patient with us! He explained everything to me in detail but in a way that I understood and was able to relay to my partner. Rob handled everything for us and it was really smooth, he was very transparent and I instantly felt at ease speaking to him. The team have been extremely helpful. This was my first purchase and was a very new experience for me but they were professional and friendly throughout. I used them for buying our house and undoubtedly they are the Best. A year ago I connected with Tom in the beginning who helped me with MIP. I found a property and Tom went on paternity leave. You can understand my situation as I got worried if things got delayed. We were rushing to beat the stamp duty surge. But within no time Joe picked up things quickly. He helped me with updating the MIP and further down the line with a Mortgage offer. I kept him busy with lots of questions but Joe patiently helped me understand things. Even when we had just few days left for completion.
