Impossible returns

Have been trying to activate return for two days and still no link, will only stay at stage 1 of the return, will not allow 'continue' and high value of goods being returned. Will never use again. No phone contact allowed and message portals down.

This whole company should be closed down!!
Trying to get a refund for items they've received is near on impossible, they have no contact email, no telephone number, a WhatsApp and message unsupported chat.
They have the nerve to slyly charge you for an insurance which says covers you when infact it doesn't, charge you for delivery and returns so it costs them nothing!!
They're unethical and are breaking so many consumer online selling laws they should be prosecuted. Debenhams, Wallis, boohoo is all the same company. I would advise to stay away from them all.
I am currently in a dispute with PayPal to get my refund. Absolutely appalling company.

Very bad experience

I have ordered 2 jumpers from Wallis on 5 April. Its been in progress since and yesterday was last deadline of delivery. I did contact them by email and they said to wait for delivery deadline. I contacted them by messenger and they just kept telling me wait till 9pm, when I messaged them after 9pm, they said they will transfer me to another agent but now they have completely stopped replying. I just want a refund for my order asap and no one is getting in touch. Order number DUX053364282
I have never experienced such a bad experience from any online retailers.

Do not buy from Wallis

Do not buy from Wallis. I returned all items I purchased but was short changed by £20. They have no customer service phone number and Ive been going round in circles receiving the same automated message replies. They are committing fraud in my opinion.

Do not buy from this company. Wallis, Dorothy Perkins and Debenhams were bought by Boohoo and all the stock is sent from DBZ warehouse. I ordered some trainers that said they were Oasis. What I actually got were really cheap looking unbranded trainers that you could buy at a market. It's a rip off and what you think you're buying is not what you get.
I sent it back through InPost and did get my money back. But they take £1.99 to process each refund!
It's a blatant money grab. Stay far away from this company.

Why does Wallis take so long to action…

Why does Wallis take so long to action a refund? Almost,twice as long,if not more ,than other companies. It would appear that Wallis are now using delaying tactics to hold on to customers’ refunds for their own benefits. This must surely be wrong.
Only contact is via messenger or whatsapp,and refund STILL not received. DISGRACEFUL.
REFUND STILL NOT RECEIVED

Wish I'd read the reviews here first re: refunds :(
Ordered £233 worth of clothing, returned all 5 items and I've only received a refund for 4 of them. I am missing £47.50.
I've tried the only way to contact them via Messenger - clearly just a bot.
It says someone will contact me further... I guess not.
Might try Resolver as I see others have had success via that route.
Otherwise it's a credit card claim.
How do these companies get away with operating like this?
Debenhams was such a trusted and valued high street brand. Never again.

Awful customer service and ongoing

Have been trying to return a regatta coat ordered through Wallis, first the returns portal refused to recognise my order no, contact customer services, they sent link to print out returns label, now , even though I have sent copies of the order, label and return receipt several times, still getting nowhere , awful company to deal with, will never buy from them again . Still no indication of when refund will be sent
Update, they now want me to try and retrieve the parcel from the address they sent me a link to, unbelievable!

Shocking customer service

Returned items to value of £300 using pre paid returns label December 2025 and still chasing refund. Raised claim with Royal Mail as instructed by Wallis, Royal Mail admit to loosing package and advised that contractor, Wallis, are to raise claim as it was using their pre paid returns label. Getting bounced back and forth between the two while I’m out of pocket £300! Shocking customer service! Messaged Mr Kamani on Insta today.

0 would be my rating I returned an item and received an email to say my refund was in progress near to 3 weeks ago and still not refund. This is ridiculous I will have to raise a chargeback with my credit card company as they are not responding to emails either

I wouldn’t even give it a 1 rating if I could give it a minus I would. I have been waiting for 9 days for my order to arrive. It still hasn’t. I paid extra for some “seel scam protection” which was £8! I have had emails from other companies but not Wallis. You click on the communications icons none of them work. You cannot email or phone! This website is a con! Please do not order or trust them!

No refund

No refund! They received the returned item 13 March but yet to refund me. The only way I've been able to find to communicate is via Messenger and it's a robot that talks to you. When they say they'll pass to an agent, it goes silent. Won't ever order from this company again. Wish I read the reviews.
None of their email links work either. They sent me an email to review the product but no, can't do that either. Couldn't make this up!

Avoid Ordering Online

They try to take money from you for unnecessary extras such as a "Protection Fee", which I thought was cheeky. Then when you return items they also charge you a return fee too.

I would avoid ordering Wallis clothes online again. it's a shame because they have some nice pieces.

Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful. I ordered two dresses and a pair of shoes online. Only one dress arrived - which I would like to return. I still don’t have the other dress or the shoes.

Customer services is horrendous and only communicate via email, with their responses taking a minimum of 4 days. There’s no continuity in communication and now I have several responses from different people. Some saying that the order cannot be located and some saying that it’s marked as delivered. I’m nearly £200 down and have a dress I don’t want.

I’ve never known anything like it. I have no idea what to do next. This has been going on for a month now….

Beware when ordering from Wallis, make sure you scrutinise small print.

Would have given 0 if I could - issues very much as stated.
Unethical charge £11.87 for ‘Protection’ very small box that has to be ‘unticked’ - tried to cancel immediately unable to.
Emailed customer services 3 times before getting response, only to say it’s policy.
Wanted a dress in both black and white, order sizes 10 & 12 to ensure fit as I am size 10 - couldn’t button up over bust .. ridiculous had to return all 4 at cost of £2.49 so now paid out almost £14.50 for NOTHING.
3 additional items delivery separately, 2 I have to return as don’t look like pictures, do more expense to send these back as they have to be sent separately.
Will not be using again 😡

Would give them 0 if I could. Bought a pricey coat with them for it to arrive with missing buttons that weren’t even in the packaging. Needed the coat for an event and couldnt find it elsewhere in my size so asked if they could provide a partial refund for the damage and send replacement buttons so I can fix the coat. After repeating this and the necessary details to their customer service 3 times they eventually said the only resolution they will offer me is a return which i explicitly said multiple times i did not want because the coat was now sold out in my size. Customer service was really weird and unhelpful and copied and pasted my own messages back to me. Would not recommend and definitely will never be shopping with them again. Shout out to Reese from their customer service team who was particularly unhelpful

Terrible company Do Not Use

This company and its market traders under the Debenhams/Wallis/Boohoo name needs to be struck off trading. Totally illegal trading methods. No ease of contact through Boohoo- Debenhams Wallis. Don’t recognise order no. E-mails on site accounts. had togo via customer services to e-mail.
They sent me a corrupt QR code to return goods. had to contact bank to stop unauthorised payments. Charged £12:62 for delivery protection? ? When queried was told I should’ve deleted it from order. Surely this company should be stopped from trading. Worst experience ever, though I did get goods refunded minus charges. Steer we away from these crooks.

Terrible refund experience

I’ve ordered loads of Wallis clothes over the years - the quality is usually great and sizing spot on.

Unfortunately I ordered a few items that just didn’t fit right so I sent them back for a refund. I received no confirmation of receipt until I chased customer services, who confirmed they’d received the items and that it would take 14 days from receipt to process the refund. It’s now been almost a month, and I still haven’t had my refund of over £100.

Customer services aren’t responding to my request for an update and I’m now wondering if I have to raise a dispute with my bank, given all the negativity I’ve been reading about their refund process.

I’m so disappointed in Wallis and have lost trust in them. I wouldn’t mind if they’d be honest about timescales and delays.

Definitely won’t be shopping there again, sadly.
