This is from Sarah Collins. I have been a member of the Eastbourne Club for 18 months. I only ever use the club for Aqua-fit and have never been impressed with the facilities. The hairdryers don't always work, the lockers are often out of action, the showers are grotty. This is a CLUB with PAID members, not a free fitness centre. As I said I am only interested in the Aqua-Fit which occurs in the pool. On many occasions the boiler breaks down, meaning that my workout is not possible, (especially during the recent winter months). On top of this I recently froze my account for the whole of April as I am on holiday. I have done this before and it is a straightforward process in the app. They are now claiming that this did not happen! They refuse to give me any financial goodwill for something that is not my fault. The commuication is apauling, nobody calls you back when you leave messages. I have wasted a lot of money with Bannatyne for things that are not my fault. I think that the only reason that they have 2 stars is because you have to leave a minimum of 1 star. Totally appauling experience - And for the record, I do not normally leave negative reveiws.
