Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my order went missing, through no fault of Vegankind. Once they knew, they were very quick to respond and resend the order. Thank you so much!

this is my first order

this is my first order, what a lovely company of people it is to deal with, shopping for Vegan is a challenge in France but this site was recommended to me, shall be using again, quick efficient well done to the team !

The perfect supermarket

This is my new favourite online store. They have an amazing selection of products, and it's so much easier than shopping at a normal supermarket and constantly try and filter out the non vegan stuff. The range is huge and still growing. The stock check seems to work, I've never had a missing item or a substitution. Delivery is super-fast, and the customer services team are lovely. The perfect supermarket :)

Brilliant company

Really quick delivery. Items well packed. Had slight issue with delivery but The Vegan Kind sorted it out without any problem. Highly recommend

POLITE...EFFICIENT AND SOOOO FRIENDLY

I was told about TVK by a work colleague and I'm so happy. I have just received my first order and have eaten my way through almost a quarter of it. I had a small issue with a leaky jar which was very efficiently dealt with by a very polite Katherine. Thank you TVK and keep up the good work!

The choice of products is good. The delivery is fast but expensive and you have to pay extra for the ice even if you get "free" delivery.
They pretend to care about customers but I doubt it's genuine.
The website has bugs with the basket (impossible to delete an item which is out of stock).
The reviews system is terrible. I wanted to leave feedbacks (mostly good ones except for one item) but found it impossible. They use third party that is supposed to send an e-mail but if you opt out (which I don't remember doing) you'll never get it again (even if you buy something in another website that also uses this service). So after many e-mails they just admitted it was impossible but said they didn't see any problem with it and that the system worked perfectly FOR THEM (but not for the customers obviously).
Also some items come defrosted. Yes, they warn about it on an item's page but you have to be really attentive reading it and that's not what you usually expect to receive.

We're so sorry you were disappointed.

When you didn't receive the opportunity to leave feedback via Feefo, we looked into this for you and found that you'd opted out of receiving emails from Feefo, which you conceded you may have done if you thought it was spam. We explained that once you opt out, only you have the power to opt back in (which most people who don't want the emails appreciate)! You do need to contact Feefo directly to opt back in - and we provided the details for you to be able to do so. In response to your concern that customers weren't able to leave reviews, my colleague, Leigh, explained that we've received over 3000 reviews this year alone, and that for us this was an indication that the review system was largely working well and was accessible, although we'll always help if anyone reports difficulty using the review system.

When we launched our new website there were a few hiccups which we've since ironed out, and this included that items in baskets were lingering even after the order had been placed. We appreciate that this was frustrating when it did happen, and we're very grateful for the customers who reported this to us so that we could fix it as soon as possible!

Slack-thawed products are indicated as such in 3 different ways on our website: there's a blue icon on the product photo indicating the number of days of shelf life it has, there's a highlighted blue box on the product listing explaining that it will defrost in transit, and this information is written in bold in the product description too. We understand that you weren't expecting to receive slack-thawed products, however, we've put a lot of effort into making this information as clear and noticeable as possible.

We do offer free shipping - the £1 cost that you're referring to is a packaging cost, and covers the extra materials that are required to keep your order chilled in transit! We're very pleased to be able to offer free shipping for orders that qualify, as well as currently offering a £2 discount on orders between £40-£65, and we hope you can understand the chilled packaging cost isn't included in this offer :)

Amazing customer service...

Amazing customer service.....some goods arrived having been damaged in transit and I got a very kind (VeganKind 😉) and helpful response. I was offered the option of an immediate refund for the damaged goods or to have the money , plus some extra by way of apology, put onto my reward balance.
The products are good, the site easy to navigate and it is so very lovely to be able to shop without having to read EVERY SINGLE WORD on the label!
I would throughly recommend these lovely people 😊❤️

Minimum order value of £20 is choice not a necessity.

Minimum order value of £20 is something which has deterred me from using this company.

It's simply not practical for a lot of people, and will definitely stop me using this company.

I raised this via email with the company and received the following response...

"Our minimum order value is directly tied to our shipping costs, so we have to have a minimum order in place to be sustainable as a business! We appreciate that it's disappointing for customers like you who need to order less than this. Other supermarkets have minimum order requirements of up to £40 for delivery, so we're trying to strike a balance between having the minimum order value as low as we can while not being forced to increase other costs to our customers!

I really do sympathise the position you're in. I grew up in a family with little to no budget for anything except necessities, and I'm well aware that £20 certainly isn't something that everyone can afford - it's absolutely not our intention to force people to spend money they don't have! We're just unable to continue as a business without a minimum spend in place.

We don't have any plans to remove or reduce the minimum, since it's something we need to have in place, but I'll make sure your feedback is logged for future review!"

Making a comparison to other companies who have a larger spend is no answer at all, and this is not the only business model for companies - there are plenty of vegan supermarkets online who do not do this, and do so successfully, I will be going back to using them.

Brilliant Service

I used the VeganKind Supermarket due to a voucher and ended up spending double the amount as there was so much choice. It isn't just food, you can order cleaning items etc.
I was kept up to date with the delivery and when the parcel arrived it was well packaged. I was impressed with the way the cold food was packaged in a cold bag with an ice pack that can be used again. Not lots of plastic waste.
I love the fact that everything is vegan so I don't have to keep looking at lists of ingredients or checking for a vegan sign.
Great service and will definitely use again.
