All the staff were understanding and helpful at a very stressful time and thankfully everything was fine with our dog.

We went to the emergency room with a suspected ear infection. The dog was howling profusely. He received antibiotics in one ear and an injection on the spot. Later, when the injection wore off, the dog continued howling. We called to say something was wrong. They said we could come back and pay another 400 or so for a new appointment. It was a joke. Luckily, our vet started in the morning and we went. It turned out the infection was in both ears, not just one. The antibiotic may have been accurate, but the diagnosis was incomplete. Our vet gave the dog painkillers and anti-inflammatory tablets for a few days, and he finally stopped howling in pain. The emergency room service was nice, but the doctor's competence for the price left much to be desired, as the help and diagnosis were incomplete, and the dog continued to suffer.

The vets at vets now have saved
My beautiful little dachshunds life, she was stung by a bee and went into anaphylaxis shock. I found her collapsed on my lawn. They were marvellous and saved her life, I will be forever great full. Xxxxx

Great vet knew straight away what was wrong with our dog. Very understanding and kind. Also nurse too.

Treated for minor injury but charged for full-scale emergency. I started a change petition in light of my experience at Vets-Now. All the same practices carry the same charging policy. They're a rip off, and profit off grief

Staff were kind, caring extremely helpful and supportive. Service was exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The appointment was exhorbitantly expensive and the quality was poor as the clips holding the skin in place fell out soon afterwards and the fur was not shaved around the wound. We had to take our dog to our local vet who was able to tidy it all up.
Vets-now were late in completing the PetPlan Insurance Claim form. Overall it was an expensive visit and we would not recommend Vets-Now to anyone.

Never been to Vets Now in Nottingham before, but when our dog broke his leg and we were in shock, the receptionist and the vet we saw, bought calm where there was chaos. Cannot give enough praise and thanks to them, we were so glad they were there, thank you from the bottom of our hearts

I’m not sure about vets now. I’ve had mixed experiences at Willet House in Staines. The first visit vet and receptionist was very professional, and second visit vet and reception staff not so. It’s extremely expensive not to be taken seriously or joked about. I’m seeking an alternative emergency practice to try.

Good service from the call centre.
We were not impressed by the service once we reach Vets Now who use Parkvets hospital. We waited ages to be seen by the vet, a number of animals who arrived after us were seen beforehand, we had to remind the reception person that we were still waiting for our dog to be seen. Vet took our dog away for a strong pain killer injection, not convinced he had the injection (he had one the following morning and he was completely different to the night before).
This is a separate company to Parkvets, real shame Parkvets have sub out this contract. The service nowhere near meets the service and compassion level that Parkvets provide. We hope that we do not need to use this service again.

Kept up to date all the time - my cat stayed in for two days and the vet ran twice a day to provide an update

Quick and efficient

At our time of need Vet Now were there. They answered the phone quickly and sorted everything for our arrival. We didn’t wait long to be seen and the vet Carlos was amazing. He listened to what I was saying, asked questions and look me seriously. He was brilliant with my poorly pooch and kept us updated.

All the staff I spoke to were great - kind and caring and my dog was well looked after.

Prices are steep…but I think it’s to be expected from out of hours emergencies.

Complete lack of any understanding or ownership of a male vets behaviour to a woman who entered a consultation room on her own during an emergency appointment late at night. After making a complaint it was clear that they decided when it was going to come to an and and no further action would be taken - I was informed that the matter is now "closed"! It is completely unsatisfactory that no ownership was taken or any action was taken to instill some kind of understanding that the matter was being looked into. It was clear that Vets Now Complaints Senior Team who sent their final comments about the complaint were not prepared to take the matter any further and wanted to close the case. I will never recommend or take my sick dog to any Vets Now practice again!

Our dog eat 12 Lillie heads and once I checked google realised they were toxic. Phoned vets now out of hours who said bring her straight in. They were professional and kept us informed as the process of making her sick, lots of injections and charcoal meds were given. On the phone they did say it could be over £600. She came home with meds, we paid the bill and they are even helping us with her insurance claim. All round service, people get your pets insured and use these vets

I was very upset. We came from Sandbach because our vet clinic was closed because it was Sunday. The doctor couldn't examine my dog ​​because he wouldn't let us. The visit lasted 10-15 minutes. We were prescribed medication, but we didn't need one of them because our vet doctor said it wasn't necessary. The visit cost 399 pounds. They just bought an antibiotic. And today we were at our vet clinic, where they pulled the eardrum out of his ear. Before that, they gave him medication to make him sleep, took blood for analysis, prescribed medication for him to take home. They did a good job, and it cost 420 pounds. It was understandable to me. And what did we pay 399 for? Because it was Sunday? Thank you for your time.
