I think VMP is still awesome—good…

I think VMP is still awesome—good curation with outstanding pressing. However, the company really needs to find solutions regarding logistics so that 1) you can reduce the price of each record, and 2) you can embrace non-US members actively.

Also, be straightforward in the replacement/refund policy like within 6 months and max three replacements (including refund). I know vinyl collectors including me are very strict, but we want both VMP and us be happy.

What is happening with customer service?!

I'm wishing I'd come on here and read reviews before ordering a digital gift card for my nephew. I think I did one two years ago for him, but clearly the customer service has gone downhill and I'm adding my review to others that report this in hopes of helping someone avoid a mistake or maybe even prompting the company to step it up. -My gift card never came. I've reached out four times in one week and received only one response (four days ago) saying they'd speak to management. It's SUCH a simple thing- just send the card! Very frustrated.

High quality records - Poor customer service

To VMP's credit, they do press quality records. Unfortunately, their customer service/subscription service is lacking. They tell you that you can swap out your record of the month, but if you swap it for another record that's in high demand they'll cancel your swap without informing you whatsoever. When you reach out to customer service, they say they can't do anything about it. For $40+ records that's completely unacceptable. I will never use their service again.

VMP Music Lovers

The company VMP are obviously music lovers themselves, they pride themselves in releasing reissues in a wide range of music. The vinyl quality is second to none and the sleeve reproductions are made with love and care and of extra quality. Also the customer service is friendly and will resolve any issues immediately

Not delivering on what was ordered with lame excuses and no communication.

I have been a member since 2019 with over 300 records in my collection coming from VMP. I've been a huge proponent of their service, product, and customer service for years. On 8/26 Vinyl Me Please changed a "swap" I had made for a record without an email, a text, or anything. Their company line has been it was oversold and they wanted to make sure people signed up for "Essentials" got it.

I understand that things happen, but I've received Zero communication from the company about the "reverted swap," the lack of warning about reverting my swap, and the ZenDesk complaint I've made. Listening to a Podcast follow up (about this situation), they make no reference or apologies for not sending out emails describing what had happened and acted like they did and all was in the right. The company used a bait and switch tactic and then just assumed people wouldn't want to wait for a repress (based on info from the podcast). I've waited nearly a year for VMP product because I know it will be quality. I want the product I ordered. Not a lame excuse and no apology.

Not worth it

I’ve found some great new favorites here but it’s expensive and takes a looooooooong time to get your records. Also, customer service is nonexistent in my experience. I sent 3 emails about a shipping notice I got for a wrong record after I made a swap for my monthly pick. No one has responded (about 5 days later); the next communication I got from them was about a price increase for membership. Super disappointed. I’d skip this service.
