First class service, great prices, car was washed a vacuumed…..really nice and helpful people to deal with

I’ve been to Volksmaster Ashton a few times over the years, mainly for MOT or tyre related needs, and every visit they’ve been exceptional! I had been contacted by VW multiple times for a brake fluid change on my 2 year old Polo, and they were quoting me £99. I rung Volksmaster straight away and they quoted me £50 instead, for the same service. I booked in straight away; all the staff are always so helpful and friendly, I honestly cannot fault them at all. Always such a quick, but thorough service. Will always be my go to car-wise!

Great service from the point of booking in, having problem diagnosed and communicated, and then having repair completed. Definitely a garage I’ll now continue to use.

Have all my work done here had Mot and some advisories completed here on tuesday brilliant work and kept informed even get video sent showing if anything wrong with car excellent idea from volksmaster. Maybe find somewhere cheaper but i have an autistic daughter that i need car to drive her to n from school each day im confident my car is safe due to volksmaster heywood branch. Will see you when kids off school again need clutch cylinder n clutch safety switch doing..Bravo to you n your staff excellent as always🙃🙃

The team here at Volkmaster are fantastic. Absolute top tier service from start to finish. From the initial quote stage, Yasmine and Nicola were brilliant and made everything dead simple. Booking in and sorting the courtesy car, Kat on reception had it all completely sorted without any fuss.

Nick kept me properly informed throughout the day with updates on the additional work needed, and the techs, Josh and Harry, did a cracking job on the car itself. Everyone you deal with here is genuinely knowledgeable, takes pride in what they do, and you can tell they know their stuff inside out.

Really happy with the work carried out, and I’ll certainly be using them again. Cheers!

This is my third time using Volksmaster Oldham and they have been great every time! I’m always happy with their service and so far I’ve never had any problems.

This time I also had a courtesy car, which was ready and waiting for me at 8 am. Thanks to this, I was able to get to work on time without any problems.

Kat Farell is always very helpful and well organised, which makes dropping off and picking up the car really easy. The whole team is friendly, helpful and professional.

Had my VW ID4 serviced by these guys. Good service, all done in a timely fashion, you get the video just like main dealer.
They are approved garage and knock spots off main dealers prices.
Highly recommend..

Serviced my VW Crafter at a much lower price than the main dealers with in my opinion far superior service.
Gave a complete health check and when i picked up the van it had been cleaned too.
Very pleased with the friendly staff and i wont take it anywhere else

First impressions- met with a smile and professional greetings from both Amanda and Stacy. I knew my vehicle would be in good hands from the minute I left it there. They did not disappoint. When I collected it after a full service they sent a video and a proper printed receipt and summary of the work carried out. Van runs great and will be back in the future. Customer for life!

I had my Audi A6 booked in with them for a timing belt and water pump + gearbox service, a week before my appointment my car developed a knocking noise from the top end of the engine, so I kept the appointment for more serious issue, I asked volksmaster to arrange recovery as my car was only 3 miles away from their garage, £105 was the price they gave me, but when the recovery guy called me he said it’s only £80, so that’s the first thing they tried ripping me off with , my car was looked over by volksmaster and they explained to me that I would be better off changing the engine so this was a Friday , they said they would get back to me on Monday with a price, no reply until the following Thursday, the quote was £17000 to replace a engine on £5000 car as they dont fit second hand engines, so for them to find out what was wrong with my and fob me off it cost over £500 , this place obviously rips people off on a daily bases and claims to be cheaper that the main dealership, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone without deep pockets and if the job doesn’t have maximum value in it for them they won’t take the job on and just fob you off , update to volksmasters response, If I would of been aware that you would of quoted me 12k for a new unit I would of stopped you at that point and told you it was a no go , and definitely wouldn’t of waited a week for response for a new quote of 17k , I’m with no idea how or what I need to do to save the engine or if I need a new one , just the whole experience of using volksmaster has left me feeling fobbed off as there wasn’t enough money to be made out of my car so yous wasn’t interested in taking the job on . wish you all the luck in the future but I wouldn’t recommend volksmaster myself to anyone.

I took my Citroën C5 to Volksmaster Heywood for new tyres and tracking. Straight away Volksmaster Heywood inspires confidence. The yard is clean, tidy and well organised. The roller shutter doors for the workshop were open and the shop was equally tidy. I checked in at the reception and was greeted with a good morning and a smile from the receptionist who booked my car in.
When the work was completed I received a call to go and pick my car up and was informed that my brake disks were not in the best condition, which I was aware of, but good of them to tell me. One of my wheel centers did one on the test drive and straight away the great staff at Volksmaster ordered a replacement.
It really is refreshing to find a well run and professional vehicle workshop. I will definitely be using Volksmaster again and will recommend Volksmaster to friends and family.

I recently had the gearbox serviced on my VW Touran at Volkmaster, and I’m very pleased with the experience.

Their customer service was outstanding. Kate and Jordan were welcoming, friendly and professional, and they explained everything clearly. The car was properly diagnosed, the service information was updated on the VW portal, and they also identified some potential work that may need to be carried out in the future, with no pressure.

The complimentary car wash and goody bag were a really nice touch as well.

I have used Volksmaster Oldham van centre a few times now, most recently for a faulty wheel bearing on my VW Golf. The service and communication I received from Zak and Jakk to resolve and diagnose the problem and then fix it was superb. Highly recommend this garage, your car is in safe hands. Cheers guys!
