Il mio abbonamento si è rinnovato in automatico dopo 1 anno, senza che io abbiamo richiesto il rinnovo automatico e senza alcun preavviso nelle settimane precedenti, al contrario di quanto affermano nei loro T&C. Ho scritto all'assistenza, mi hanno offerto varie percentuali di rimborso, fra cui il rimborso dell'abbonamento annuale (74.99 EUR) al netto del primo mese (discutibile trattandosi di una richiesta effettuata entro i primi 14 giorni dall'addebito). Ebbene, ho ricevuto 50 EUR di rimborso. Una truffa bella e buona. Staremo a vedere se riceverò la differenza per giungere all'importo corretto del rimborso. In ogni caso la mia opinione non cambierà.

Was offered a deal for 7 days trial then 49.99€ a year subscription if I wanted to keep it.
I didn't find the product worth the fee so I cancelled it two hours later.

Today I got charged 99.99€ because apparently, when I was given the free trial, I was also given some other crap I didn't want, used, or even asked for, alongside the pro subscription. Said crap costs 99€ a year, and I was given no warning about this.
Contacted support, received a clearly automated answer in 2 minutes offering at most 75€ back, and then got ghosted when I said I wanted the full money back.
I called my bank and gave them the evidence hopefully they can get my money back

I did a free trial of 7 days which would turn in a yearsubscription if not cancelled. For some vague reason i got billed 99,99 dollar twice, so 200 dollars for a year (!). They say its my own fault cause i didnt deselect something, so im not getting my 99.99 back

Whatch out what you sign up for!!!!

Ständig erscheinen Updates mit völlig unnötigen Neuerungen, bei es denen aber dann zu Fehlern bei wichtigen Basisfunktionen kommt. Das dauert dann aber wochen- bis monatelang bis diese Bugs wieder behoben werden. Keinerlei Antwort auf Anfragen beim Support.

Just went to UG to find chords as usual, and realized that a feature I use often, transpose, is now a premium feature that you have to pay for! I can get by, but now I imagine all the users that have not studied music theory are going to be left feeling stuck and cheated. This leaves a terrible taste of corporate greed in my mouth, and I will be visiting UG as a last resort now instead of a first stop. This is user generated content, the chords come from it's members, so it seems that Ultimate Guitar (interesting horns in logo...) wants to take from people only, and then take some more, and not give in return. By the way, LOTS of ads already on the website. Just a shame really.

Beste App für Hobby-Musiker.
Ich habe alle gängigen Apps und Programme durch, die derzeit erhältlich sind.
Ultimate Guitar bzw. Tabs ist gut bedienbar, man kann transponieren, es gibt Tabs für Gitarre und Ukulele und man kann alle Songs bearbeiten und speichern.
Auch ein Airpedal zum umblättern ist vorgesehen und lässt sich sogar unterschiedlich (nach Produkt/Modell) einstellen.
Für mich als Musiker gibt es nichts Besseres.

wish I could give less starts. They charge your cc for whatever they want, bake you into subscriptions you don't want, and then refuse to fix their double charge shysty bs. hard to believe a company can still operate like this in 2026

Misleading, making it look like you can choose for a free trial and than charging €39,99 for a whole year subscription

Souscription par erreur à une application qui ne m'est d'aucune utilité, en version pro et sur un an. Après de multiples échanges avec le service client, ils refusent de me rembourser et c'est désormais un bot qui me répond. En un mot, ceux sont des voleurs professionnels.

Great Tabs for all the songs I want to play!

Such a great application, providing endless opportunities for learning to improve (for me) guitar technique plus TAB and chords for just about any song going.
This is one application that I don’t winch about paying annually.
Worth every penny.

Très bonne application, très complète et agréable à utiliser. Juste une remarque : le moteur de recherche des morceaux pourrait être amélioré (parfois un morceau n'est pas trouvé juste pour une ' ou un titre légèrement différent.)

Love the way several (sometimes many) people have their versions published of a song. After all they are all interpretations.
They are well set out and cover an amazing number of songs. Very unusual to not find what you want and when that happens makes you creative. Nothing wrong with that!

I bought the lifetime membership over 15 years ago for about $50. Best buy ever, now that I see they charge monthly now.

Het werken met deze website wordt steeds lastiger. Steeds meer blokkades en advertenties. Het indienen van nieuwe tabs is onnodig ingewikkeld. Vroeger was het Online Guitar Archive het beste voorbeeld van het vrije internet, maar dat is helaas al lang niet meer zo.

I've been using UG for years and it's a pretty cool collection of tools to easily learn new songs like "Official" tabs and chord charts, a vast library of chord diagrams, simple key transposition and play-along backing tracks just to name some of he best bits.
On the down side there can be dozens of different personal "user" interpretations of keys, chords and tabs for the same song which can make it challenging to find the right one sometimes, and even the Official tabs might need adjustment to get them into the same key as the artist's original recordings which can be frustrating if you're trying to do it on the fly at a rehearsal...
