Whenever I travel by train in China I always book my tickets in advance with Travel Guide China Tours and every time things work perfectly. This always makes my travel experience so much nicer as I know that I don't have to worry about tickets and having to purchase them at the window, just show the confirmation number & passport and hey presto tickets!!
I would 100% recommend using Travel Guide China Tours.

We planned a 9 day tour in China with Travel China Guide Tours in April. The tour was very well organised and we were extremely delighted with service, Guides, accommodations and organisation. We strongly recommend Travel China Guide Tours for your future vacation in China.

I had an excellent Private Tour in China, Vietnã and Thailand, with Travel China Guide . Since the beginning when i was planning the tour and changed the itinerary so many times, my travel assistant Wendy was so patiente with quickly replies. The Tour was fantastic, the guides explained everything in details, very good english and good tips during the tour. The drivers drive in a safe way, the cars were New. The hotels in a excellent location, near attractions, Restaurants.

A tour of China has been on my bucket list for years, and I did extensive research before signing up with Travel China Guide Tours, and they didn't disappoint. From the very beginning Wendy was very helpful and understanding in answering my multitude of questions. When a problem arose (not China Guide Tours' fault) they resolved to to our satisfaction. Most of our original tour group did not go on to Chengdu to see the pandas, so my son and I were the only two, but China Guide Tours provided us with our personal guide who could customize the tour to our likes. All of the guides, especially Selina in Beijing, were knowledgeable and attuned to the needs of the group. The hotels were all centrally located and first-class with bountiful buffet breakfasts. The excellent restaurants allowed us to sample Chinese food specially ordered taking into account group preferences and dietary needs. All in all, it was a memorable trip.

We were in China in March/ April 2019. This was a small group tour. From the start to the end, Travel China (TC) looked after us well. All the hotels were of very good quality. There were no shopping trips. All the guides were well trained and conversant in English. We had a marvellous time thanks to TC. I certainly recommend this company to you.

I arranged a trip for my husband and daughter this past Spring. Linda Jing was so incredibly helpful and responsive to my questions that she made the entire experience seamless. We would definitely use them again in the future!

I have used Travel China twice for tours. In Beijing, the group was 5 people and our travel guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Tom, our guide conducted the tour of the Forbidden City and the Great Wall at our pace. The experience at the Wall was especially nice as it was not overly crowded and the views were spectacular. We even rode a sled down from the wall.
The guide, Abby, in Xian was very knowledgeable as well and friendly. Two people were present for that tour. We saw the soldiers and walked the area. After the tour, Abby arranged a dinner at the Opera House for me. She arranged a driver to pick me up at my hotel and take me to the show and then the driver was waiting for me at the door of the theater after the show to return me to my hotel. I enjoyed the show even more knowing that transportation was already arranged. Abby even arranged the meal to meet some dietary restrictions that I have.
Overall, I have been very pleased and would recommend this agency to other English speaking travelers.

We had a great experience with Travel China and would highly recommend them to plan a trip to Asia. Linda was fantastic at accommodating our many requests and changes. Very prompt replies. Our two tour guides - Kitty in Beijing and Celine in Xi'an were outstanding. They took care of all of our needs from greeting us at the airport, getting us registered in hotels to helping us order food. Both of them had so much knowledge of the Chinese culture and history that it really made our trip great. I really would not recommend doing a China tour without a tour guide. The added history and local information you get from the tour guides makes the tours so much more interesting then if you went by yourself. It was truly a special trip where all we had to do was show and not worry about anything. It's the way to do a vacation.

I had a great experience with Travel China Guide Tours. I love the convenience of how they pick you up from your hotel, saving you much time in the morning. Our Tour Guide was insightful and helpful. He shared many interesting and fun antidotes along our journey. When we ran into a little confusion of where to meet our bus, he showed up on a bike to find us, waiting with us for the bus driver to arrive. This allowed us to not worry while we waited. The restaurant they provided was delicious and a great end to our hike along the Great Wall. Great service and great value for the money! I highly recommend them!

We travelled to Beijing, Xi’an, Guilin and Shanghai with China Travel Guide and had a fantastic holiday. Our guides were Tina, Lily, Shirley and William - all were very professional, friendly and informative.
The 14 day tour went really smoothly, the hotels were good quality, the itinerary was excellent and we were impressed with the choice of restaurants too.
Because of this experience we used China Travel to visit Vietnam too.

It was a very good tour. I couldn't make up my mind about how many days tour I would like. But every time I emailed, I always got a very prompt reply. I really appreciated that. When I finally decided to take a one day tour last minute, Lexi readily agreed to a few changes to the itinerary although it was only one day before the tour!
The guide and the driver were nice and knowledgeable. Very helpful and flexible in where they could drop us at the end of the tour. I also liked it that the tour was private just for my group. It was a relaxing tour and the pace was just nice for the elderly in my group. The car was nice, clean and comfortable. The lunch was also excellent. I learned a new way of cooking rice with ginger and vegetables. Absolutely delicious. I'll definitely go with Travel China Guide again if there is a chance.

I was searching amongst many websites and trip advisor tours and i found TCG. I am so happy that i picked them with their exceptional services and price. It was beyond my expectations.

My family and i were 6 ladies booked a private tour in China for 16 days (Beijing,Chengdu,Dali,Lijiang, Shangri-La, Kunming and Shanghai) organized by Ms. Kelly Wang. She was helpful, patient with me in modifying my trip, she replied my emails quickly and answer every question i asked.

Every city has it charmed. And every tour guide was informative and helpful. Also it was really easy to modified our tour with the guide as we like.

I will definitely choose TCG again.

On an impulse, my husband and I bought two very cheap roundtrip tickets from the US to China. Then we started to make plans for visiting a country that was totally unfamiliar. Getting hotels / guest houses was simple using the internet. But we were a tiny bit terrified about how we would get around once we were in China and on the ground. Nether of us know any Chinese - written or spoken.

Using China Travel Guide made it possible for us to plan a three week trip that took us from Beijing to X'ian to Yangshou to the Yellow Mountain and finally to Shanghai.

We found the train schedule at the China Travel Guide web site and booked our tickets. We changed plans a couple times and the service was helpful in making these changes as well as in making better choices in our plans. There was a small service charge ($5 per ticket?) We also bought two sets of airline tickets, but cancelled one (yes, you can do that and China Travel Guide refunded the difference after a small cancellation fee). China Travel Guide delivered our train tickets to our Beijing hotel for the entire journey. All we had to do was show up at the station on time and find the right platform. They booked us great seats -always together (we booked about a month in advance) and usually in a row of two seats, not three.
We used a China Travel Guide tour in Xi'an to see the Terracotta warriors. I found the warriors not to be that thrilling, but the guide was great and her stories about her life and the local area made the trip very worthwhile.There was only shopping where our fellow tour-taker wanted to go and the guide helped her get exactly what she wanted at a price she was happy with. This day trip was so much better than the one we took to the ancient villages around the Yellow Mountain with a guide we found via tripadvisor.

In short- we were very happy with China Travel Guide. We found them to be helpful, responsive and thoughtful. We could not have done an independent trip through China without them. Kudos.

I was nervous about traveling East for the first time, but was quickly put at ease by our guides in each city, and their warm and accommodating welcome. Our tour guides were Mike (Beijing), Lily (Xi'an) and Kris (Shanghai). I remember one time we were asking at a restaurant for ice water, which is not common to serve it that way in China, but our guide did everything to provide us. While they were certainly more of tour guides than expert historians, we learned a lot from their commentary. The navigation and comfort in the city was the most valuable. We had no troubles at the airports or in transportation. Would highly recommend!

In March we traveled to Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai with Travel China Guide Tours and had a wonderful experience in all 3 cities. Our tour guides were Mike (Beijing), Lily (Xi'an) and Kris (Shanghai) - ALL of them were fantastic and so willing to answer all of our questions. Our personal drivers were safe, courteous and helpful, as well. One member of our family has mobility issues and everyone was so accommodating - they made the trip manageable and anxiety-free for us. Our weather was wonderful and when the traffic or weather wasn't perfect, everyone adjusted to maximize our experience. We did a 9 day tour of China (Shanghai, Xian and Beijing) in March through Travel China Guide Tours. We were escorted by 3 AWESOME Guides. Daniel in Shanghai, Jacky in Xian and Candy in Beijing. We have done private tours before but this is the best we have ever been treated. The experience started with a plan that was tailored to what we wanted to see and do (Thanks Emily). China is a great place to visit and our guides help us touch the local vibe and cultures in the places we visited. We would recommend Travel China Guide Tours to anyone wanting to visit China.

We were fortunate to travel with Travel China Guide Tours this past March (2019). This is an amazing tour company and I highly recommend it to my family and friends. I worked with Wendy Lee for months preparing the perfect trip and she was absolutely incredible in terms of doing all kinds of extra planning and savings ideas for our family. We are a family of 9 (2 adults, 7 kids ages 2-15) and 2 grandparents. We spent 14 days on a private tour through Beijing, Xian, Suzhou & Shanghai. We were able to see so many beautiful sights in Beijing. The Great Wall of China, Summer Palace, Tienanmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutongs, etc. Our hotels were perfecting placed in each city. They provided delicious breakfasts and our guides were simply amazing! We had 3 different guides that were all warm, treated us like family, and went above and beyond what we expected.
