Great job guys!
I was told (the day before) that the fitters would arrive late, late morning. And at 11.59am, that's when they arrived. I'd gone ahead of them clearing and emptying the rooms, so that the fitters could crack on, and they absolutely did.
The United fitters were friendly, knew exactly what to do and in what order. They did a fantastic job.
In no time at all they'd finished and my house was back together, looking all shiney and new.
We'd bought a whole roll of carpet from United Pontefract quite some time ago, but because of family bereavements, etc. they had stored it for us until we were ready to go. There was never any pressure from them to get on with things.
We paid a great price and are very happy with every aspect.
Would I recommend United, Pontefract - absolutely and would I go back - definitely.

Emma at United Carpets at Pontefract was excellent, extremely helpful and knowledgeable, polite and patient.
Gave us plenty of time to have a good look around.
Ordered a mattress and bedroom carpet. Good Brand products at very good prices.

Friendly staff at the pontefract shop and not pushy to get you to buy. Very obliging when I had to change my fitting date too. Looks lovely down in my kitchen and price was affordable.

Go elsewhere
Laminate flooring in a couple of packs was battered when I got to it. Edges broken off. Thank God I ordered slightly more than I needed. Second and last time I use this company. Who has a fee to return items not used? Better flooring at B&Q and any unused packs can be returned. Not great customer service in 2025!

Kitchen floor with a Cliffe edge!
Quite possibly the worse sloping kitchen you can imagen! About 1inch and abit into the corner.
Lot of back and forth but all where confident and all took the time to invention to advise to put up with an underatandably worried customer and absolutely smashed it out of the park.
The staff at the store know what they are on about and do not take cost into affect in the right way. There not after the highest sale or the most profit they want the best fit.
As for the fitter himself. Brilliant, was on time, didn't stop, was polite friendly and his attention to detail was second to none. No Corners cut and everything clean and tidy!
Can't praise them all enough isn't this first time I'll use them and definitely will not be the last, however with experience I feel they just keep going from strength to strength
