Can I convince you to not use this service?
Can I convince you to not use this service? We booked a transfer with them from Gatwick to central London 3 months in advance and explicitly explained that we will require a car seat for a 2.5 year old. We could have taken a cab. We didn’t literally only because this private service stated that they provide car seats. There was a box to check off requesting one and I also wrote it in the notes. That’s clearly explained, right? 3 months is enough time for them to make sure they have one available, right? Before our flight departed I emailed them to confirm that the driver would be there and that they would have a car seat. They almost immediately responded that the driver would be there but made no mention of the car seat. So I followed up and said “great…and they’re going to have a car seat, right?” and they deliberately ignored my email that time. So we arrive at Gatwick and the driver is late, in a smaller car than we requested and HAS NO CAR SEAT!!! It’s Christmas Day. We’ve already prepaid for this miserable service and there’s no public transport available. We’re stuck with them at this point.
Fast forward I have been requesting a refund since they had the audacity to deliberately put my child’s life at risk. Come hell or high water I will be getting a refund. The people that own this company are absolute trash. Take your business literally anywhere else.
Edit: Seriously? You have 2 different customers that you pulled this no car seat crap with and your solution is to start posting fake 5 star reviews! Wow! You people really are trash. FYI, “Dserwsds Friuyesfd” and “Wersfds Zasedf Reewsd” are 100% fake reviews that they posted after I posted my honest and scathing one. Do not book with these people. You are putting your safety at risk by doing so.

Can it be worse?
It was bad from the start. The driver picked us a the gate and said if we do not hurry we will pay extra for his parking. We come to the car and he demands 10£ cash for extra parking because he came early (flight was on time as were we). He refused to take us unless we pay. We paid and another bigger problem. We have a 8month baby and there was no child/toddler seat despite it was specified in the booking. The driver calls the manager and the manager tried to convince me to get in the car with the baby because that is legal in UK and that the seat is not needed. He offered no help, was not cooperative for any solutions. We had to get another company and it was very hard on such short notice and there was a train strike at the time in London. We had to call a lot of companies before one company (1st Airport Taxis) were kind enough to find space for us. We had to go through this situation with a baby! The only thing I regret is I did not call police on the spot as they were soliciting me to do an act against the law.

Firstly, we apologise for your dissatisfaction regarding our services, as our intention as a company is to provide the most efficient and satisfactory service possible. Secondly, regarding the £10 waiting charge - this is the waiting time charge that applies after 45 minutes after free waiting time - we told you we were not requesting any money from you as the driver didn't bring the child seat. Thirdly, we do not want to prove you wrong or argue about law of the land regarding child seats, however the law is clear cut as to what it says pertaining child seats in minicabs or taxis - you can find the relevant link here : https://www.gov.uk/child-car-seats-the-rules/when-a-child-can-travel-without-a-car-seat . Still, we apologise that we did not meet your standards and we hope you the best of luck.

Never Again
Transfer got there on time but we were delayed. An issue arose about extra payment - the driver was fine but the owner threatened to stop the ride with our young son in the car. We had already paid for the transfer via Minicabit (£100) but the owner wanted to leave us in the middle of no where because of £10 extra parking. Our only query was why wasn’t it mentioned beforehand and can an invoice be sent - he got very angry. We paid it in the end but definitely not what you need after a long flight with a sleepy toddler. Completely unprofessional - never again.

There are few things that we must highlight here, your pick up was 14:20 on 9th May 2023 and our driver picked you up at 15:34, Driver waited for you an hour and fourteen minutes at arrival hall and it did cost him for parking and he missed his next appointment because of your delay.
ManiCabit advise us to charge passenger for this time ( waiting time ) but we did not ask you for full waiting time which was £18 just as a good gesture. I told our driver that company will pay you £9 and £9.00 you have to request the passenger.
Driver requested you for £9.00 but you refused to pay, Then I called you at 16:56 for 9 minutes 3 second and I do consider that we communicated in positive environment.
In This situation when driver paid so much parking waisted his time lost his next booking and you consider that every thing comes to you free, no company does this practice in London. We do consider that it was a lack of information.
We tried our best to provide you service at our level best and still you gave us 2 star which is really very disappointing anyways Thank you very much indeed
Transferred to Uber
Driver was late. Said he then had to pick up someone else so transferred me to a local hotel to be transferred to an Uber. Driver said he was asked to do this by Xpress Airport Transfer who would pay for the Uber. Tried to contact Xpress Airport Transfer by their Whatsapp to ask whether this was legitimate but no reply. I felt I ahd no choice in the matter. Xpress Airport Transfer subsequently phoned me later in the day after I posted a 1 star review to say their internet was down. They deny they had arranged the Uber so difficult to know whether it was the driver or Xpress airport - one word against the other. They offered me a £10 reduction and asked me to take down 1 star review, but i declined as I feel people should be aware of what happened because of the potential personal safety governance and issues.

We were not aware of the situation as we did not receive any phone call from your side nor the driver at that time when this was happening.
Just had a word with our driver he said he did pick you up and whilst travelling you both agreed with each other on getting an uber you got dropped off at the hotel and the driver booked an uber for you.
There is no company involvement in this but still we would like to apologize for what happened as we would never want our client to get an uber when we have committed to provide you service and that's what we did we shared our driver details 10 hours before your journey.
So what ever happened was between you and the driver.
Should you require any further assistance we will be happy to assist you in regards to this journey

Driver went above and beyond
The driver went above and beyond to wait on us when something got mixed up with the time for pickup. He was so kind to us and very gracious! He was professional and just did an amazing job! Loaded all our suitcases and made sure we were comfortable.

We were assured meet and greet but still the passenger was asked to come to the parking lot. There was confusion initially even after prior request for the placard. That happened after a long international flight when passenger was already tired after long flight

Excellent service
The taxi arrived at pickup on time. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The passengers were happy with their long journey from London to Derby. For the return journey, Az again arrived on time and didn't complain when he had to wait for his passengers. He even took a photo of us all before setting off. I am completely happy to recommend for a polite, courteous, comfortable, hassle-free experience
