I waited two weeks for my hallway and…
I waited two weeks for my hallway and kitchen lino to be fitted yet when they came to fit them they laid it badly.
The hallway lino has knife cuts across doorways and the kitchen lino which has squares is croaked, so after informing the lady bay shop they sent someone round to have a look and confirmed it had been poorly laid.
I went back to the shop and chose a lino without squares as I didn't trust the fotters to do a good job..
I ordered a new lino and waited for a call to let me know when the fitters were coming but 3 weeks later i never got a call so I phoned and asked what was happening.
I was i formed the lino had been delivered to the store a week previously and was forgotten about.
A new fitting setvice was scheduled for 8am on tuesday 7th but they never arrived.
The customer service is appalling

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your experience was not up to our usual high standards. After speaking with the store directly, I would like to take the opportunity to clarify a couple of the points you raised.
The store have confirmed that the initial fitting of the original vinyl was not up to our usual standards. This was completed by a new, independent fitting team who have since been removed from the store's referral list.
When the store inspected the flooring, you were invited back into store to select another vinyl. When the new vinyl arrived in store, they tried to contact you on 25th (once) and 26th (4 times) but were unable to reach you. They then provisionally booked you in for the soonest available fitting date with a different independent fitter. When you contacted the store you chose to re-book that date for the 7th.
The fitters did arrive on the 7th. Unfortunately due to an issue with the subfloor, the fitting was not able to be completed, however you have been re-booked for another date and you flooring should be completed in the next couple of weeks.
On the rare occasion that there is an issue with an order, our teams go over and above to rectify any problems as quickly as possible. In this case they inspected and replaced the vinyl swiftly, and re-booked your fitting as early as possible. They have also taken steps to ensure that the fitting issues are not repeated for any other customers.
I hope that when your flooring is completed you are fully satisfied, but if you have any issues in the mean time, please do not hesitate to contact the store directly.

The service I have received from United Carpets has been excellent from ordering two carpets on different occasions and the two carpet fitters who laid them were efficient, friendly and very helpful. A service hard to beat
We have used United Carpets for a number of years now and decided once again to use them to carpet our daughter’s complete house.
Shane was brilliant and came out to measure all the rooms and give us a price. We agreed on this and the carpets and Lino were ordered.
The “Wharton” brothers came out to do the fitting and what a great team they were. The skill in fitting the herringbone Lino with a join in it that you just can’t see speaks for itself. They were polite and worked incredibly hard to complete the fitting in a single day, they were worth every penny.
Overall another purchase and fitting that we are extremely happy with.

Terrible
Terrible. The mattress was the wrong one. They wouldn’t take it back or refund. Lost £400 on a mattress I can’t use. Manager was rude and unhelpful. Would never use them again. Got an unusable mattress

Excellent Service
Good showroom experience.No pressure to buy. Very helpful Sales Man who gave us a lot of information and helped decide .Flooring was ordered and arrive on time. Fitting followed promptly. The fitters arrived on time. Very professional and pleasant.100% satisfied and would recommend.

Staff in the shop were great
Staff in the shop were great. The fitting was a little disappointing. A skirting board was broke and the weave of the carpet did not align with the steps.

They were fantastic and flexible on…
They were fantastic and flexible on prices and I had a great deal with them and carpet fitters were great too and the laminate fitter. It was fantastic as well. The only thing I have to suggest is them really have to tell people they may need to remove the doors, and get them filed down so the door does not catch the carpet
. I felt that that was a hidden cost.
