Only one person letting the review down
Started excellent and Chris was very responsive. The fitting was booked in Quick…unfortunately when looking at the vinyl, I could see it wasn’t stuck down properly, and I wasn’t happy at all. I spoke to Chris who again was prompt with his response, and sent the fitter back to sort the floor. The fitter was rude and grumpy, spoke to me very short and huffed and puffed muttering under his breath. I could not wait for him to leave. Looked again and within days was lifting. Contacted Chris, who again was extremely helpful and apologetic and said he would send another fitter. Wow what a difference. The fitter was called Paul, I Opened the door to a big smile and straight on the job to rectify the problem. He was polite and did a fantastic job, even with my toddler running in and out.

Hazel Grove branch brilliant
We used the Hazel Grove branch and Glen and his team were excellent, customer service outstanding. Great choice of carpets too.
We had numerous initial problems with the fitting on our open stairs but this was eventually solved thanks to Glen’s efforts hence the 5 stars not 2!
Special thanks also to Paul the fitter who was amazing. His attention to detail was brilliant and his work very neat, nothing was too much trouble for him.
We will definitely use them again, stairs and landing look amazing.

Really nice in store staff. Spent a long time going through options with us and even stayed beyond closing time. Carpet fitter did a great job and we are really happy with the carpet. Would definitely use again.

Brilliant service from Hazel Grove…
Brilliant service from Hazel Grove branch. From initially browsing in store and clear guidance on how much extra each carpet would be be to the polite fitters. We had to change fitting date due to family health and one simple phone call was all it took. Unfortunately didn’t get the name of the fitted but both times he came was polite and and made feel at ease having someone else in the house.

We purchased a carpet in May and the staff were so helpful and the fitter did a great job so we returned to purchase hall flooring. The same salesman went above and beyond and the fitter did an exceptional job, consulting us as he went along. We even purchased a rug from instore.
All items and service top quality. Would definitely return and recommend.

Excellent service and prices.
Glen was brilliant helping me choose the best flooring. The price was very competitive and Callum the Fitter was amazing and very helpful. I am so pleased with my new kitchen floor and can highly recommend United Carpets. I will definitely be using them again for bedroom carpets.

A massive thanks to Glenn and the team at Hazelgrove.
Very helpful, Not at all pushy and actually the best value for money by a country mile!!!
The fitters were very courteous and polite. The carpets look amazing!
We also had all our down stairs done in LVT and this came with its challenges considering the age of the property. Billy and his team worked tirelessly throughout the project and the floor looks superb.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff in-store were great, no pushy sales tactics and were happy to listen and advise on our own specific needs!

Went into the shops very helpful and welcoming! So easy to shop around and have a look at different options!
We went for the LVT & the fitter Billy and his team of lads was so lovely, very professional. Couldn’t recommend them anymore!

Terrible Vinyl/LVT fitters
The carpet people themselves are wonderful, professional, and easy to deal with. Unfortunately, the Viny/LVT fitters that they sub-contract are not.
They fitted the floor un-level, and have spent MONTHS arguing about it instead of just fixing it or paying for it to be fixed.
Its been draining on our mental health, and frankly insulting to see the very least.

Dear Joel
We're happy that you we're impressed with the staff in our store.
Customer service is really important to us and on the rare occasion that we do have any issues, we work very hard to resolve them to ensure everyone gets the best possible service from our team.
Further to the below on investigating and resolving the issues mentioned, we were informed that the damage to the flooring was not due to the fitting but was in fact due to a flood in the premises. However, as a gesture of good will we attended and inspected the flooring. A free of charge repair was offered, but you wished to complete the repair yourself and were gifted a box of the same flooring to complete your project, free of charge.
We take pride in doing everything we can to make sure all our customers are happy with their purchase, we hope that the steps taken to resolve this issue are satisfactory and that overall you were happy with your experience with us.

I am so pleased with my new carpet
I am so pleased with my new carpet, it makes the room.
The man in the showroom was so helpful and very patient with us! Although we thought we knew what we wanted we still ended up going backwards and forwards looking at options he showed us.
Their fitter then made it happen - he was very professional and got the job done in no time at all.
United Carpets made the whole experience less stressful, thank you.
