5 star customer service. Thank you Sean for responding to and dealing with my enquiry in such a timely and efficient manner.
The Yale alarm system itself is actually very good. However, I really regret paying extra for the professional installation service.
The quality of the setup was disappointing:
Loose Sensors: The door sensor fell off almost immediately after the installers left, forcing me to fix it myself.
Sloppy Mounting: The external siren mounted on the house is noticeably tilted, which looks unprofessional and messy.
If you're considering this system, buy the product but don't bother with the paid installation. It’s better to just do it yourself and ensure it's done right the first time.
Initially website gave me problems and needed to phone for solution. The response from then on was excellent.
I bought a safe a while ago. I stupidly forgot my master keys inside the safe and my code somehow stopped working. Reached out to Yale, they got back pretty much instantly. Resolved the cases in a few back and forth emails. Sean helped me with it today. I'm supposed to get the key tmr. I had a really good experience.

Purchaesd a 3 star euro cylinder last week from their website. It said delivery would be within 1-2 working days. After 3 days i contacted customer support because no item received nor any tracking info either. They said the warehouse had a backlog of orders and delivery would be 3-5 working days from date of order. After 5 days still not received and no tracking either. Contacted complaints team by email to find out whats happened to my order . They said warehouse delay and just cancelled the order themselves and said wait upto 7 working days for refund.
Totally rubbish service and no item. Complete waste of time.
Would never use again.

I had a great experience with my Yale YSV/250/DB1 safe and the support team.
Unfortunately, I was unable to open the safe as the batteries had drained, and I had also misplaced the emergency override keys. This was quite stressful, especially as my passports were locked inside.
I reached out to Yale customer support, and Sean handled my case. His service was excellent from start to finish, very responsive, clear, and genuinely helpful.
Within just two days, I received the replacement keys, and I was able to open the safe without any issues and retrieve my passports.
Overall, I am very impressed with both the quality of the safe and the outstanding customer service. Highly recommended.

Linus l2 smart lock.
Doesn’t function well.
Not user friendly.
Dangerous use that tells you it’s locked your home when it hasn’t.
Connectivity issues.
Can’t successfully add users.
Support were unhelpful and didn’t escalate or handle my complaint.
Would thoroughly advise avoiding this product, shame for a name such as Yale
I needed a replacement key for my Yale safe. After making enquiries through the website (easy to use), I received excellent customer service from Sean - prompt, helpful and professional - exactly what I would hope for.

Absolutely shocking experience. I spent over £2,000 on a door fitted with a Yale lock, only to discover that the limited number of keys provided meant I had to order extras for my family. Three additional keys cost an unbelievable £44.95 — and you can’t even get them cut at a normal place like Timpsons.
The ordering process was a nightmare. You’re forced to use their own browser “for security,” and even then the system kept failing. When the order finally went through, I was told the keys would arrive within 24 hours. They did — but they didn’t fit, despite me entering the correct key codes and following every instruction on their website.
I tried logging into the website again to check what the problem was and suddenly I was locked out — encrypted page errors, nothing loading. Very suspicious. So forced to send a contact form.
I contacted them after not hearing anything. When I called, the woman I spoke to was unhelpful and asked if I’d used lubricant, even though I’d already followed all their online guidance. Told me I’d hear about the issue by the end of the day.
Not within their guaranteed time frame, I finally get an email telling me I’d ordered the wrong key because of one single word — “ULTRA” — and that I’d need to buy them again. Who on earth pays £95 for replacement keys? Clearly YALE customers are expected to!
Avoid this company. The whole experience has been a complete joke.
Ordered a home safe that was more than £200. The Yale Home website said usually ships in 1 - 2 days. It's now over a week after placing the order and its still not dispatched. Raised a query with Yale Home on their website and was told the order had got stuck in processing but had now been marked for urgent dispatch. Still no communication saying order dispatched even after this. Really poor service for an expensive product. Very disappointed with the service from Yale Home. Avoid.

Bought 2 yale Linus L2 smart locks for office and propertirs for rent. The Yale Home App is no reliable. It L2 doesnt connect to internet properly. After literally spending hours to make it work I just lost like 12 hours of my day off for nothing. All these products are shit and not reliable. How is possible that the Yale Home App makes me request a code to log in, and its supposed to be sent to my email but Yales email doesnt work and code is not sent. What a super unreliable service. Do not buy.

Recently bought the new home smart alarm starter kit. Good points - the app is good to set up and use, the different volumes available for the indoor hub siren and outdoor alarm and easy placing of the sensors.
There are a couple of big nagative points though. The lights on the keypad are pretty useless. I guess the idea was to light up the keys when it's dark but the lights don't actually light up the keys so you can see what you are pressing meaning a light needs to be on to see the keys on the keypad. Also the instructions for opening the covers on the sensors are nowhere near good enough and I struggled to open up some of the sensors to get to the QR code and battery.

I contacted Yale UK because I found the identical product from China for half the price. I wondered if they might be counterfiet but Yale said they did supply to that company. I'm loathed to buy stuff from halfway around the world and wanted to buy direct. Yale offered me a 20% discount and I did prurchase from the UK.
