I visited on Friday to collect my 5G…
I visited on Friday to collect my 5G Home Broadband router after signing up for a 24-month contract. Unfortunately, the lady who served me was very unfriendly, unwelcoming, and came across as though she didn’t want to help. She did try to process my order, but the credit check failed. What really stood out was the poor attitude and lack of customer service, which left me with a very negative first impression as a new customer.
I returned on Saturday hoping for a better experience, but I was served by the retail store manager and, disappointingly, received almost exactly the same attitude. Again, the service felt cold, unwelcoming, and unpleasant.
I genuinely don’t know what the issue was, but I have received warmer, more welcoming service in other stores where I wasn’t even making a purchase. This was for a 24-month broadband contract, yet I was made to feel like I wasn’t a valued customer at all.
Vodafone may have good products, but first impressions matter, and unfortunately the customer service at this branch fell well below expectations. I hope the store works on making new customers feel welcome and appreciated.
