I can't thank Andrea enough for the difference she has made to my life!

I have hereditary female hair loss and for many years have tried to cover and hide areas of thinning hair. Wind and rain were my worst enemy but not any more.

The scalp micropigmentation treatment gives the illusion of more hair, not extra hair. The process is slightly uncomfortable, (not painful), and the only downside is you can't wash your hair for four days. It wasn't an easy decision as I had lots of worries but now wish I'd had it done before.

Andrea is very professional but friendly at the same time. The Helen Porter clinic is very clean and comfortable and there is a car park four minutes walk away.

I have absolutely every confidence in recommending Andrea and the procedure.

Ok ladies and gents, I looked into SMP for many years before taking the plunge, eventually I decided to have it done. Next decision was with who? I researched plenty and was thinking I might have to go to London etc but then I came across Andrea at THE SCALP CLINIC in Canterbury . This was a great decision! She has trained with the best in the business named Matthew Iulo from USA(google him) and it shows. I have to say that Andrea is passionate about helping you achieve the results you desire. Even more passionate than myself! The cost was cheaper than I expected to pay and once the fee was agreed, no more monies were needed however many sessions were required. My results are truly amazing and I have no regrets on any level. As far as pain is concerned it can be uncomfortable at times but Andrea will stop at any point for you to have a rest bite. I would say it’s like a wasp sting sometimes at different points on your scalp but well worth the inconvenience in the end. I would say finally that if you are thinking about it then just do it! You won’t regret going to Andrea at THE SCALP CLINIC.

Had  scalp micropigmentation tattoo work carried out by Andrea who was very professional from start to finish took care to make sure I got the exact mix of colours and shape. The work looks so natural and with the gradual build up of the coverage literaly no one has noticed yet, which in my book means the work she carried out is just perfect. Superb service, friendly and clean facility, but beyond that the scalp tattoo has helped me feel more confident and made a real difference to me.

Well I’m not really sure what to say or how to say it because I’m not really sure that I have got the words.
Firstly I have had alopecia since childhood. It took a long time before so much of my hair fell out that I had very little left. Like alopecia does it comes and goes but now it mainly goes. So here I am female and mainly bald. So of course as you can imagine this impacts on your life. On your self esteem and confidence and on your ability to leave the house. Of course you still do what needs to be done. Eg go to work, look after the children. But it wasn’t until I had my head tattooed that I realised just how much I had been truly hiding.
Andrea has given me so much. More than I am sure she will ever understand. I’ve been out more socially in the last few weeks than I have in years. I might not have hair but I do have pretend hair. It might not be long and flowing but it looks like I have a skinhead. I have a hairline, my patches aren’t stark. I look like my skinhead is a choice. I know this might not make any sense to people with hair but for me this is amazing. It’s like winning the lottery.
Andrea is a truly wonderful human being to both talk with and in her desire for her work to be perfect. I mean I have a big head and she had lots to do! But she tirelessly made the effort to make me look perfect. There are no words of gratitude.
Yes occasionally it felt a little uncomfortable, yes occasionally my leg would twitch and my eye would water. Yes not touching or washing my head after due to the aftercare was difficult but the result is more than just looking different. I feel different, I feel more like me again. I don’t feel the need to hide anymore.
There are no words that can ever express my gratitude because they don’t make words enormous enough to cover it all.
