Wood laminate and carpets
The wood laminate fitter arrived on time. He was very pleasant and professional and made a great job of fitting the laminate flooring. He trimmed the doors and made no mess at all. Great job!
Following day the carpet fitters also arrived on time, again trimmed the doors and the carpets looked excellent. Completely satisfied with the service and price from Eddie and his team.
One final thing, all the work was carried out in one of the hottest heatwaves ever yet no problems at all. Thankyou guys 🙏

Brilliant service throughout. The store is laid out well and staff were very helpful and friendly.
My order arrived when they said it would and arranged a fitter who promptly fitted 2 rooms both to our satisfaction. Carpets look lovely and well fitted. 👍

Thoroughly enjoyable process
From initially looking online and ordering samples to my house, they arrived very quickly. I did take a while to decide on which carpet to choose so I ordered a few more samples before I actually went into my local store.
Once in my local store (Crewe) the team were friendly, weren't pushy whatsoever and let me browse at my own leisure until I needed assistance. They were very knowledgeable, honest and happy to help even though it took me 3 visits to decide! I eventually ordered in store and purchased underlay as well to qualify for the free fitting option.
My carpet took approx 3 weeks to arrive into the store, but I was told this at ordering and I was called to arrange a fitting date. The fitter contacted me prior to arrival that they were on the way, both times, and once arrived, was friendly and well mannered, I left him to it as I prefer to not get in the way. My fitting was split over 2 days due to the amount of rooms being done that had furniture in, that I had removed prior.
After the fitter left, i gave it a good hoover up. The carpet looks amazing, it feels great, is well fitted and makes my home feel so much like my own now.
Overall, I'm very happy with my stress free experience, I've used united carpets previously and will continue to do so.
Just a side note:
- Incase you're new to this process, the fitting cost is taken off the payment for the carpet at the time of ordering and is paid directly to the fitter when they come and fit the carpet.
- I uplifted all the old carpet and underlay myself and hoovered up any debris that was left prior to the new carpet being fitted.
- My local store don't take the off cuts with them or dispose of the old carpet so I took it to a local HWRC which was fine with me. The fitter did help cut the old carpet into smaller bits for me though.

Average at best.
Store well overestimated the sq meterage.
Carpet fitters broke my radiator and didn’t mention it.
Carpet fitters left three big bags of rubbish but took the overestimated left over underlay which I’d paid for.
Not really a great experience with United carpets.

The staff here are amazing
The staff here are amazing! We couldn't have been more clueless in what we were looking for when we needed a new bed but everyone we spoke to was so friendly and understanding and helped us find the perfect one for us! We got exactly what we were after for an even better price than we expected and the delivery was fast too! Have slept better than ever since it got delivered thank you so much!!!

You should be sued for false…
You should be sued for false advertising with free fitting with every carpet. But no in the small print it’s says when you purchase underlay £12sq meter what a rip off. I good the underlay for £30 from another carpet shop. I’ll never buy a carpet from you again

The flooring is fab, and it’s been fitted lovely, I did minus a star as the fitter accidentally broke our WiFi box, and it was pretty messy when we arrived home
