A Total Nightmare – Avoid United Carpets & Beds in Crossgates Leeds!

I am absolutely furious with the service from United Carpets & Beds in Crossgates Leeds. We bought a stair carpet over a month ago, paid upfront, and were told we could book the fitting once we finished decorating. Simple, right? Wrong. We were told the carpet had arrived and booked a morning fitting. The fitter never showed up. So, I called, only to be told the carpet was damaged, and the backing was peeling off. The sales assistant promised a replacement the next day.

When I asked for a specific time, they couldn’t give me one. The next day, no fitter again! I had to chase them up, only to be told the fitter would be with me within the hour. Guess what? No fitter. I called yet again, and this time, I was told, unbelievably, that the boss was “on the toilet” and would call me back. That was over an hour ago, and I’ve heard nothing.

I’m beyond done with this company. This has been a total joke from start to finish. If you’re even thinking of buying a carpet from United Carpets & Beds in Crossgates Leeds – don’t. Save yourself the hassle, frustration, and anger. This company clearly doesn’t care about their customers. AVOID!

I recently purchased carpets for my new property and the experience was made so much easier by the brilliant staff at UC, they were not pushy at all but we're there to offer information if needed .service was promp and efficient from the start, the manager made you feel at ease and nothing was too much trouble my carpets and vinyl for the (kitchen and hall) were all measured and fitted within the week and a very professional job was done....would highly recommend.

Barry, manager and staff were very helpful and gave great advice on carpets and vinyls. Quality of goods and carpet fitting excellent. We are very happy with the service received. Would highly recommend

I have carpet and underlay in the living room, bedroom and stairs. I cannot complain about the fitters, they were very professional. The carpets I received were not what I ordered, but as a very unwell woman, I didn't have the energy to argue or wait for another day to get the right colours.

Staff very friendly & helpful and very knowledgeable. The carpet fitter arrived when booked, did a fabulous job in goid tine.

I always go there to get my flooring I find them very helpful and polite, and there prices are a good price and affordable, iv told some friends and family to visit. Thank you

From choosing the carpet to recommended fitter all was very good.

Barry in the carpet shop was very helpful and sorted out the fitting of the flooring asap. Paul the fitter was lovely and polite, worked really hard all day, I'm so pleased with the flooring looks amazing, defo recommend United carpets & beds

Came out measured up hall stairs and landing went to shop in crossgates the very next day picked out a carpet got it delivered within a week carpet fitter was also brilliant did a fantastic job.
I was so impressed went and ordered a carpet for my front room another brilliant Service Highly recommended Definitely 5 Stars
