Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. I ordered my products on 14th January, it is now 18th February and I still haven’t received them. I contacted customer service who gave a generic answer and it was obvious that they hadn’t read my concern.
Amazing Grains
I have just discovered Zen-B grains and pasta, and have been telling family and friends all about them.
These are amazing products. Better than any competitor grains brands in supermarkets. Great choice of healthy ingredients, nutritional, brilliant, clear packaging and, importantly, so tasty, versatile and easy to cook.
I think Zen-B Japan are making a HUGE mistake withdrawing from the UK, just as the products were being discovered by people from all diet types.
Surely these products - and an expanded range - would have worked so well in supermarkets, yet they were only available online, or at least I have never seen them in a food store.
I have read the reasons for the UK withdrawal, and wonder where the decision makers are based? If in Japan, do they understand the UK diet/market, and that things have and are changing in the UK in terms of diet choices, the rapidly rising plant-based market, supermarket listing choices and plant-based consumer behaviour.
Zen-B products perhaps weren’t visible enough online and so would be unsustainable. I feel certain they could have gone mainstream in the retail sector though where the choice is currently limited. Has this been considered?
I hope Zen-B Japan will re-evaluate and
reconsider - and soon. There must be a lot of disappointed customers in the UK, whether vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or just people like myself, with a flexible diet but wanting to increase protein intake - and a lot of potential customers who don’t even realise what they have missed. The potential retail market must be huge…..
It feels like Zen-B have jumped too early, and I hope new funding or a buyer can be found so these amazing products can be given a chance in retail. Please come back….
Disappointing customer service and…
Disappointing customer service and service in general. Didn’t receive my order after 3 weeks, then parcel was lost by courier company and issued a refund when asked about my parcel. Pastas not that great either.
Wonderful
Absolutely wonderful pasta. Fabulous taste which better than any wheat base pastas. My partner & I only eat these products. Pasta cooks very quickly & can turn extremely soft if overcooked. The sauces are extremely tasty & the new bite size crackers we have with pate or soft spread cheese are absolutely yummy! Slightly on the pricey side so always purchase when discounted offers available.Well done ZENB! Highly recommend!
The fusili pasta tastes like ass
The fusili pasta tastes like ass, awful, added salt and still terrible. Did not mix well with any sauce, tomato or cream
Loyalty points disappeared. No customer service.
I've been a customer for over a year and had quite a lot of loyalty points.
When I wanted to use them toward San order, there was some error on their site - the code didn't work and my points vanished!
I reaches out for help and it took ages for someone to respond to me...offering me a discount code of 30% off, which wasn't helpful as I had lost far more in points value.
I asked again if I could get my points back but haven't heard back and probably won't until some time next month, at the rate of their customer service response.
I'm fed up with this terrible service, for such an expensive product and have cancelled my membership.
Aldi have now launched their own brand of chickpea and pea pastas and I'll just go with that.

I found this company on TickTok and was intrigued so brought straight away - tried the red pepper sauce and pasta and was so nice! It does turn slightly mushy if you leave for longer but its much better then white pasta which is giving me some digestive issues so this is a great alternative! Defo worth a try and just ordered again!

The spaghetti- tried twice once mixed with the sauce it just clumps together to make a sticky mess. Followed instructions fully.
Pasta is marginally better but will not buy again and go back to my normal red lentil pasta
Rubbish customer service
Have had over 18 boxes of this pasta no issues. Then latest order pasta just turning to mush. Customer service sent me their instructions for boiling pasta.....been cooking for decades and used over 18 boxes of this with no issues so don't think my ability to cook pasta is at fault. Asked for lot numbers etc just said they aren't aware of any issues. No come back, no apologies for my sub standard product. Won't be ordering again now I know what poor service they have, just blaming customers.
While I love the products but this company…
While I love the products this company sell as I'm wheat intolerant, the company ethics leave much to be desired. The code LEAPYEAR valid for just a day to get 30% discount doesn't work. I caontacted Customer Support - nothing in response. Then upon trying to leave a review on their website I could not due to a 'technical' error on their review page asking for a login to either fB or Twitter while the fields are all overwritten & illegible in layout anyway. The products may be a good but these days that's not enough - perhaps a company with better ethical business practices might take them by surprise with market share.

I made a mistake when placing my order and emailed to see if they could change it for me. Although I did not receive a response, I was pleasantly surprised to receive two boxes: the order which I wanted and the order which I had made an error on. Thank you ZENB for such good service. I love your products and will continue to be a loyal customer

I love Zenb which I first tried in 2021 and although I don't order very regularly (because I live alone and get through it slowly) my experiences have been positive. Orders arrive nicely packaged and fast. It is a little expensive in my opinion but they have good discounts and/or free delivery promotions quite often. I rarely eat pasta and havent for years because of the wheat/bloating but I thought I'd try this and I love it .... no bloating or overstuffed feelig at all and healthy. I have tried the three varieties of pasta and they're great. Throw in my veggies and sauce and theyre delicious. I've also just tried the Agile bowl with garlic and spinach. Again tasty, a good amount in a decent shaped bowl and great if you need something quick ...I threw san marzano tomatoes in with one, mushroom in another and I enjoyed them. The garlic was obvious, not over strong, which I liked but if you don't want garlic breath in the office ... I also ordered the variety mash pack but have yet to try those and will come back on that. My tip with the pasta would be, as with wheat pasta, not to overcook it and err on the side of al dented. A healthy, enjoyable alternative to wheat

Cannot log into account.
I’ve received an email saying I will receive another delivery if your frankly awful food but I cannot cancel.
I’ve tried logging in —- account does not exist ( then how did you email me?)
I tried password recovery —- oops something went wrong, over and over.
I am NOT paying for food I am not going to eat. It will be handed back to courier. Any money taken from my account will be treated as theft.
Avoid this company.
Awful Costuner Service
Having trouble logging into my account. Emailed in good time for them to cancel my order but they have ignored 3 emails about this. I have no been charged for an order I did not want and no response from the company. Really awful defo steer clear of them and I will be taking it further if I do not get a reply and reimbursed for the order

You can't speak to anyone on the phone, only email them but the emails keep bouncing back undelivered.
No way of communicating with them about your order or subscription.
My advice: try elsewhere!
Great for my low carb diet
Was a little sceptical that it would be as nice as wheat pasta but thought I would give it a try, I was pleasantly surprised
It tastes really nice. I cooked it a little less than the recommended time,as I tasted it during cooking and after 12 minutes it was fine. Will definitely buy some more.

Unable to change the stuff in the box each delivery so if there’s something you don’t like you have to cancel subscription and start again!

Just arrived today, glad I only went with the cheapest option to try it, it's about £10 to buy just 3 boxes of pasta with it getting cheaper the more you buy, but what has arrived is 3 half empty boxes of spaghetti. I think by weight it might not even be half what £1 will get you of normal spaghetti in a supermarket.
So I've paid £10 for 1 pack of spaghetti, absolute ripoff.
Haven't tried actually cooking with it yet but I doubt I'll be buying any more.
Weird texture and taste
Bought a mixture of different pasta shapes / 8 boxes in total.
This really isn't for our family, it's got a weird sandy texture, overlooks really quickly and has an odd taste.
Sadly a waste of money for us as we have 6 boxes left!
