Prolonged transaction but amazing support throughout
I had a very difficult and significantly prolonged flat sale (through no fault of hers), and throughout the entire process Kushada was exceptional. She was consistently responsive, kind, friendly, and accurate in all her dealings — even as the transaction dragged on far longer than expected.
I’d be very happy to work with her again (though I’m not sure she’d be so keen to take me on as a client after this one!). I was also very happy with the level of support provided at the price point.

Dealing with this firm Versus Law and Stephanie…
Dealing with this firm and Stephanie Pyle was like returning to a time that doesn't exist anymore, in the 70's and 80's when British customer service was the best in the World, when people actually cared, and bent over backwards to be the best, Versus Law are this, they bent over backwards to help me, rarely do I give a firm 100 out of 100 but they just got this, they made my bank, insurance, car insurance and anything elese in modern Britain look like amateurs when compare to the customer service that Versus Law offer.

Very Impressive firm and can’t recommend highly enough.
Versus Law recently handled both the sale of my previous home and the purchase of my new one, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Umar Shamly was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process, friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable.
From day one, Umar made everything feel straightforward and manageable. He was always quick to respond to any questions I had (no matter how small!), kept me informed at every stage, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure things moved smoothly. Professional and Good Value
Umar Shamly took over the conveyancing seamlessly from a colleague, the interaction was always professional and prompt. The quote was very competitive and there were no unexpected charges at completion.
The company seems to routinely use 'Dear Sirs' for correspondence with women and men, this has old fashioned and misogynist roots. I would recommend it be discontinued.

Conveyancing for a leasehold flat
The conveyancing process took about 11 weeks with no chain at either end. Umar was able to arrange everything to happen on my requested completion date towards the end of March, which was close to the April stamp duty deadline so this was appreciated. One star deducted because my initial solicitor James, did not contact me and I was dealing with someone else who I thought was handling my case, but turned out they just looked after the onboarding process. Then after a few weeks of no communication I had to send a few emails to chase up who actually was dealing with my case (if anyone) and what stage it was at. Better communication would have helped to set my mind at ease.

I would like to share my recent experience using the service of Versus Law solicitors and they are brilliant.. my purchase was a rapid sale and I only had 6 weeks to do the completion and beat the deadline of stamp duty rise and I was able to complete 10 days before the deadline.
