Ich habe letztes Jahr und dieses Jahr das Paket Sonnenuntergang auf dem Teide direkt über volcanoteide.com Monate im Voraus gebucht und demnach meine Aufenthalte im Teide Nationalpark geplant.
Letztes Jahr wurde mir bei bestem Wetter angeblich wegen Wind und dieses Jahr mit der Begründung (aus organisatorischen Gründen) abgesagt.
Als ich um genauere Auskunft bestanden habe, wurde mir nicht geantwortet und mein Geld kommentarlos zurücküberwiesen!
Ich bin stinksauer!
Seriös sieht wohl anders aus!

We regret not visiting Teide on our own. The tour we joined had poor organisation and an unprepared guide who gave very little information. We expected facts about the volcano, geology, minerals, history and local agriculture, but instead we mostly heard personal comments about how beautiful the view is. Transportation was also unreliable and we were not returned to the agreed destination, which caused extra time and costs for us.
If you have a rental car, it is much better to visit independently: you can plan your own schedule, spend as much time as you want in each place, avoid long hours on the bus and enjoy the surroundings at your own pace. The cable car and the views are definitely worth it — just be aware that the quality of guided tours can vary and there is no guarantee you’ll get a professional guide.
In our experience, doing the trip yourself would have been the smarter choice.

Funivia chiusa a causa della neve…temperatura circa 11 gradi, soleggiato, cielo limpido… io il maltempo non lo vedo! Nessuna informazione sul sito ufficiale (consultato stamattina verso le 09:30, prima di partire). Tempo perso inutilmente. Vorrei poter condividere foto e video per dimostrare le condizioni meteo!

I got tricked because their website allow you to cancel your ticket after 6 PM when you can’t get the refund: on top of that they also cancelled my ticket I could have used so they could sell it to someone else and making twice the money. I had to book a second ticket and to be honest it was the most overpriced and disappointing experience in the island: the view is not that memorable and you’ve only 1 hour on the top, which doesn’t even allow you to do the 2 only short hiking parts. To avoid at all cost. So instead do some hiking in the area, all free and way better experience like the Roques de Garcia.

Where do I start. I went with my husband in our car and while we were driving we noticed that there nowhere stop or park to take pictures, there are no restaurants/cafe to buy food or drink and no toilets. All these tourists coming to look at natural beauty of the place, but we are only humans and we have our needs. We wanted to use a cable car to go on the top, but there was absolutely nowhere to leave the car. After all this we just turned around and went home. Will have this place zero if I could, we do not recommend to come here.

Zweimal haben wir die Seilbahn gebucht über volcanoteide.com und jeweils die Bestätigung der Buchung erhalten. Das Wetter war an beiden Tagen sehr gut. Leider wurde uns jeweils am 08.03.2025 und am 09.03.2025 per SMS um 08:30 Uhr die Buchung wieder abgesagt. Sowas ist echt ärgerlich.

A Complete Disappointment!

We received no message before the scheduled date and had to figure everything out on our own. When we arrived at the meeting point, we discovered we were the last ones, and all the good seats on the bus were already taken.

Unfortunately, the weather was bad, with strong winds. The tour conditions clearly stated that in case of bad weather, the cable car might not operate, and an alternative hiking route would be provided. However, instead of a proper hike, we were driven around for two hours with only two stops at the park’s most crowded spots. Then, they took us to see an exhibition about the cable car and a cafeteria.

I do not recommend booking with this tour operator. It’s much better and cheaper to plan your own route. It’s easy and guarantees a much more enjoyable experience!

Awful. I would not give even a 1 star. Complete scam. We booked a tour to the pick of volcano Teide. Weather conditions were not the best, was really windy on top - they didn’t cancel the trip, didn’t refund money.they said that will refund money for a cable car only. They offered an alternative trail - which is a bus tour around the park, with a couple stops on view points. Like a school trip. Really disappointed. This trip doesn’t cost 135€. Go by yourself of chose another company.

Cancelled when we were standing at the bus stop.

Genuinely shocking. No explanation. We had to pack lunches, and clothes, and drive to the collection location.

We had a day trip today with this company and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Pick was bang on time. Very good guide Arri, who spoke Spanish, English and German very well and was informative and amusing. Very good driver Raff who was very polite and pleasant. We really loved the cablecar ride and were able to do the walk as well with another very good Volcano Teide guide . Great day out, very professional company.

Activité Téidé au couché du soleil avec observation des étoiles, cout 214 e pour 3 personnes A fuir+++++
Réservée plrs semaines à l'avance pour pouvoir la faire en Français. Point de rdv pour le bus incorrecte(sprint pour s'y rendre après appel du guide), arrivé au bus le guide nous annonce que l'excursion ne sera pas en Français, inadmissible lorsqu'on prend ses précautions en réservant à l'avance!3h de bus A/R sans Clim. L'observation des étoiles se fait debout sur le parking du téléphérique(pendant une bonne heure) avec une bonne centaine d'autre personne (du coup explication en anglais, espagnol ou allemand)on n'a rien compris aux explications du guide d'astronomie. l
Le site n'est pas du tout agréable pour cette expérience, mieux vaut louer une voiture et se stationner sur une des nombreuses aires qui mène au parking du Téidé.
De plus, le descriptif de l'activité est tellement mal fait(intentionnel??)que l'on pense qu'il est inclus soit la visite de l'observatoire soit le téléphérique(noté option A ou B) mais que l'on ne peut pas explicitement choisir lors de la réservation mais qui apparaissent inclus dans l'activité!!!!!
Une immense déception pour notre fils de 11 ans passionné d'astronomie...
L'étoile revient uniquement au chauffeur du bus non climatisé pour sa bonne conduite de nuit sur les petites routes de montagne, et à Get your guide qui a été un support exemplaire dans cette mauvaise expérience!

NO contraten nada con esta empresa. Es una timo con su letra pequeña. Sacamos los tickets de Vip de lujo a 200 eu cada uno (1200) y por el clima el teleferico estubo cerrado varios dias y lo que habiamos contratdo no se podia hacer .Nos devolvieron de 1200 euros SOLO 600!!! Se quedaron con la mitad sin motivo , unicamente porque lo pone en la letra pequña del contrato
No me xtraña q en todas las reviews tengan un 1 , si se pudiera votar 0 eso seria . UNA ENGAÑO

Booked through the company, they charged us and we received confirmation of reservation stating they would email us again once permit has been granted. Confirmation of that came 2 days later. We planned the whole week around this trip , having been to Tenenerife/Teide twice before and not having had chance to get a permit. The day before the trip they emailed us to say there is no permit for us and do we want refund, reschedule or just take the cable car trip with the balance refunded. Needless to say they had no reschedule availability for the whole week. Avoid this company and book directly via National Park if you can.

Very good pick up and guide,but the experience is one that I would not recommend unless you like to be in
Minus temperature!! This is the sunset and stargazing trip. It’s 9 hours long and you will absolutely freeze. We got to the start of the trip and they tell you it will be minus 7. And it was ! It’s says on the email that you need warm clothing but you needed ski clothing not warm just
Clothing. It’s not made clear that temperatures are going to be minus !!It was sooo cold that unless you had ski wear on you will freeze. No hot drinks or food available only a drink machine that unless you have euros on you there is no way you can purchase a drink. Cafe closed !! toilets closed half way through! Then a hour standing looking at stars that would be nice but by then you are so froze that you are too cold
To care ! Coach journey back had air conditioning on the whole hour and a bit so you continue to freeze ! Felt ill for a day after as coming from 20 degrees to minus 7 in a couple of hours without ski wear on was a massive shock to the system! It’s needs to be explained better before you book as once your there you can’t escape it !
Worst experience ever !

Terrible company, terrible service. I strongly recommend booking elsewhere. The local people advertising this trip in booths provide much higher customer service and it's basically the same price. These guys are amateurs. They arrived late, didn't make themselves known that it was even them. The guide barely spoke English, the picnic was low quality and bland. They don't care what the weather conditions are so long as they get their money. They will not provide any customer support or refunds if things go wrong. Trust me, book through another operator!
