Absolutely unbelievable bad service
Absolutely unbelievable bad service. My husband took out a new contract with a new phone over two weeks ago. They told him as a reward he would get a payment of £150. He had to go back to collect his phone four days later. Trip one contract, trip two collect phone. Trip three to follow up on reward payment told we needed the receipt. Trip four to take receipt in, only to be told it will be another 45 days before this is available. We have both had contracts with Vodafone for 5 years. Renewed the first one and about to renew the second one. Its costing more than the reward in travel and inconvenience and now we still have to wait. Would you like for us to pay in 45 days. I bet "no".

Unbelievable and Dedicated Service
First of all my apologies this review is a little late, it would seem I've had Covid! About a fortnight ago I drove an elderly friend from York to Beverley to the Vodafone shop as he'd heard they had a good reputation for service. Boy was he right!! He'd changed his phone and as a result, he couldn't access his emails, Whatsapp, and other things. A real problem! There were three gentlemen on duty at the time of our arrival about 2.30pm, and over the course of the afternoon at times there were the three of them working on my friends phone. They were all perplexed at times, however they carried on and eventually sorted out all the problems. We left at 4.50pm. A very BIG thank you to them all. The phone is still working and he hasn't managed to cock it up!!

Had a problem with my online account…
Had a problem with my online account spent several hours on the phone speaking with advisers and online text with no success.
Went into store at Beverly and within 5 minutes the female service advisor had resolved the issue.
She was very knowledgeable and very pleasant

Appalling lack of basic knowledge
Called in to buy a Pay as you go Plus SIM card.
The first ‘sales advisor’ struggled with his computer, and then had to shout across to a colleague to ask how to do it. Said he would need details to ‘set up an account’ and set up a direct debit. I pointed out that the accounts work with card payments, not direct debits.
I asked to deal with someone who knew what to do. Second ‘sales advisor’ appeared who aggressively insisted that direct debits were the same as continuous card authorities, then aggressively suggested I should buy online.
Ignorance and arrogance is not what I expect from a store.

Popped into the Beverley Branch last…
Popped into the Beverley Branch last week to sort a new contract out.Had a chat with Danny who was so helpful in getting us a new deal ,we even came out paying less than we was on our old contract. We usually do it on line but found it easier to chat with a person. Thank you Danny top man .

Been with this store since I was 18
Been with this store since I was 18. Never had another provider. Reason is due to the staff in the beverley store. Always helpful. Nothing is ever a chore. The staff clearly have a great leader behind them as its rare you get that level of customer service anywhere these days. 10 out of 10 every time.

On behalf of my partner, poor service.
On behalf of my partner, please avoid at all costs. They sold her a Samsung Galaxy phone about two weeks ago knowing her postcode. Straight away, very poor reception/data. Slight improvement by turning to 3/2g in the settings but not by much. Went today to the shop in Beverley (sorry Elliot but it was you). Zero help, blamed on a blanket wide "issue" that allegedly all the service providers are suffering with. I asked if they could help by way of a router (a few of the other providers offer these in poor reception areas) but sadly a flat no. So, there you are, if you want a service provider that actually wants to help, please don't go to Vodafone in Beverley. Thank you for viewing.

Excellent customer service
Currys in Bridlington let me down at the last minute when I wanted a new Iphone for my daughter this Christmas. So rushed to the Beverley Vodafone store to see if they could help. Within a short space of time they provided me with a better phone and a cheaper plan than Currys, set up the insurance, did the data transfer all whilst patiently answering my questions. Excellent customer service. Thank you - especially to Elliot.
